- Make photo-realistic models using Lama.ai, DALL·E, and Blender. Perfect for background assets or for 3D modeling beginners, I'll show you how to transform simple text prompts into 3D models, then refine the result all with no modeling or texturing required!
What You'll Learn:
The process of creating lifelike models using Lama.ai, starting from a basic text prompt to selecting the best-generated image for your project.
Tips on utilizing DALL·E for generating texture images, including how to fine-tune your creations using seed numbers.
Plus how to convert your images into normal maps for added depth and texture, ensuring your models pop with realism.
Essential techniques for importing and editing your models in Blender, from projecting textures to adjusting lighting, to bring your 3D scene to life.

That's a great tutorial and Amazing to learn, but how to model the other side of the building? thanks
this is a great question! I did a test and you can use the image seed in dalle to generate a side view. I put an update with photos in my blog here: ameliascarlett.com/workblog/2024/3/2/blenderai
That's wild, thank you
I use stable diffusion (locally) with deph map plugin (invoke ai UI). That's a bit simpler as it creates the depth map, mapping the texture, and then I only have to get the image back to use in uv map.
That’s awesome, I haven’t tried stable diffusion but I’ve been experimenting with depth mapping so I’ll need to give it a try!
@@Scarlett_vfx try it with invoke AI. It's a local installation. You will need to search a bit to find how to use depth map. If needed, I will soon create my channel with tutorials 😜
great tutorial
I'm a newbie game developer, and I found this absolutely useful. Thank you 😊
There's a way better tutorial for things like this from Sime Bugarija called The BEST way to model and texture anything in Blender FAST.
It's way better than this video and helps you make any model. It's a bit more work but the models are actually high quality.
Then you're in the wrong place. Go and actually learn the principles of modelling in 3D instead of trying to take short cuts that produce awful results
this is very wacky. The text makes no sense at all as soon as you focus on what's really there, the normal map makes no sense either and the topology is equivalent to a loaf of bread. the only good that this might be for, is for an object 2 km away from the viewer.
thats cool. I think
Is that also possible with MS Copilot which is Dallas-e based?
Yes! You can really use any ai image generator just make sure to add some form of “front view on a white background” to your prompt for best results :)
on one hand this seems wrong, but theoretical it shows what the possibilities are.. But the 3d model really wasn't needed.. the shop is just a box. Modeling a simple box fitting more to the generated shop would have made more sense in the context of this video. But still great explanation.
Cool
it does not look realistic at all, go look at lazy tutorials from Ian hubert:ruclips.net/p/PL4Dq5VyfewIxxjzS34k2NES_PuDUIjRcY
and also, people, please look at the result before trying to replicate because it isn't great.
People are bending over backwards to make AI seem more useful than it is. Makes no sense at all. You can make a model like this that's more or less photoreal (unlike this one which holds up to almost no scrutiny) in the mid-distance using Hubert's methods in about the same amount of time, lol.
i agree with this (bonus points for ian hubert mention, hell yeah)
this ai tutorial seems convenient at first until you realise you can achieve a better result in half the time using a cube and the image of an existing store front
The fuck is an "EБSБ -22", even? I've never seen one of those.
More Blender stuff using Ai artwork. Good content! Thanks!
