  • @gfbvideos

    Hey all!
Just came across this video and all the comments saying it's a counterfeit valve.
First of all, thank you all for being so vigilant and well informed about the tell-tale signs of a counterfeit valve.
In this case however it does appear that the valve is in fact genuine. This video is from 2013 so this must have been one of the very first DV+ valves we manufactured. Originally we did use that style packaging which is why when you see a counterfeit product it looks like that. When they copied the parts that's what they looked like, and they haven't updated them.
If you see a new valve in 2022 that looks like that though, it's definitely a counterfeit!

+Andres Razo ok, im going to try explain with a very little tech in my head ie im no expert. with a normal diverter valve the build up of pressure takes a bloody long time for the pressure to release and therefore you cant really get going as fast as you wanted , or even slow down and then get going again simply because the spoil would need to catch up. how ever with this device in the video it releases the build up much faster, the build quality is apparently far superior leading to longer life and because of the build quality it leads to no leaks . so with no leaks, quicker release of the built op pressure means you can be as fast when you want how you want (obviously within the spec of the car)
