Not just the best carbon bow I have ever shot, but the best overall bow I've ever shot. The Mach 34 is my holy grail bow, going to be real difficult for anything else to dethrone this one for me.
Great review once again. Thank you for this. Looks like a pretty sweet bow.
Another great video. Looking forward to the EC cam update
I forgot how good your bow reviews are...
That was awesome... Thanks.
Glad you didn't get hurt by that broken arrow.
I'm getting a new bow from ya soon. I'll definitely want to try this one. 😋
I wanna thank you put away you promoted the PSE drive annex T shot a lot of bowls all the DES banana and I have one I’m in love with it it’s the best bowl I’ve ever shot thank you so much
Technically reflex is from the limb leverage point (back of the limb pocket where the limbs and riser first meet) and the hand leverage point (throat of the grip)
Love your reviews man. FLEX THOUGHS ARROWS BRO!!!!!!!!!!! Glad you weren't hurt. Cant wait to see the updates with the other cam models.
Finally might be a good replacement for my PSE Dream Season EVO 2011 ;).
Oh my, that broken arrow was a close call there lol
Man, I want one of these but I’m also wanting to hold out and see if Hoyt releases some badass bow for 24 in grey
love your videos! I would love if you did a video on shooting and sighting in at short distances...
Not much to it. In terms of what you do as the shooter there’s no difference between shooting 100 yds or 5 yards. But you sight will need to move down for anything under 9 yds usually. Like I set my sight at 56yds to hit a 3yd target
@@InsideOutPrecision id love to know how to set my scope or if there is some sort of scale for this?? I shot 4 yards and couldn't figure out why I was missing at 5 yards...
@@pauln1176 archers advantage or archers mark are both great apps
@InsideOutPrecision -
Curious if you know… I have an early Mach 34 that shipped with EC cams . Shortly after they came out with the EC2. Would it be a simple cam swap to upgrade? May not be worth it but it bugs me to spend so much on a bow to have an upgrade right after I bought it
Possible to show some long DL shots? Too many reviews for the so called "average" DL. Like to see what the efficiency is like for these rigs at max, or as close as possible to max DL. TIA
Just add 10 fps for ever inch longer or subtract 10 for shorter.
The s2 cam in that bow will surprise you I seen another video and ,30 inches 70 lps 350 grain arrow hit 340
Man this looks nice. Not huge fan of the huge height, but!!! I could get over that for this bow 😍 Am looking for a new compound bow actually and wanted something proper this time that can last me for a long time. Thx for nice detailed review.
Could always look into a Levitate too, about the same thing but 32" ATA. Should be a bit faster.
I'm glad you didn't get a hospital bill! 😅
I just ordered a Mach 34 with the Evolve cams. At 29.5”, the S2 cam has quite a hump and dump and the end. Very sweet bow.
I had it in my hands about 2 weeks ago they fixed the shim issue if I’m not wrong where you can now remove shims without pulling axles and they can also not be put in backwards etc and he axles are bolt in not C clipped
Kellen, will we be able to upgrade our EVL EC cams to the new axel/clip system?
Perhaps I just have found the right resource - but when is the full PSE reveal? I find it odd they just drop the news of a new carbon bow and then silent as far as the rest of the line.
Anybody know?
I think longer just conflicts the lightweight benefit of the bow. But I do like it still. Price is ridiculous.
I want one with the EC cam. I like the smooth draw of my evl also
I ordered the EC. The manager and trusted tech at my bow shop immediately ordered one after he shot it. My Mach 1 is a touch unforgiving for me. Looking forward to this bow.
@@HuWhiteNat I'm in the same boat, me and my Mach 1 just don't get along as well as I'd like. I'm going to try this and see if it works.
@@youngbuck9481 I’m hoping that Prime offers a 34” ata as well. If it has a fatter brace height, I’m ordering one. Their Inline platform supposedly holds like a rock. I shot the Inline 3 and it felt pretty nice.
@@HuWhiteNat that’s one thing I have always liked about prime they have always offered a longer axle to axle bow even with my short draw length I prefer a 34-35 shooting a 30 in bow just doesn’t do it for me
15 min to change the shims…. Took me every bit of 2 hours on my levitate lol
Haha yeah the first couple I did took me little while but then I got a pretty good system down
Are you going to do a review of the OMEN?
I’m not sure why bow companies don’t make the bearings for the cams threaded to the axle and then use a system like you have on a sight to adjust it up and down to move the cams left or right. Seems like an easy thing to design, would be extremely solid and would make tuning a breeze.
