- When I started playing this game I never expected to ever crash the game, or beat it. This run was also the Overall Score, Level, Lines, and 19 Score world record.

Came here after watching Salt's video, had to watch it for myself, congratulations, I heard the news and understood it was an accomplishment but now I understand how much of an accomplishment it was, your dad sure will be proud.
Only 16 ppl got past the normal colour palette to glitch colours and only I think four people have crashed the game/defeated the game and Alex T has the world record for highest score. Highest score crash
He pretty much has every world record is Gabe stopped at level 235 also known as greeeeeeen instead of this level 10 lines it was 810 lines he did not beat it though or 10% into the level

Amazing achievement, hard to believe this was even humanly possible - as the game was clearly designed to never be beaten. Played this game so many times in the 80s and 90s, never expected to see this day. Legendary accomplishment that is well beyond the gaming community.

Given that the level record was constantly being surpassed after the rolling technique was invented, I can see more people beating Tetris in 2024. However, this kid will be remembered as the first to hit it no matter what (and the only one in 2023). I hope he enjoys being a competitive gamer before he goes to college.
The next big achievement will be the first to roll over. Hit 255, and go back to 0. If it's even possible! It'll probably take sheer luck, because remembering to avoid all the kill screen triggers at just the right time will be insanely difficult.

You were right, as of right now we have two more completed runs. Fractal 2023 Tetris champion beat the game in 03.01.2024, so 12 days after our young prodigy. It's worth to add that Fractal was the first to try and beat Tetris streaming his attempts which motivated Scuti to do it as well, who as we all know was the first person to "beat" Tetris in 21.12.2023. Fractal in that run beat Scuti's run and has the WR with fastest time to crash (155lv - 38:04). A day after Fractal (04.01.2024) PixelAndy (2020 finalist) also beat Tetris and in the same level as Fractal but slower, even slower than Scuti's run (157th level). Few days ago PixelAndy has surpassed Blue Scuti's points record by 2 mln though, so every one of this players is the best in a different category, which at this moment we have 3 main leaderboards:
