    Cassiy, you are taking POD content to a whole new level. No one talks about this! Thank you so much. All older videos about POD and dropshipping are just guys screaming that it's effortless side hustle, you don't have to use pretty fonts or trendy graphics, just put generic pizza quotes etc. etc and rarely go into details inviting to their superficial e course right away. Well, maybe this would fly in 2016, but not today. You, on other hands, order actual samples and show it here, share hoy you actually design in Canva and many more!

    Thank you for all the information, because of you I started my print on demand I was curious before but after seeing videos of you I decided to start. I stared with mugs 2 week ago 1 sale so far but it is something slowly I'm putting more. I already have a etsy shop and since sales are very low I'm trying something different.

    Miss Cassiy, thank you so much for all the RUclips content you offer us. I've downloaded and am getting through your very helpful start up guide too. One question when you mention you that you let customers know there are no returns/exchanges but they can reach out and you'll be happy to make it right... What if the problem is not due to any fault by Printify, or your design? They just have buyers regret, or decide they don't like it for some random reason. Do you have any sort of prepared response for these folks?

    Girl, you have no idea how I've been waiting for this video. You got a new subscriber! . Btw, printify's web page says that their maximum pixels is 2,300 x 2,300 so if a do a canva design of 5,000 x 5,000 is printify going to accept the resolution or not? Sending you lots of love❤️

      Each item you look at on Printify will have a different recommended print size but once you upload your png, you can drag it to be larger or small depending on where you want the design!

    Hi Cassiy, your videos are always so clear and helpful. I'm have a brand new etsy shop and I just got my first sale yesterday! I have one question, when you say that you have the customer pay for the cost of exchanging the item, they are essentially buying another product. Do you ever get complaints from them, saying that the return should be free, and they shouldn't be charged anything?

I watched this video, very informative THANK YOU! but I was wondering if you offer a tutorial on how to go in and make the price difference for a specific item? Also, do I calculate the price based on my "on sale" price or the original price? I hope to hear from you! I love your videos!

    Your videos are just so awesome and informative. Everyone loves you because you are just so open and honest. I watch your videos over and over everyday. I have some questions about your example of the person wanting to exchange his large shirt for a medium size. What happens to the original large shirt after he purchases the medium? Does he keep the shirt or return it? Who processes the refund? And, who pays for the shipping if he has to return it? Sorry I have so many questions.

      I like the just let them keep the original item. That’s why I just have them pay the cost I would pay for the new item. You could have them ship the item back to you first, then send the new item and have them pay shipping but that just seems like a hassle and a waste because then you have to worry about doing something with the old shirt. I’d rather not deal with that if that makes sense!

    Hi Cassiy! I love your videos and I am happy I can get tips from you.
    I have a current issue with a customer. A person ordered two of my posters and she ordered two more of the same posters an hour later. Everything was paid for and Printify has already started printing before I woke up :). I wrote a message to thank for buying all four posters.
    Today the person wrote that she ordered two of the posters and got duplicates (she actually made two orders). And another issue is that the posters were cut off at the top (she sent me a photo). The thing is that I sell posters in different sizes, only the ones in proportion 2:3 are fully printed and the rest are delicately trimmed to fit, but not leave the customer unsatisfied (I don't cut off the heads of the people on the poster ;)). And all that is written in every description of my posters, so that people who order know what to expect.
    I have already got 5 star reviews on some of the posters that weren't in the 2:3 proportion. And now this person wants a refund.
    What do you think I should do? Thank you.

    My customer claimed size mislabeling and sent a photo of shirt but was SO offended when I asked them (per my print shop) to send it with tape measurement. Lol! You are right, can't win them all. I figured my shop is so new, it was worth it to just refund my customer, rather than have the threat of a negative review. I am ready for the future success!! Claiming it and working hard. :)

      Sorry that happened to you!! Now you know next time there is any issue at all like that to ask for the measurement picture right from the beginning! And anytime I refund a customer, I also just cancel their order. That way they only have 3 days to leave a review and after that they can't!

      Hi Villy! I ran Pinterest ads once but didn't really see any success from them. I have run Etsy ads in the past plenty of times but only when I already have best sellers or really good sellers that I am just trying to promote even more. You want to get good at SEO and Designs first so you can get organic traffic from Etsy. This is the biggest plus to Etsy, is that they bring so much free organic traffic. So figure out how to do well without ads first and THEN try Etsy ads and you will be a lot more successful!

    Hi Cassiy, thank you so much for all of your videos. How do you set up a link for replacement orders to your customer if they order a wrong size?

      I just change the price of the new size they want to purchase in the original listing and have them purchase it. Then I change the price back once they are finished. You could also just create a listing with Etsy that has just a picture that says "replacement order" or "custom order" that you change the price of anytime someone orders. You would create this by going to Etsy and pushing "create listing" and make it fully custom there. then once they order, you would go to your "other orders" tab on printify and select the item they would like.

    6:34 entirely, you should give a single use discount code, so they have the chance to give it to their friend along with the extra shirt, better yet, split the discount into 2, one for the repurchase and one for extra

    I have one question about trademarks though that's been worrying me for a while now - for an example, "Wifey" is trademarked for shirts, but could I still put something like "New Wifey" on a shirt? Or is the trademark only in play if I put "Wifey" alone? I realize I should probably be asking a lawyer for legal advice, of course, but hoping you could share your experiences. Thanks!

