Router separates two networks (when you connect one cable in WAN port and another in LAN port - those are the two networks). Access point is when you already have wired network and you want wireless network, so you connect your wifi "router" using cable and share the network via wifi. Bridge is for connecting two networks over wifi, so between those points, no other device can connect (in home network, pretty unusual).

I need to use the ASUS RT-N12, to physically extend the antenna’s wifi signal to reach our Blink camera for good connectivity. I’m using a Sierra Aircard 770s hotspot to do this which I have several of. The issue I’m having is that the router tries to connect, but gets kicked out after only a couple seconds. It just won’t stay connected. I’ve use another hotspot to do this to date, but I’m trying to eliminate one hotspot just for the camera application. Any ideas?

Ranjit bhai what's the difference between router vs access point vs bridge?
Router separates two networks (when you connect one cable in WAN port and another in LAN port - those are the two networks).
Access point is when you already have wired network and you want wireless network, so you connect your wifi "router" using cable and share the network via wifi.
Bridge is for connecting two networks over wifi, so between those points, no other device can connect (in home network, pretty unusual).
