Starfield is an upcoming action role-playing game developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks.It was announced during Bethesda's E3 presentation in 2018.[4] The game takes place in a space-themed setting, and is the first new intellectual property developed by Bethesda in 29 years. It is scheduled to release for Windows and Xbox Series X/S on September 6, 2023, with the early access release receiving generally favorable reviews.
Gameplay
Starfield is an action role-playing video game. Players can switch between a first-person and third-person perspective any time in the game. Starfield features an open world in the form of an area within the Milky Way galaxy, containing both fictional and non-fictional planetary systems, with players being able to land on more than 1,000 planets and an unspecified number of moons and space stations. The majority of the landscapes within the game were procedurally generated; they were subsequently modified and handcrafted content was developed around them. The game will generate the terrain and the alien flora and fauna of a planet depending on the star of its system and its atmosphere, as well as locations of interest as the player approaches a planet.The largest city in the game, New Atlantis, is the largest fictional city Bethesda has developed. As the player explores the game world, they will encounter various non-playable characters (NPCs), some of whom may join the player's crew. Such NPCs may aid the player in combat, carry items, or during confrontations, speak to other NPCs on the player's behalf. Some may comment on choices the player makes. The player may station crew members at any of their constructed outposts. Each companion character has their own unique skills and abilities. Some recruitable NPCs are able to be romanced by the player.
Setting
Starfield is set in an area that extends outward from the Solar System for approximately 50 light-years called the Settled Systems. Around the year 2310, the two largest factions in the game, the United Colonies and Freestar Collective, engaged in a conflict called the Colony War. The game takes place 20 years after the war, with the major factions enjoying an uneasy peace. The player assumes the role of a customizable character who is a member of Constellation, an organization of space explorers.
Development
Starfield is the first new intellectual property (IP) by Bethesda Game Studios in over twenty-five years, and has been described by director Todd Howard as "Skyrim in space".[18][5] The studio had been delving into space-themed games since as early as 1994, according to Howard. They had acquired the rights to make a game based on the Traveller role-playing system, but shortly lost them. Their Delta V game in 1994 had been part of this Traveller license but had not been fully realized.[5] The 10th Planet was a cancelled space combat game from which the atmosphere of Starfield was derived. Howard stated they had rights to Star Trek in the 2000s and he pitched an idea for a role-playing game in that setting, but this failed to be approved.
While Bethesda had wanted to do a science-fiction game for some time and had strong ideas for its gameplay style, it took a while to cement the ideas behind Starfield that would distinguish it from other science-fiction games already released. They came onto a theme which lead artist Istvan Pely dubbed "NASA punk", that although set in humanity's future, used technology that can be traced to origins in various National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) space missions. Bethesda's team began writing a fictional narrative of events by decade of the approximately 300 years from development to the game's present, in order to ask "And now man is living amongst the stars: what does that mean?", according to Howard.

Its a decent ship but its class A. Let me tell you how to get a class C Vanguard. Go to Proxima Ternion planet ( east on the stars map, far to the right), land at Proxima Ternion 3 and walk on the planet until you see ships landing around you and at that moment you rush to it and hope its the UC class C Voyager. Obviously, you have to have the skills to piloting it - so piloting rank 4. Sadly, I got mine after buying the Narwal so fate messing around with me :). Its a nice area to level up while walking around, tons of exp from the local fauna. Good luck!
That's a goo tip. I will definetly give that a go:) I am just level 30,so I didn't dare to go to a more distant planet .
@@mraftergames Ive abandoned the main quest at level 3 and didnt got back ever since. Did the Mantis quest at lev 4 and rogue exploring planets ever since. As long as you have a good weapon, you can go to any planet to farm those sweet lev 50+ elites. And keep the good legendary weapons bases. Once you'll unlock all the weapons engineering modules upgrade, it's a different game
Can you be more precise on the location of that Vanguard ship. I was on the planet but couldn't find it. I was at the civial outpost and the abandoned farm,but nothing . travelled through the dinosaurs and all.

@@RandomZeroGravity It's not random, there's multiple landing sites across the map, it'll be at one of them, I found it on the second furthest site from the main landing site where you land.
It’s a level A class ship you don’t need any pilot skill to fly it , Max pilot skill is for level c ships.