      I wish I had the right answer for you, I just avoid using trademarked words at all just in case. Unless it's something super common like "thankful"

      I have Printify address on the label because I do not want customers to have my address. If printify sends a replacement, then the customer gets to keep the original item!

    Hello Cassiy, I’ve been watching your videos and finally opened my Etsy shop. Yaayyyy!!!Am so excited!! Am looking add my second listing and a lil bit confused with how to use print providers on Printify. So if am looking to list a design but the print provider I want to use does not have one of the shirt colors l want to sell my design with. Can I choose multiple providers for 1 design?       Congrats on getting started Abigail!! I'd try to use just one printer as much as possible because If a customer orders two items, they will be confused when they get shipped separate so you have to remember to see if they are printed by the same people or not and then let them know if they are coming separate. But to do what you are talking about, I would list the colors you want from one provider and then list the other colors by the second print provider in a totally separate listing.

    Hi Cassiy. Thank you for this information! When you send them the new link with the discounted price how does that work exactly? Do you mention to them that the link is valid for a short time? It seems like I'd have to do that so I could set a reminder to go back and change the price. I appreciate all your help!

      So yes I would change the price of just the one variant and send them the URL link to the listing. You just open that listing up in a new page on your computer and just copy and paste the search bar info into a message for them. Then just once you see the order comes through, which normally is pretty quick, then just change the price back.
      I also send all messages I am done with to the archive, that way the only message in my inbox, are things I need to follow up on later.

    Hi love your work. Im still in the prosess of getting going. Then relized i probably have some kind of return and exchange policy in place. I love this video because it treats the customer as a human and not just a number. I just wanna clarify about the section where you send an message to the customer and instruct to clik on the link to the listing.     Thanks Cassiy! Another great video. I am curious about how to create the link for the discounted shirt.....where you talked about someone needing a different size so you create a link for them to get a shirt at your cost. Are you able to create a link that's specific for that customer?

      Hello! So what I normally do is just discount the item in the size they want to buy only, to the discounted price. Then I just make sure to change the price back after they purchase. You could also make a manual listing starting in Etsy by pushing "create new listing" and add a photo to the thumbnail that just says "custom order". Then you go to "other orders" on Prinitfy and tell them which item in which size the person wanted. Hope that makes sense!

      So sorry Brahim, I am not sure why they are not showing! Maybe they are just on one of the last pages? I'd make sure the listing shows as active in your listings page and if it still doesn't show, I'd reach out to Etsy.

I heard on a Facebook group that it takes time to be indexed, especially, if the niche is overcrowded which is the case for me.     Thanks so much for the video! I just got my first low review about the shirt printing being faded….40 days after delivery. Obviously they cannot get a replacement…how would you handle? Refund?     Thanks for the great video. What do you do if a customer has the wrong shipping address and it get returned because of bad address. Do you charge them to reship it? I am going through that right now.

      Yes I do, if the address was correct then they just need to pay for the reshipping. So you can create a custom listing for them to purchase. Just go to Create Listing, and add a picture that says something like "Custom Order" or "Order Add on" or "reshipping fee" etc. And make it a physical product and add your price for shipping. Now when the new item gets shipping, you get an email and can copy that tracking number into that listing so they get a copy of the tracking number.

    Hello! I love all your videos Cassiy! I just opened my own print on demand shop and all your videos are very helpful. But I have a question, I know this video is 6 months old at this point, but when you did the example to have the customer just pay the difference for the new size how did you go about doing that? I imagine you didnt change the price in your live listing seeing others could take advantage of that so how would you do that?

      You could do this by creating a listing with just a photo that says “custom order” or “replacement order”, or just change only that size/color in the listing for them to purchase. It’s not super likely someone would buy it at the exact same time. Whatever works best for you!

    How do you go about a customer having made two orders by accident when they meant to only order one and they have asked for a refund for one of them but it's too late to cancel on Printify. Also my policy states no cancellation after one hour. Thank you and love your videos!

      Sorry this happened to you Shay! I in that situation would just ask the print provider to either not ship the item and give me back the shipping fee or have them send it to my house instead. I just always try to give the customer really great service. Especially if it's not shipped yet, then the customer just won't understand and will think you are just not being helpful. Up to you though since it does state that you don't take cancellations so you are well within your right to deny them a refund.

      I'm in a similar situation, but the product is already in production and the customer requested a refund. Originally, it was written that refunds were not possible, but it was still in the early stages, so I was afraid of bad reviews, so I just refunded it.
      I asked the printing partner not to just ship it, but to return the shipping cost. However, the printing partner said that it is not possible to refund only the shipping cost because production has already been entered.
      I use Printful. Does Printify refund shipping costs in this case? I'm a bit depressed because I've lost quite a bit...

    Thank you, Cassiy. Besides the how-to I truly appreciate the mindset and encouragement you put in there for us. I am launching a store with a high price point ($74) and No Returns or Exchanges because I do believe the reasons you list make total sense and I do not want to receive items I myself would not be able to resell, etc. Plus the fact that I don't want my home address out there. Do you foresee any issues with a new store having challenges getting customers with no return for items? I figure this scenario has been thousands of times and succeeded... just was curious about your thoughts on this. Thank you again.

      I think for a higher price point you may get less conversions overall with this policy potentially but it's hard to say. Most people understand that Etsy is a platform of small businesses and not big corporations and seem to be really understanding when it comes to returns/exchanges! Best of luck!
