Cassiy, I created a group shirt listing after watching this video a couple of months ago. Just got a sale for 14 shirts and wanted to come back and say thank you for explaining the process!
Man, I wish I had known how to make group shirt listings before I actually did! I made the listing on Printify first. Sounds so much easier to start it in Etsy!

Thanks for this. How do you erase part of the design when placing designs on mockups without using Photoshop? Is there a way to do this in Canva? This is something I struggle with when trying to place designs in the perfect spot, especially on the back of a hoodie if the hoodie comes to low and I want part of the design under the back of the hoodie to make it look more real.

I have one more question - now that Monster scales down for Small and Medium bella 3001 as well as other products, how do you size your design in the mockup generator? I noticed you eyeballed the design and sized it down but how does that work if your shirt is set up to automatically fulfill? Do any of your customers who ordered Medium or Small shirts find their design is too small after you have scaled it down - and then Monster scaled it down again? I know this doesn't affect Large sizes and above, but I had a customer receive a tiny little design on a small shirt right after Monster (in January) decided to start scaling down and I didn't know about it. Wondering how you scale so your customers are getting consistent designs sizes on shirts? Do you have a formula or a guideline you use? Thanks!!!
@@eternity6615 That's a good question, I usually make my designs on the medium/large side in comparison to a small design and just eyeball it so it looks like it would go past the neck opening on both sides and call it good. I have never had anyone get a tiny design before/complain. I'd say if you are worried about it, just make the design a littler bigger than you think you need too!

I would love to see a video on how you handle shipping for group listings. I am thinking about doing a set shipping profile (for instance Swift POD $4.75) plus $2.00 for each additional item...but I could off base. Thanks again!
So glad you are enjoying my videos ❤️ there are lots of ways to do the shipping but my best advice to you when trying to decide how to do anything with your business is to make your decisions based on research! Go find 10 bestselling group shirt listings and see how most of them are doing their pricing! This is the best way to make sure what you are trying has a great chance for success! Best of luck
Hi Cassiy, you start making a listing in ETSY FIRST for all CUSTOMIZED listings then? I see how this keeps YOUR OWN head straight in sorting the options WHILE making the custom listings.
Yes for custom listings like group or personalized listings, you need to start on Etsy instead of Printify because Printify doesn't give you the option of listing multiple item types in one listing. Hope this tutorial helps!

I've heard Jarran say that in the group (which I think you were probably in), they would do challenges of posting 50/day!!! Not sure if that's a real number or if it's after days of prep to get there, but i'd love a video on efficiencies in posting. LOVE.
Yes I was in the mentorship group for a year and have definitely done 50+ listings in a day! I'd be happy to make a video about this. I'll have to think on the best way to make it since I don't share my personal shop. I appreciate the idea!!

I don't know if this is true but I heard a story about someone who logged into peoples accounts to help with SEO, and one of the people got a trademark infringement and because they had been logged into at same IP address before, it caused issues for them.
Could u do a video showing how to have options for sweatshirt, unisex long sleeve and t shirt, youth and baby one piece in the Etsy drop down on option..how do we do that with printify instead of just having one kind-just T shirts 🤷

I think each design would be set up in Printify as individually then you advertise in Etsy as group, but make sure I link the SKU# to help Printify know which shirt?

Is the initial shipping plus additional shipping fees charged or is it shipping per item? Let’s say they order a onesie, a kid shirt and two adult shirts, since the additional item is not the same product, how does shipping work? Thank you again, your information is invaluable!
Cassiy Im having a tough time figuring this out. I created a couples shirt with slightly different words. But I want the two shirts to be a available in white, natural and grey colored t shirts. Can you explain in more detail how to add the same colors to the two shirts on Printify?
Very well explained. Last fall I was making group Xmas shirts and spent dayyyys pouring over other people’s listings trying to figure out how they listed group shirts with so many variations 😳 I do wish Etsy allowed more than 2 variants on a listing!

I wouldn't recommend doing digital and physical products within one store like that. I think visually it might be confusing and then you are also showing say your bestselling shirts right next to a mockup for sale to a person who is also trying to create bestselling shirts. I would do these two items in separate stores. If you sell say shirts, sweatshirts, mugs and tote bags, then I would do it all in one shop.

Hi Cassiy, Great video! I'm very new to POD. My questions are regarding shipping rates for the group items. With an order of different adult and baby sizes would there be any shipping savings for the customer (let's say they go through 1 printer)? Or, shirts with design variations within a group listing - what would the shipping rate look like? TY
Etsy offers sellers an option to use "Free Shipping Over $35" which makes things simple especially for group purchases. Just be sure to build in the shipping cost (per your preferred print provider) into your price.
Thank you for this video! One thing I'm still unclear on is how to create the shipping profile for the group listing. Do you create it on Printify first? I'm not sure how that would work for each different item though. Or do you create the shipping profile on Etsy first?