@@mraftergamesso that’s why it won’t work! Makes sense. I have got some nice Vangaurd loot murdering the every dimensions version of that pilot! Do you have to be finished with quest line or just enrolled?
Every time I come across this ship someone is in the cockpit trying to repair it. Neither killing him or trying to pilot it works. I’ve come across this same ship 5 times now.
Hey,you need to level up your piloting skills. You can do it fast like I did here: ruclips.net/video/VpSlapfVOMU/видео.html . After you maxed out Piloting you can take the ship:)
@@mraftergames as someone else already mentioned - it's a class A ship, so maxing out your piloting skill shouldn't be required to pilot it.
I think you need to join the Vanguard in order to take the ship
1 I've already joined the vanguard 2 I'm maxed out on my piloting skills and 3 there was a dude fixing it in the cockpit. So I dunno. This ship landed on the Luna (moon) sol system for me and I can't even get it. It won't let me fly it.
@@Arefear i tried killing the pilot and it didnt work so i reloaded, went and got my pilot rank up, joined the vanguard. now the pilot is gone and can't enter the ship anymore. fkn lame lol
Planets are procedurally generated. People will most likely have different things on their planets. Some things are hand crafted but a lot of it will be AI generated.
You are right,but sometimes planets will allign.
Oh yeah I was just saying for the individuals such as myself that don't have the same stuff on their planets.
for me this shop was the closest thing on Kret. the first moon you land on to kill the pirates that attacked you in space after leaving the mines. couldn't steal it through and if you get off it flies off.

I came across this ship near the beginning of the game and thought the best way to get the ship was to murder the captain with a safety axe. This, of course, didn't work...thanks for the info!

It's Class A... Maxing out your pilot skill won't change anything.
Can't see the ship walked every where can not see it
Hi buddy. You need to see it after you hear the bang and you look on the sky. If that doesn't happen re-load or land in a different spot. Hope this helps!

That means your ship flying skill is too low

Found one on Kreet, the planet/moon you get to in the very beginning.
Have not taken it so cannot say if it lets me fly it.

You are incorrect. the ship that was there was the UC Vanguard Longsword and I could not take it. I am level 100, piloting and most skills at MAX.
I think it was available once the game was released,probably they patched it already
I had a UC Vanguard Raptor just swoop down almost right on top of my head, with an annoying brat captain as the only crew, moaning about repairs you cannot help her with... It's almost as if the game just wants me to kill her and have the ship for free!!

If it lands, do *not* enter, fly away somewhere, sleep, fly back, then enter the ship. Captain will be gone, and it's yours for the taking.

I just started the UC Vanguard storyline. What do you mean by build phase?
Up date i have found a uc raptor in space got on board took out the 4 crew and was able to claim ship but still cant claim ones on planets with captains inside

Don't enter the ship right after it lands. Fly away somewhere, sleep, come back, and when you enter it, it should be empty and you should be able to take it.
Instead of this ship for some reason a star born guardian was in it's place

Petite mise à jour. C'est mon premier jeu. Je suis au milieu de la quête Vanguard. Je me suis posé sur venus vers un centre de recherche. Quand le menu sortir/se lever apparaît, sauvegarde. Je suis sorti, premier vaisseau exliptic cutlass 😅. Recharger la sauvegarde. Uc raptor. Je suis allé pour découvrir le lieu sur la map mais je ne suis pas rentré à l'intérieur. Retour à jemison où j'ai dormi 5x 24h. Ensuite retour sur venus. J'ai refait le trajet jusqu'au Raptor en marchant. Je suis monté dedans, appareil vide, assis au commandes en portant l'uniforme de l'avant -garde, tout ok, décollage et gravjump dans le système wolf, ensuite je l'ai enregistré. C'est comme ça que ça a fonctionné. Mais pour mon deuxième perso, tout pareil excepté la planète et le fait que ce personnage n'est pas de l'avant-garde, impossible de voler.
La planète ne change rien, ce qui impact la génération des vaisseaux c'est le niveau du système ainsi que la difficulté jouer, plus c'est dure et plus tu as de chance que de gros vaisseaux apparaisse mais aussi que des combats spatiales se déclenche. En gros si tu veut de bon vaisseau, joue difficulté au max et va dans les système avec les plus haut niveau, tu y trouve des pépites.
This seems to be somwhet random.. iv tried searching as lvl 14 and later in ng+ as lvl 40 its not here for me..

All uc ship are locked now but I was able to find a normal Raptor and painted it uc colours
Pisses me off that they did this I finally got lucky and got the UC Vanguard Raptor to land
@@GrievousReborn I have had loads but all locked seats I been farming ships by making sure u see the Yr ship land and as u exit it should save if and when a ship lands just reload to change the ships

I'm having troubles with this. I've done the first quest "Grunt Work" and I have the full space suit, helmet and booster pack on. I went to the ship the first time and talked you the captain and had Vanguard dialogue with him and I was still not able to pilot the ship. I left the system and came back and now it says it's says "inaccessible". Do I have to finish the entire Vanguard quest line or what?
I believe you need to finish the Crimsonfleet storyline(Legacy's End) or the Vanguard storyline. I finished the Crimson fleet one

I don't have a UC Raptor spawn on that, it's a Ecliptic Stiletto (I already have that) Is this a random spawn or do you all get Raptor spawn?

@mraftergames I saved the game and reload the spot twice, it spawn different ship everything, I have had a falcon spawn and another with a spacer ship I had. Both class B ship

You can just sell it to the ship services at New Atlantis then buy it back then glitch under the map to get your credits back from the chest.
