MY PENBBS HAUL | INKING A BULK FILLER 355

I made a few mistakes in the pens' designation numbers and resin color names. The 355 pen that I inked is a bulk filler, not a touchdown filler. Also, it has a round medium nib, not a fine. Following is a list of the pens in this video.

• 500 Southshore- springy rod filling- REF nib
• 495 Silence- piston filler- F nib

One of my favorite PenBBS models, but also a tricky filling system to use (let alone demonstrate on camera). I recently posted a video showing how to fill any modern pen, and this was the most complex in my collection. Just an FYI, you are supposed to keep the nib over the ink bottle while pushing the rod back into the pen, as this will displace some volume.

Yes, it was my first time inking a bulk filler and I didn't anticipate the displacement of some ink, when replacing the rod. I've since found out, that it is a normal occurrence with this filling system. But that's how we learn, right? These Penbbs pens are challenging me, in a good way. Thanks for the comments and suggestion.
