  • Join us on our non-resident DIY Antelope hunt as 7 of us travel to Wyoming with 17 tags in total and 6 days to hunt! We take on two units with limited public land but thanks to the help of the onXhunt app we were able to navigate the units without worry of where the public and private land was!

    Very good video, loved the way you guys flowed like water. And those guys “telling their story” (fast forward) lol.
    You guys got the trip dialed in.

    Let me guess, eastern Wyoming near Buffalo or Gillette? The picture at 14:05 was really well done. However, the best part of the video was at 50:51 when he thanked the antelope.

      @@roughcountry5913 cool. I actually live within a mile of the ocean. Love traveling to hunt as well. We had another diy caribou trip to alaska next month but with my brother drawing a Wyoming mt goat tag we decided to cancel it and make sure we get his goat. If he tags out early, we still may get up to alaska. Last time we went to alaska we only had 4 days to plan the entire hunt before we flew up. Talk about not much time to plan 😂. We decided to fly into kodia and hire a float plane to go hunt sitka deer. Sometimes those spur of the moment trips are the most memorable. They sure make things interesting when, for example.. none of the group has ever set foot on the island before.
      Every year i try to plan a hunt to somewhere I've never been before, that is something i love doing.
      Sounds to me like your very much the same way 👍

      @@chasethehunt2187 man that's awesome about the goat hunt. I saw some giants when I was there on my last elk hunt. My dad drew a premium California tag this year but I dont think he will be able to hunt his last hunt because of the fires. My zone burned up. I have an Oregon bull tag. I'm looking for another last minute hunt out of state to get in on with losing out here. Maybe Idaho. Stay safe on your travels and good luck.

      We were running a 300wm and a 300 short. Overkill? Sure, but we have experienced zero meat loss by putting the bullet where it should go. Next time we go back it will most likely be a 300wm and a 6.5prc.

      @@chasethehunt2187 I've never Antelope hunted. I have a 300WSM, 308, and a 270. I'm considering my 270 paired with a Nosler ballistic tip 130 gr. On Whitetail it's been extremely effective. Thoughts?

      You should educate yourself on how conservation works before popping off ignorant comments about hunting. Or maybe search out some videos of these “cute animals” crashing through car windshields or dying of starvation and disease. What I saw here were lawful responsible hunters taking game in a humane and respectful manner.

    • @justjordan2262
      @justjordan2262 2 года назад +2

      there is no shortage of pronghorn, their numbers are higher than ever and hunters provide more conservation funding than anyone else period. They are also the tastiest things out west if you ask me, maybe aside from a moose or yearling elk cow.
