I had to check the playback speed to make sure this wasn't playing at 1.5x speed! Crispy clean!

Absolutely man! What kind of guitar are you picking? Looked like a nice one you had there. Sorry I didn’t introduce myself that night, hope we get to meet again in the future! I’ll sub to your channel!

@@BluegrassRules101 Thanks man! I’m playing my Dad’s Custom Hayes. It’s built by a guy named Rick Hayes in Ohio. Brazilian rosewood back/sides and an Adirondack top I believe. Really beautiful guitar. love picking the thing

Should be "Maddie Denton" on fiddle. One of my fave fiddlers right now.

Thanks Craig, Maddie is a friend, I definitely didn’t notice I had misspelt that until you said something.

Looks like Josh Werner sitting on guitar also. Great picker ... they never let him pick one ??? That's a shame!

Was that a B tune or a C tune - couldn't make out the capo fret on the banjo exactly. Whatever, nice jam.

    • @zdenekjelinek1648

      I think B

    • @centerice

That was in the key of B. "B" for Bluegrass. Never has a music sounded so good in a specific key. Sure there are other keys that certain songs sound good in, but "B major" gives Bluegrass its "signature sound" and an energy that is highly addictive. A song that sounds ok in G, will sound much better in A. But it will be a blockbuster up in the key of B! It'll almost seem like a different song. Along those lines, if you're a male with a tenor voice who can sing in the key of B (effortlessly without straining), you've got it made in Bluegrass. Such singers are relatively rare, and always in demand.

Nice playin', though I wish banjo's would stop rolling when the guitar has solo! Just no room left for a poor guitar.
