Hi Ranjit. I have been watching your router reviews and I love how thorough you are. But I noticed you didn't talk about the range of this router. I was looking for a good dual band WiFi router with a good range. I wonder how the range of this device compares to the tp-link TL WR1043ND. Trying to get the best WiFi speeds and hoping to avoid the need of a repeater around the house. Which one of the two would you recommend in terms of speed, and then in terms of range. Is there a clear winner in both arras according to you?

Some times wifi is getting disabled i dont know what is the ereason ,but i think its due to more power getting to that socket which was connected to power plug?

I am currently using a belkin n150 router which supports only 2.4 GHz band. There is a lot of interference as I can see at least 5 to 6 WiFi networks of my neighbors.
So as suggested on your geekyranjitexplains channel, I have to move to 5 GHz band. But 5 GHz band doesn't have good range. I live in a 3 BHK so please suggest a 5Ghz router with great range. The router reviewed in this video would meet my requirements ?

Could someone please explain me one thing about this model? I found out in the specifications of it in section power: 12V DC, 1A - is that mean it can be e.g. used in RV or motorhome by just plugging it into the leisure battery directly without any inverters? If I understand the above correctly can you run this model also powered in the house with AC by using some special power adapter or sth ot it's only meant to be powered DC? thx

Ranjit, I have a Netgear N600 router but i need a repeater as well to get better signal throughout my house. The problem I am facing is that i want to share my external HD on the network as well and every repeater i am getting is not able to share the drive , can you please suggest a router which i can use as a repeater also share my external drive. +Rahul Thosar According to the TP-Link website, the model C20i is not a gigabit router, it supports up to 100 mbps (Mega Bit Per Second). On, the other hand, the router model TP-Link Archer C2 is a gigabit router, i.e., it supports 1000 mbps or 1 gbps. In my opinion, that is the main difference between the two routers except for the outward appearance. I hope this would answer to your query:)

Mehul Jain There are no simultaneous dual-band WiFi repeaters that I know of, there was one with Asus but even on that you have to select 2.4 Ghz or 5Ghz it does not extend both at the same time.

how can i know whether 5ghz band is working or not because every device(laptop ,android mobile) shows only tp-link2.4ghz ssid in its wifi covrage.
Sunny Parikh What Android Phone do you have only high end android phones and laptops support the WiFi AC 5Ghz band, also you have to enable the 5 Ghz band from the admin panel first.

Shubham Deshmukh Looks like you are using it with a ADSL connection like BSNL etc, if you need to change the MTU settings from the default of 1500 to 1460 or 1472 on your modem and that should solve it.
