you made this look so easy! saving this recipe for a special occasion. I had the best mole when I visited my aunt in puebla. it was delicious with home made tortillas. I love my mole to be sweet not bitter that's how I grew up eating it. thank you so much for this recipe! you are the best! feel so inspired to go out and get these ingredients and try it this week.

If you can't find vegan chicken bouillon, you can sub for the chicken flavoured seasoning that comes in those instant ramen packs (Mr. Noodle, etc). Yup, chicken flavoured ramen is vegan!
Yes it is, most bolillos are vegan by default. They're usually made with flour, yeast, water and salt. But on rare occasions specially at Mexican panaderias I've found that some add pork lard :| Always ask the baker to ensure🙂