Bowtech has a patent on that
Bowtech has a patent on that
@@MichaelAllmanArcher use patent or design? Seems like something u could very easily tweak to get around a patent. That’s like patenting the use of top hats.
Sounds like a great idea, you gonna need folks for testing? 🤣😂
What is the oolong or crackling noise every time you draw? Maybe Velcro on your wrist strap
I wonder if you could upfit an evl with the new shim system?
seen a few videos about this bow, some say you need a press, others say you don't (to change the spacers).
How would you get the cam back if it slid over to one side of the limb, probably use a screwdriver.. just press it to be safe and don't damage your limb.
@@tatt2mac1 it needs to be pressed, take it to a shop, dont risk damage!
Safety first 🤪...I had a broken cable...mad dry fire.
So I bought a press for 250 and i turn the limb bolts out when I press the bow.. Man.. the speed nocks we're all gone ,,cams
chipped...scary shit.
Invest in a second hand bow press if your in to the tech.. money well spent
Will you be reviewing the Omnia soon?
We don’t carry Elite so it’s hard to get my hands in one to review
Curious if the axles, and shims will fit in levitate, and xf33.
Nope. Axles are different
And they'll never make another Cam I don't think that will outdraw the involved that will outdraw the evolve camp the evolve camp is the best I've ever felt besides maybe my target bow the bow Tech cracking it's got a amazing draw cycle also the prime in line of 5 I was very very surprised by it very surprised by it I bought one for like 900 bucks fully loaded and I'm telling you it is something else I mean obviously I set the draw stop to where it hit way before and then you got it almost a inch before the draw cycle
Dude. Use periods. I almost had a stroke reading your word salad.
So which would you take if you can only have one? RX7 ultra or this PSE?
No doubt, Rx-7
Wondering if the limb dampners will work on a xf33. That bow is quit
Yeah I’m sure they would.
I live in Tucson and my local archery shop contacted PSE. They are individually packaging the limb dampers for sale. Should be out soon.
@@InsideOutPrecision they do, got a set and they improve the feel and quiet the bow down a bit...love them
Seems strange you need to add weight to make this bow more stable? What's the advantage to buying a lightweight carbon bow? I will keep my NXT and spend my saved money on accessories.
Well you can add weight to make it more stable and it’s still going to be a pound lighter than any aluminum bow. Any bow needs stabilizers to hold best. It’s not so much the over all physical weight, but where the weight is located ( away from the bow) that helps a bow aim.
@@InsideOutPrecision Oh I agree with that. I use front and rear stabilizers but just 5oz and 2oz. $1800 is a little pricey I'm saying
Will this bow use for target shooting
No it’s a hunting bow
My PSE evl came without limb dampeners is that normal?
Yes the evl didn’t have dampeners
@@InsideOutPrecision hand shock is my only complaint should I look in to geting some
@@Matt-jb1pb you could. Won’t hurt anything. Hand shock doesn’t hurt anything either though. Every target bow is a rattle trap but they drive tacs
not bias at all. you admitted not into carbon bows. you say it has a bit of a thump. dude they all do. yes Matthew's and others are a bit quiet and perhaps more dead in hand, well they ought to, damn things weigh almost 6 lbs! I love carbon bows, they get unfairly beat up.
The Rx7 doesn’t have a thump..
And Mathew’s weight 4.6 lbs haha
Been debating getting one of these with the S2 cam for 3d next year.....
still no lower stab mount. super annoying
I’ve played around with the lower vs upper on my EVL and tend to actually group better with the upper. Just my personal experience though
04 hca tss doesn't walk , under 3 lbs
Also feels like a .44mag when you shoot it
Kinda slow. My v3x33 at 27dl 70lb does 308fps with a 425gr arrow. 80%let off
Yeah that bow is rated faster and this bow was at 85%. So probably a good 8-10 fps slower
It might be one of the best.. but it's for.sure one of the ugliest.. it definitely won in that category
You know how opinions are
Just thinking the opposite.
I like the lines way better than the Hoyt 🤷🏻♂️. I ordered mine in charcoal with Elevated limbs.
This review was pointless. Dude had no experience with the bow because it's right handed, thus no actual feelings about it. Complete waste of time.
The whole point of these reviews is to be unbiased and get people the technical information and speeds of different bows. Just because I like or dislike the way a particular bow “feels”, doesn’t mean others will feel the same way. Thanks for the view and hope you have a good day.
About time Bro, where have you been?
