My knowledge of this is limited to having taken one arduino class 6 years ago. My job requires me to have knowledge of Lora and I’m watching this while hiding in the bathroom trying to understand. This was a clear and insightful guide, thank you so much!
50kbps sounds like so little today. However, as long as you don't send images, audio or video 50kbps is limitless for controlling remote devices. You could still control hundreds of devices at the same time. The idea is to send as little as possible so that your sensors have insane battery life.
Useful in forest. A lot of motion sensors are placed to check the movement of the animals and manually it needs to be checked. With the help of it, data can be sent over to the control room even in harsh conditions.
Hey man brilliant video extremely informative and to the point. I never comment on videos but this deserves appreciation. Thank you and please keep up the good work.
Excellent! I was keep looking to get an answer why we need LoRa? Finally, I got this! You definitely deserve a big thanks from me, THANKS!! I think the only missing part was the protocol stack where (or in which layer) it is actually fit!!!
Great explanation. I'm looking forward to seeing more on your LoRa projects. I've just ordered a set of M5Stack Faces with LoRa modules. I want to make devices that will broadcast text messages to each other.
Very nice and clear information brother! One question please answer in YES and NO. Only!! 😊🙏🙏 The question is can we just interface any analog sensor like PIR without using any microcontroller..!??
Thank you for a great explanation of lora. I have been seeing lora videos and never knew about it. With your explanation, l am enlightened and started to think of possibility of applying this tech to my hobbies. Thanks again, all the best from Izmir/Turkey
what an EXCELLENT presentation, both in style, delivery and content. ur da best mate!! well done keep up the good werk, ur a star!! as a filmMaker id hire you as a presenter in a heart beat.
The explanation was done so exceptionally well that i even watched all the yt ads which is something i rarely ever do! And do you have any build tutorial videos for assembling these lora boards?
As a beginner, this is a good introduction. However, I have a question as such: What will happen when there are more than 2 IoT devices communicating with the 3rd IoT device at the same time? or the 2nd device starts transmitting while the 1st one is transmitting?
Your video and explanation were very nice. Including some details that I know, LoRa is only the physical layer, LoRaWAN defines the MAC layer for LoRa. You may have modules with built-in LoRaWAN stack or you may have to include one yourself. And there are different frequency bands, I think Asia is 923 MHz. It will be good if you include some more details like this, which will assist people who follow your video to make right purchase decision for their projects.

You remind me I hide in the portable at the job site watching a video about EMT pipe bending
You guys are good workers lol
@@SimEon-jt3sr fake it ‘till you make it. I’m still there now.
This is your boss. So you didn't know about LoRa and you pretended to know?
We can't have you continue to work for us.
I should have realized from the 20-minute long potty break you took and we all had to wait.

Exactly!
I remember upgrading my internet connection several times before getting to 50kbps.

Thanks man!
Me too, I even subscribed this channel
@@CETech4u bro pls do make a long range rc plane or drone with those transmitter and try flying it atleast to 45km or 25km range
@vtuboi look at erls. In fact it's LoRa. There are plenty of range test on youtube. For really long range you would need 900Mhz elrs modules.
In my opinion, you should make a video about the practical outdoor performance of LoRa and see if its really exciting in real usage scenario.
In my opinion you should make a video on how to invent click baits and get hits without any actual real content
This video was extremely helpful to me as a non-engineer. Keep up the good work man!

Perfect description about LORA.
Nice to hear from you again. Good theory we have to do it in practice. Nice video
Brilliant, I’m about to host Helium Hotspots and wanted a insight into LoRa and what a great explanation. Thank you 🙏
That’s why I’m here ...know if there’s a plug and play amplifier ?
I'm getting into that, expect videos about helium network starting from this weekend!

I agree with Carlo Grisafi, great video man, i need to do a project with a distance sensor, arduino, lora --> lora raspbery
Strange thing that comes to mind... using GPS and tracking animals on a farm. Raise simple towers to elevate the receivers for distance.
