    I was expecting a mechanics guide, not a grinding walkthrough.
    At 10min in, this seems decent. I am not at all a fan of the self-flagellation strategy over gaining hp by playing normally. But if grinding is someones favourite part, this game will definitely allow it 😂
    I'm not willing to watch more of this to learn whether you cover evasion and equipment weight, or maximizing the first action bonus over a whole playthrough rather than grinding magic monotonously in one area/battle. Beating yourself up is a trap that sucks the fun out of the game.

    I always use the captain inside finn to strengthen myself, blink and heal, attack until dead (physical or magical either will level quickly)

      Also great drops like toad tome and golden armor, golden bow

      Yup. If you're strong enough, Captain is really a very convenient spot for stat grinding.

      How do you beat the Captain that early in the game?

      @@omegamaelstrom1001 give everyone fire, hope you survive, if not restart from quick save until you do, once you have enough HP, just physical attack and level all your characters. My firion had level 16 swords before I got minwu

    This game leveling systems are bizarre, if you want to become stronger you need to be as weak as posible

    • @SergeofBIBEK
      @SergeofBIBEK 3 месяца назад +2

      That's just the exploitation of the system. If you play normally then it makes sense. If you are struggling to beat stuff, you get stronger faster. If you are easily dunking on stuff you don't get rewarded with a ton of "experience" or stat boosts.

    Please stop pushing this. Hitting yourself is NOT NECESSARY and Im tired of this old bandwagon of "yOu HaVe tO hIt YoUrSeLf tO gEt BeTtEr!" You DONT. People just saw that this was ONE way of doing it and started believing that you HAVE to do this.

    • @omegamaelstrom1001

      @@cyberius100 I agree. I got a whole bunch of FF2 playthroughs showing how you can easily beat the game without grinding but the one video where I say hit yourself gets the views.
