The perfect Godzilla for the perfect Gamera
You can actually fix the posture . All you have to do is clip that one spike at the very base of the tail and it allows the tail to move up much higher therefore fixing the posture

I have both. The atomic blast is my favorite by far. I wish SH Monster Arts didnt break the bank. I would love a more detailed version of this guy.
Yeah that GMK Heat Ray version from SHMA was NICE! Why they janked up the price simply for some paint… I’ll never understand. Big BRUHDAI moment.

The most mixed NECA Goji for me. Managed to get one that doesn't have too much pink, but every other copy is atrocious. That hunch is lame and no one should ever articulate this figure' legs. They are an actual pain. However, I still like the scuplt, the heft, and the green weathered paint as it makes him look ancient. And he's gmk goji, which is one of the coolest Godzilla suits ever.
I don’t think I’ve ever agreed this hard with a comment lol but it’s facts. MIXED is his MO. Great in some areas. Poor in others. I really wish when they went back to the drawing board with some of these releases they made articulating them a lot less painful. I’m taking a big ass break from NECAthon post 2014 triple review. My hands need simplicity lol
The hunch was part of the actual design on screen so that's not really a valid complaint.

Congratulations....you actually made me go to my shelves and examine my copies. My copy of the first release has similar issues with the nails, but not with the pink on the jaws. Also, the blotches are only really visible with close inspection on mine. Maybe i got lucky...?
Seems many people got lucky in regards to QC, which is both a good and bad thing lol good, because I’m glad not everyone got stiffed like I did, bad because WHY’D IT HAPPEN AT AALLLLLLL 😭😭😭
The jaw and claws paint job is probably to represent blood like on the movie when he bites Ghidorah

If you just google GMK Godzilla, every single picture is hunchbacked so they were just going for an accurate model. It's not like it was on accident or something.

We could only hope for Hiya Toho monsters. Now that they’re shipping worldwide and are restocking older releases maybe that means they’ll have a better shot at making those Toho Iterations.

I love the head, but I wish this version had some pupils in the eyes and the pointy ears some of the Showa Era Godzillas had.
Hey robjira, what overall rating would you give to the toho figures sh monsterarts made? (Except for the price ofc)
I have the Re-issue normal GMK and he is waayyyy better, much less sloppy and not very green. Only problem is slight pink coming off of the lower jaw, but overall he seems much much better then your unfortunate copy ☠
Edit: Only odd bit is that the re-issues tail is actually even worse, the tail has only 2 solid bits and the rest is even MORE bendy wire and mine broke 😭
Seems this poor guy was cursed no matter the release, if it ain’t paint, it’s something else lol very unfortunate but, what can ya do?
Maybe one day when hell freezes over, NECA could fix that lol

For me the NECA gmk figure has the articulation in the NECA Godzilla figures
If u didn’t know, his neck and the tail can actually move side to side.
Man i think you just got the short end of the stick woth your regular release, which is a a shame. Mine got no pink om the jaw and on the claws is much more muted, looks more like weathering
From the looks of some comments, it seems I did lol I hadn’t seen a none-pink’d up NECA GMK once and now everyone’s telling it they exist lol what a bummeeerrrr
I have the shell box which is different color darker grey almost black his gums are only think that stand out he's alittle smaller then the blue one I have which I got the neca box he's good and stands very good taller then the guy
Definitely check out sh monster arts version it is somehow better than what you see in the movie
I bought the atomic blast version and my copy has only 3 segments at the tail
