- In this video Im going to show the process of installing BBk long tube headers. Im also going to show how loud the motor is with open header exhaust.

This video gave me a reference to install them on my SRT8 and I can tell from experience that this is not an easy job and will test your patience.

How did you get your dipstick to mount. I couldn’t get the stock bolts to work on mine and didn’t have a bolt that would work to mount the dipstick tube?
There’s bolts with stud at the head or get a longer one and put washers as spacers.
hey i have a 2013 pursuit with the same cai as you and I plan I ordering bbk long tubes but I was wondering do you feel a big difference or does it feel about the same
You feel a difference on throttle response
@@mysterygarageCA do you think its worth it I was going to do a stage 2 comp cam but I don't have much experience so I would haft too take it too a shop that's why I was thinking for now long tubes

Best bang for your buck is exhaust work and rear end swap. These cars respond great breathing better.

Do they come with a o2 bung at the top of the header like the old manifold that was one the car?
Yes
Support the engine with a hoist and drop the subframe. It's literally half the time and work😊

I heard U can't run them with out a tune I'm about to get my done in two day..

No, you don’t need a tune!
Did you have trouble with the passenger side top middle bolts. Can’t get them started.
No, try different tools, use wrenches and 1/4inch ratchets. Also, try to get some of them from the top.
@@mysterygarageCA hand doesn’t fit from the top. Lol. I use a 1/4” ratchet on all so far. But can’t on this one because the tube is over top the hole. 2” primary tubes. What size were yours?

Online, customer brought them.
How much power did you make with headers
Is more like throttle response!
@@mysterygarageCA I just got mine installed couple months ago alot more power I gapped a newer subi was back firing and being cocky so I gave him that work at the light honestly thought I was gonna lose

I hate white cars. That being said, these chargers look badass in white! Something about the grill and headlights make it one of the best colors in my opinion! Nice ride

Yup!
I went long tubes, after shorties. They're a deeper sound, 9 DCB quieter, not much changed in the butt dyno. I did race another RT with the exact mods once, he had LTS while i had shorties. I had him til 65.
