For 2004 TB I used PN 14055. Was a pain getting it on. I ended up popping it onto the peg, then using channel locks (very carefully, making sure the eye was flush against it and not at much of an angle) to get the shift cable onto it. It seems like a snug fit, but I might pick a few up (including 14057) just in case it pops off or breaks again. Might zip tie the peg plate and cable together for extra security.

I watched 2 videos on this problem. I went to the Auto parts store and the clerk sold me the wrong piece and it wouldn’t fit. So, searched RUclips and found your video. Your Dad gave the part item number. I went back to the store and changed the piece. I had to pay $2 more. Got home and the piece #14073 I believe it was. Fit perfectly and I placed cable back on and secured it with the washer piece. Got from up underneath the car and with fingers crossed I started my car and shifted my car back into park. Listen, I am 48 years old and never done anything serious with fixing cars. The sad part is that a mechanic told me it was going to be $1300 to replace my transmission. Thanks to you and your Dad. I didn’t have the $1300. I’m glad I found this video. I can only imagine how many people have been lie too and taken advantage of. I spent $18.56. The sense of achievement I received from the completion of this job was amazing. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to the both of you! ❤
so I changed the bushing. my key was in the ignition on accessory now even though the gear is in the park position i can't get the key out of the ignition. i can't move the shifter or start. battery is dead dead. what's your opinion?

You can move the lever tht the cable broke off from.

Try turning your steering wheel while trying to turn the key

According to dorman the 14073 is not the proper bushing for that year.
As you can see in the video works perfectly. I just bought the part, i didnt check with dorman

Its a factory rim tht came on them back then, i just spray painted them black. If you google 2007 gmc envoy rims, youll see it.
