Another great review! Evl 34 vs V3x 33 would be blockbuster don't you think. Many people are waiting for that one and you're the right person to deliver it. 🙌
The valley on the Mathews is perfect IMO. If you relax it will come off the back wall but it wont rip your arm off. Exactly what I'm looking for. Tells you you're slacking without punishing you. Hoyt hbx is close but not at refined in that regard.
@@chrislomangino4335 Yeah I have to try the newer ones but I do have an rx5 ultra. I just think mathews has it nailed down in that particular category for me. There are other areas where other bows shine as well. Have an rx7 ultra and v3x 33 on order.
Thanks a lot, i always look your reviews, Its a passion. Today i realized something: You were talking about Length AtA. 29/33. weight, 4.4 lbs. and looking the effort required to pull te 70lbs bow. I have a few years old APA King Cobra , 70 lbs, 27.5 DL. i looked the ATA, 33. and weight 3.9. speed, 330 fps with 360gr arrow. So basically, its always fun to look and try different and newer bows. but this review made me realized I Have a heck of a bow and Mat/Hoy, are not even close. Yes they are very pricey, but i think i understand better now. Thanks again, you are doing such a great work , we need guys like you !
I decided to buy a 29. I usally buy q bow every few years. There was something about the v3s i really loved. And after a season with my 27 i really started to get good with it. I shot 29" deaw and 73 pounds. When i went down to my local bow shop. I wasn't planning on buying a bow just wanted to shoot it. It was 29" with 75# mods pulling 78 pounds.. and the draw cycle was so smooth and easy to draw. The brace hight was a little longer too. Not by alot or anything but was like a 1/4 inch. I don't know other than q inch longer, what was really different but it was. Thats for me at my draw length and weight. When 78 pounds feels like 60 i was impressed.. ky 27 you know you're pulling 70 pounds and i was and still am ok with that. You kinda get use to it over time with any bow. I liked the new prime bows too. But i ordered a 29 be here in a few weeks. Can't wait. Thanks for the video. Love you're channel. Are you going to do a review on the new black gold sight when you get you hands on one? I want to shoot a Athens Vista.. they look like a great bow
Yes you told me something I haven’t heard about thus bow. I’ve watched quite a few of the V3X reviews I got about a year ago. And often wonder if you could safely back out the bolt that many turns. I’ve wanted to turn my 70 down to about 60 though the summer practice. Thanks I’ll back it down after the season ✌🏻 Plus hats off for going through the speed test with your off hand
Can’t wait for that hamskea review! I’ve been wanting to make the switch to limb driven but heard about the quiver issue. I’m still waiting for my 29 to come in, so I still have some time to decide between the integrated and the new hamskea.
Always have awesome reviews, but the companies must not like you a lot…. Giving you all these right handed bows instead of your natural left handed bows to review for us, lol. Keep them coming!
The low pro whoever will work with the Hamskea Epsilon Mathews addition. I am a HUGE Trinity fan. The new epsilon is better than the trinity. More compact. And slams right up against the riser
I just got my v3x 29 in. I had a custom build. I got it in granite wt red and black strings. I have the hamskea epsilon rest made for mathews. I have the spot Hogg fast Eddie xl double pin sight. Conquest control freak pro stabilizers wt the smacwrap tech. I run a 10 inch in the front and back bar wt a 8 inch. I run my let off at 80%
Lots of geometric boxes on the new Mathews' risers. A tad more weight, but that's got to be rigid. - Has the stabilizers falling out always been a problem, or just on last year's bows? Mine's a 2015.
Cool vlog dude. I really enjoy your vlogs because I learn a lot from them and apply it for myself and with my brother too. Just one thing that I wanted to throw out there is that I know that your left handed just like me I'm also q south paw shooter too, would it be easier for you to have a buddy that can help you that is a right handed shooter and you can just narrative guy. I think that would make the vlogs even better because you really look goofy when pulling back right handed. Have a great day.
This is for anybody that knows, great reviews by the way, can I re-fletch my arrow with the same vanes that are on it? Will they get damaged when I strip them off? First timer
If you had to pick would you rather shoot the vx3 or the rx7? I’m having back and forth thoughts on both, i shoot a triax now and I’m looking at buying a new bow just can’t decide.
@@InsideOutPrecision Nice thank you. Canadian here. One more question sorry. I measure 72 inches for winge span. Is it better to go with 33 or 29 mathews v3x.
@@glenemslie7712 really just depends on what you like, and how much you want to spend. I like the axcel accustat2 in a 5 pin slider for a high end sight. I personally think CBE makes a decent sight as well, for a more affordable option. I would recommend going to your local shop, putting hands on a few, and deciding what you like best.
Went to go pick up my V3X 33 two weeks ago. While setting it up I robin hooded. Definitely one of the best bows I’ve shot from Mathews.

Great bow. My shop has a leftover Vertix for $799 going to go with it for my first good bow.
Vertix is a solid bow. You should be happy with it.

Amazing review! But took ur advice and the 33 is amazing
285 is exactly what I like for broadheads. I don't understand how you can even draw a bow right handed if you're a lefty!!
When are you doing a review on the Hoyt venture pro 33 ?
And I have the 33 and love it

Would it be possible to get a caliper measurement on the width of the Bridge lock sight slot?
Hey just curious. You have a pse evl as a personal bow. Which do you like better. The pse evl. Or the new mathews v3x?
I just sold my evl. Gonna shoot the v3x 33. Draws smoother and it much quieter which is nice for hunting. Also aims extremely well

Can you do those arrows with a 75lbs mod at 28in draw
I wish they woulda kept the stone color
Why is it squeaking when you pull it back?
Your just hearing the stops hitting the cables
Will the black gold dove tail work. ? Great review.
I don’t think so. I believe black gold is the only one that won’t work
@@jorrick66 thanks. What sight would u recommend like the black gold. ?

kinda crazy , shooting 480gr at 28" you got 266 and with455gr got 281 ?
got me worry about my arrow setup ...same bow and I shoot 475 with at 27" draw... am I gettin 258 ?
I cant decide between this bow and the Elite Omnia, I am concerned that the mathews will be impossible to tune with fixed broadheads, your thoughts..
I’ve tuned hundreds of Mathews to broadheads, but you need a press to do so. The Omnia is definitely easier for the DIY guys
👍👍👍👍👍
Is it gray or tan
Both haha...
I'm all over the place with my mach 1 with stabilizer in front and back. Would going to v3x 29 be better?
