Cassiy, I created a group shirt listing after watching this video a couple of months ago. Just got a sale for 14 shirts and wanted to come back and say thank you for explaining the process!
Man, I wish I had known how to make group shirt listings before I actually did! I made the listing on Printify first. Sounds so much easier to start it in Etsy!
Cassiy, I just wanted to say thank you for all of the content you put out to help people with POD on Etsy. I have been watching your videos, buying your mock ups, niche calendar, and expense report. You have helped tremendously in making this a simpler, and more enjoyable, process. You are by far the most informative and helpful person I have found on the topic. Any time I have a question, I find that you've already posted a video with the answer! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience!
Very helpful and I really appreciate your to the point, no gimmick style! You are very concise with information and don’t waste time with unnecessary fluff.
You are So Helpful with all your videos ,,, very detailed, informational, knowledge, laid out in a simplified way, I'm going to try my hand at this Etsy thing, following all your online lessons, wish me luck and thank you in advance if I become successful.
Cassiy, Thanks for the great info! My wife and I started our POD business about a month ago. We are learning new things each day. We love the POD business and all the opportunities it has in store for us.
Awesome video! Also, if you click on the checkbox in the top left of variations, you can update the quantities and prices for all your listings at once. A small time saver that can add up!
I'm relatively new to POD 4 months into my journey and I am still learning new skills and whatnot. This is a great video but I don't know if I'm ready to take on this challenge. This is a lot of work. I'm gonna review all this again and see if I can make this happen. Thank you Cassiy.
Thank you!!! I'm so glad you stated a channel I'm so excited!!! Can you do a tutorial on how to create hats in Printify - how to create the design template, etc., and mugs too! Thank you, love your video!!
@@CassiyJohnson Thank you so much Cassiy, I can't wait!! I have one more question - now that Monster scales down for Small and Medium bella 3001 as well as other products, how do you size your design in the mockup generator? I noticed you eyeballed the design and sized it down but how does that work if your shirt is set up to automatically fulfill? Do any of your customers who ordered Medium or Small shirts find their design is too small after you have scaled it down - and then Monster scaled it down again? I know this doesn't affect Large sizes and above, but I had a customer receive a tiny little design on a small shirt right after Monster (in January) decided to start scaling down and I didn't know about it. Wondering how you scale so your customers are getting consistent designs sizes on shirts? Do you have a formula or a guideline you use? Thanks!!!
@@eternity6615 That's a good question, I usually make my designs on the medium/large side in comparison to a small design and just eyeball it so it looks like it would go past the neck opening on both sides and call it good. I have never had anyone get a tiny design before/complain. I'd say if you are worried about it, just make the design a littler bigger than you think you need too!
Hi Cassiy, you start making a listing in ETSY FIRST for all CUSTOMIZED listings then? I see how this keeps YOUR OWN head straight in sorting the options WHILE making the custom listings.
Yes for custom listings like group or personalized listings, you need to start on Etsy instead of Printify because Printify doesn't give you the option of listing multiple item types in one listing. Hope this tutorial helps!
Thank you so much. I was literally trying to do this and figuring what's the best way to do the group and personalized listings. Appreciate your contents, the information and details are awesome. 👍🥰🙏
If you are looking for video ideas, i would love to see a video on how get designs posted quickly. Yes I was in the mentorship group for a year and have definitely done 50+ listings in a day! I'd be happy to make a video about this. I'll have to think on the best way to make it since I don't share my personal shop. I appreciate the idea!!

Cassiy, your videos have been so helpful. Easy to follow along and all. Can you please make a video showing how to offer a t-shirt and sweatshirt in one listing. Same design just on 2 types of products
I have been binging your video's for a week - thank you for all of your time and effort! I know a lot of time goes into these. I would love to see a video on how you handle shipping for group listings. I am thinking about doing a set shipping profile (for instance Swift POD $4.75) plus $2.00 for each additional item...but I could off base. Thanks again!
So glad you are enjoying my videos ❤️ there are lots of ways to do the shipping but my best advice to you when trying to decide how to do anything with your business is to make your decisions based on research! Go find 10 bestselling group shirt listings and see how most of them are doing their pricing! This is the best way to make sure what you are trying has a great chance for success! Best of luck
I am so glad I subscribed to your channel because you give such helpful tutorials. What kind of videos do you suggest for shirt listings since it would be difficult to get a video showing the different designs? Or do you skip the videos on these kinds of listings?
Amazing. I’ve watched this video more than once. I have a technical question. When you were putting the design on the group mock-up…. How did you erase the overlapping print? I can’t tell from the video what program you were using. I can’t seem to find it on Canva other than when I use BG remover. Thank you!
Hi Cassiy, Great video! I'm very new to POD. My questions are regarding shipping rates for the group items. With an order of different adult and baby sizes would there be any shipping savings for the customer (let's say they go through 1 printer)? Or, shirts with design variations within a group listing - what would the shipping rate look like? TY
Etsy offers sellers an option to use "Free Shipping Over $35" which makes things simple especially for group purchases. Just be sure to build in the shipping cost (per your preferred print provider) into your price.
My husband and I are wanting to do mission work around the world and I would love to grow my etsy business at the same time to help with funding. Thank you for all of your tips!
Hi Cassiy, Can you explain the example of ONE color with multiple design structure. Like bride white, other of her team all back but with different sayings. I think each design would be set up in Printify as individually then you advertise in Etsy as group, but make sure I link the SKU# to help Printify know which shirt?