Boy, this one is complicated. I'm still in the dark about how Printify and Etsy interface. I seems I have a shop on Etsy and also a shop on Printify. Is that right? I have linked Printify to my Etsy Shop. But I have to create my shirts on both sites, don't I? How do I know when I am done? When an Etsy order comes in, do I have to go over to Printify and handle that by hand? Does it all go through automatically, so that I just click "OK"? That's a lot of questions. Perhaps you have a video specifically about this? Please help, because I am in a hard spot on the learning curve.

I was using the Go Daddy Studio App, that app has a "masking tool" that you can erase little bits with. I didn't realize Canva doesn't have that or I would have mentioned it. Currently I still make all my mockups on the Godaddy studio app, and make my designs now on Canva.
Hi Cassiy, how does it work if the products are from different providers? So they have therefore different shipping prices? Does this info also sync with printify? I am afraid is confusing for the customer… Also when i create a listing ib etsy i can only select one shipping profile. Thanks in sdvance for your comments
Cassiy, not sure if I ask this question here. I have one design on a tumbler but have a different text on each tumbler, Bride,Bridesmaid,etc. I would like to do a group listing but not sure which one of the 3 methods I should use. Any advice?

Hi Cassiy, Great video! I'm very new to POD. My questions are regarding shipping rates for the group items. With an order of different adult and baby sizes would there be any shipping savings for the customer (let's say they go through 1 printer)? Or, shirts with design variations within a group listing - what would the shipping rate look like? TY

Etsy offers sellers an option to use "Free Shipping Over $35" which makes things simple especially for group purchases. Just be sure to build in the shipping cost (per your preferred print provider) into your price.

No the prices only matter in Etsy, you never need to go back and edit the prices within Printify!

Thank you for this video! One thing I'm still unclear on is how to create the shipping profile for the group listing. Do you create it on Printify first? I'm not sure how that would work for each different item though. Or do you create the shipping profile on Etsy first?

I want to create a multiple item or bundle listing for one listing, just like i saw others sell 2 or 3 pcs wall art in one listing alone, wondered how they do it, I thought they wer not using POD and just create and sell their own items

HI, thank you for such informative videos! Question for you, the 3rd example you gave, you didn't do the SKU's for each color and size of shirt...is this something that is ok with printify? I'm new to this and trying to figure it all out. So the customer would order and it would just go to the "other orders" on Printify? Thanks for any help!

I would use Godaddystudio or photopea to do that, I might make a tutorial in the future but you might be able to find one in the meantime!

Also, I've seen in some other videos where you "link photos" to certain color shirts. Again, I don't seem to have that option. Boy, this one is complicated. I'm still in the dark about how Printify and Etsy interface. I seems I have a shop on Etsy and also a shop on Printify. Is that right? I have linked Printify to my Etsy Shop. But I have to create my shirts on both sites, don't I? How do I know when I am done? When an Etsy order comes in, do I have to go over to Printify and handle that by hand? Does it all go through automatically, so that I just click "OK"?
That's a lot of questions. Perhaps you have a video specifically about this?

I tired to do it for my shop but im have a bit of trouble. I am not sure what im doing wrong. I have even tried to look up different videos and no one seems to have a sloution yet. Another great video. Very well explained. I do have a question, what did you use to erase the portion of the design so it doesn't show? It was on the mockup of three shirts? Thank you
I was using the Go Daddy Studio App, that app has a "masking tool" that you can erase little bits with. I didn't realize Canva doesn't have that or I would have mentioned it. Currently I still make all my mockups on the Godaddy studio app, and make my designs now on Canva.
Hi Cassiy, how does it work if the products are from different providers? So they have therefore different shipping prices? Does this info also sync with printify? I am afraid is confusing for the customer… Also when i create a listing ib etsy i can only select one shipping profile. Thanks in sdvance for your comments
Cassiy, not sure if I ask this question here. I have one design on a tumbler but have a different text on each tumbler, Bride,Bridesmaid,etc. I would like to do a group listing but not sure which one of the 3 methods I should use. Any advice?
What software app are you using in this video? Is that Go Daddy studio or Canva? I have a Canada pro account and I downloaded the app, but I have not figured out how to use the app on my phone. It would be great if you made a video about this. Thanks ahead of time!
