If anyone remembers the international poster for Godzilla vs King Ghidorah, which was also the US VHS, DVD and Blu-ray cover, I think this figure most resembles the Godzilla featured in that image.
Seeing how far they came from thier first Heisei Release in late 2014 and to how they improved so much on the Sculpts later on is what makes this so sad to see them lose the license 2 years ago. :( But Hiya seems to be taking over from NECA though.
I feel like such a fool for not picking up this goji when I had the chance. Cuz I already had the 64 goji and I was super duper satisfied with him. But now I realize that 89 goji is an important goji to me as Godzilla vs Biollante was one of the first gojis movies I've ever watched. It was such an amazing design for neca to pick for their last gojis figures. Hope that something like neca 89 goji ever happens again so that I can be there.
NECA resale prices on eBay are pretty low rn. Now might be the best time. 👀 Regardless though, I’m very hopeful for another articulated 1989 Goji not from Bandai, myself. If Hiya ever branches out… hoooooo boy. It’s GAME.
Haven’t much touched the 2003’s in a while, but I remember really loving the segmented tail with the bendy wire at the tip of the tail, quite genius honestly.
@@ShinRobjira I tried to do the S curve on my Hyper Blast Goji but, it didn't work that well. Although I can bend the tail pretty good to have it curl around him so that's good enough I guess. Either way, Hyper Blast Goji is the favorite among my Neca Godzillas.

2024 thank god for hyia as they will release this look with two versions blue spikes and normal color one ,!!! I can’t wait still I have both these guys love them people are selling them to replace them with the hyia not me I want them all these guys neca are one of a kind and there value will jump up !!! Tails are very long nice detail maybe could of done better with heads still love them

My Sos Hyper Blast 2003 Godzilla has a pretty good articulated tail although I haven't tried giving it an S curved like yours.
