    I really like the looks of that bow. I’m wondering how many years before bow manufactures all go to the the pic rail or bridge lock. I’m not sure if Mathews has a trademark on the bridge lock or even if that’s possible but in the next few years I would guess most companies would be offering one of these choices or both.

    • @l.i.archer5379

      @@l.i.archer5379 bridge lock system is far from gimmicky. This system was initially for the dovetail sight. The dovetail sight is awesome. For other bows that do have C-clips, do you think that orienting the open end of the C-Clip out would prevent it from flicking off with shooting? I am doing this now. For C-clips that rotate during a session I add a small dab of blue Loctite.

    Maybe you can help, where can I buy a set of PSE evolve E2 cams with the modules and yolkes. I wouldn't mind the S2 or just the EC cams cause the E2 is a tough draw. My XF30 exploded while shooting, I believe the failure was with the roller guard. Think the screw holding the roller guard was loose and backed out. The roller guard and arm cam off but the top cam is destroyed and the yolkes are gone, no idea where they ended up. No response from PSE and can't find anything online on where to buy them. Thanks if you can help

    • @InsideOutPrecision
      @InsideOutPrecision  Год назад

      You can buy news cams, but you’ll need new strings and limbs as well. The limb deflections and string lengths are all cam specific.

    • @InsideOutPrecision
      @InsideOutPrecision  Год назад

      And PSE won’t sell you different cams than what was on the bow when you bought it. They’ll ask for the serial number when you order cams and send you what matches the bow

    • @InsideOutPrecision
      @InsideOutPrecision  Год назад

      The roller guard didn’t fail, it was just a product of the explosion. Are either of your limbs broken?

    • @C.Adams82
      @C.Adams82 Год назад

      @@InsideOutPrecision the limbs are fine and the bottom cam is fine. Top cam is damaged and yokes are gone. But if I'm replacing top cam I need to replace the bottom. The modules appear to be good . I've got a new set of cables and strings. I just need the cams, maybe be safe to get new modules as well. I don't know what happened. It's a fairly new bow. I got it new at the first of February. I wasn't the original buyer. I bought it from someone who ended up buying a Phase 4 ,they never shot it. It still had the tag on it. I've shot it almost daily since Ive had and never any sign of a problem.

    • @C.Adams82
      @C.Adams82 Год назад

      It happened when I fired the bow ,not on the draw. I know alot of people derail on the draw but this wasn't a derail. When I fired the bow the arrow ended up at my feet. A few people have told me the arrow may have been cracked at the nock of the nock itself was compromised.

      @InsideOutPrecision  Год назад

      @@drmitofit2673 sorry, wasn’t that aimed at you personally, I meant it in the general sense of “you”. The full draw stability actually has nothing to do with how the bow holds, it has to do with the amount torque that is induced when the cam breaks over. They’re definitely a stable bow, but not because of the FDS specifically.

    These new PSEs have static yokes criss-crossing that yoke spreader. That means you can twist the yokes again to get the cams to lean for perfect tuning. No need to change shims on these bows.

    • @InsideOutPrecision
      @InsideOutPrecision  Год назад +5

      Actually there is a huge need to change the shims. If you’re tearing .5” or more to the right or left the yokes won’t help. Shim the cams then use the yokes to take out any minor tears

    • @optimuscrime608
      @optimuscrime608 Год назад

      Do not listen to this guy lol. please shim your cams before you ever decide to touch the yokes. unless your tear is crazy small.

    • @l.i.archer5379
      @l.i.archer5379 Год назад

      You could twist the yokes and adjust the rest. This would be the easier thing to do than to take the cams to change shims when the simper solution would probably work. Also, not a lot of people keep shim kits with ~20 different sizes of shims, and for different axle diameters. like I do.

    • @l.i.archer5379
      @l.i.archer5379 Год назад

      @@optimuscrime608 you're out of your mind. I've twisted yokes on bows with 1.5" tears and they tuned perfectly. Granted, these were standard yokes on the outside of the limbs, and the PSEs have them straddling the cams, but there's plenty of room to twist the yokes to lean the cams before they cams start contacting the yokes. Of course, you wouldn't want to see excessive cam lean either, but you can always adjust the rest after twisting the yokes a reasonable amount.

    • @InsideOutPrecision
      @InsideOutPrecision  Год назад

      With the new shim system it takes less time to shim it than twist the yokes
