Yall said it would likely be a 3 day pack out. I’d love to know the distance and elevation yall have to travel as well as the gear weight. Just curious for comparison of what my friends and I do in Idaho. Also, have yall done a “gear dump” video? Love your videos! Great work!
Hey man thanks for the comment. It was approximately a 8-9 mile pack out and about 3000 ft in total elevation gain. I did a gear dump video a few years back but a lot of my stuff has changed since that time. I’m hoping to do another gear dump video soon but I’m not sure if it will be before elk season kicks off. That was the only buck we saw on the trip. And a group of 4 doe the day prior. We only really spent about 2 days actually looking for animals though. The rest of the time we were packing meat!