Yes I had a similar question, Im trying to figure out how to do two different designs on the same color T-shirt! I guess maybe set as personalized, then when someone orders. manually put it in?
Hi there Cassiy, thank you so much for all you do. Could you please explain how to do erase overlapping designs. I cant find this in canva. When I try and delete with background remover, it deletes everything. Please help if you can. I have seen it in one of your videos but cant find it. ❤xx
Hi Cassiy, your content is very helpful :) i like to hear your toughts about two type of products in one shop. Idea is that i create pod tshirts and tshirt mockup. Thank you in advance :)
I wouldn't recommend doing digital and physical products within one store like that. I think visually it might be confusing and then you are also showing say your bestselling shirts right next to a mockup for sale to a person who is also trying to create bestselling shirts. I would do these two items in separate stores. If you sell say shirts, sweatshirts, mugs and tote bags, then I would do it all in one shop.
I would like your help in trying to list one specific design with multiple color design options, color tank options, as well as size options. do you have a specific video on how to do that?
Thankyou for your help, so i presume for the 3rd option group shirt we would just enter custom delivery option not select from the drop down menu sorry im very new to all this your videos are really helpful xx
Hi, very simple to understand and lots of details. I do have a question. So for the adding the variations part, do I have to add it in for every listing ( for example, unisex small, bodysuit newborn and pricing for all sizes) or is there a save or automatic part to this step.
Could u do a video showing how to have options for sweatshirt, unisex long sleeve and t shirt, youth and baby one piece in the Etsy drop down on option..how do we do that with printify instead of just having one kind-just T shirts 🤷
Hi there! Here's my video where I make a family listing. It's the same idea, you would just also add in sweatshirts, long-sleeve, etc! Hope that's helpful! :) ruclips.net/video/Tm_L3xkNPHg/видео.html
Thank you so much for this video! I do have a question…let’s say someone orders a set of shirts from one of the group listings, when they are printed and packed to be shipped, so they all ship together since they are coming from the same print provider? Is the initial shipping plus additional shipping fees charged or is it shipping per item? Let’s say they order a onesie, a kid shirt and two adult shirts, since the additional item is not the same product, how does shipping work? Thank you again, your information is invaluable!
This is very helpful, Thank you so much. But how would you do the I do crew shirts all the same color. If you have only one color shirt chosen in Printify, It doesn't give you the option to make another shirt a different design...I've been trying to figure this out for a couples Halloween shirts with different designs but same color? Any tips?
If you do the same different designs but the same color shirt, then it has to be a fully manual listing. I have another video that shows you how to make custom listings that would be helpful, but trust me it's just easier to offer two different colors instead!
Hi Cassiy! Love all of your videos! I have started up an Etsy store following all of your tips and am now going back to watch all your videos. What program do you use to edit your mockups? I usually use canva but I am not sure they an eraser for the overlapping images. Thanks!
Another great video. Very well explained. I do have a question, what did you use to erase the portion of the design so it doesn't show? It was on the mockup of three shirts? Thank you
I was using the Go Daddy Studio App, that app has a "masking tool" that you can erase little bits with. I didn't realize Canva doesn't have that or I would have mentioned it. Currently I still make all my mockups on the Godaddy studio app, and make my designs now on Canva.
Hi Cassiy. Thank you so much for all the great help your channel offers! You are doing a great job! I wanted to know whether I have to publish my Printify design that has the SKUs for different variations before I paste the SKU in my Etsy listing? Or do the SKUs still get applied if I just save the Printify design listing as a draft?
You can just save the listings in Printify as a draft, you do not have to post them. Some people like to post them to Etsy but click "hide in store" but this step is unnecessary.
I was using GoDaddyStudio app in this video which is a great option for erasing things! But you can kind of do it in Canva as well but it's not ideal, here is the part in a video where I show you how to do that ruclips.net/video/PXJQRv4j3Q0/видео.html
Hi Thank you for your very informative videos. I went on the trademark search you had mentioned and noticed that “I do crew” is now trademarked as of Oct 5/2022.
Thank you for this video! One thing I'm still unclear on is how to create the shipping profile for the group listing. Do you create it on Printify first? I'm not sure how that would work for each different item though. Or do you create the shipping profile on Etsy first?
This is such great information - thank you so much for sharing! What process do you use to decide what color shirts to offer for individual design shirts? I can't imagine listing all 100+ color options if the print provider offers that. Thank you :-)
Every decision I make for my business is based off of the research on Etsy! Check out a bunch of bestselling listings and really pay attention to the colors they use for the main image and what other main colors they offer. I have found my best selling colors to be White, Black, Light Gray, Dark Gray, Mauve, Heather Peach and Sand/Natural! I think offering just a few colors like 3-9 works really well. But again don't just take my word for it! Check out what's working on Etsy and this is a super good habit to have when deciding anything for your business!
Sorry I don’t sell a ton of toddler and kids clothing so I don’t have a specific recommendation. I usually just pick Swiftpod as my adult shirt provider and then see what’s in stock for kids shirts from swiftpod. I don’t put any brand names or size charts for the kids clothes in the listings just in case it’s out of stock and I need to choose someone else for that order.
I'm sorry I'm not sure what you mean. You can create in Printify without buying mockups but I would not recommend it. The mockups really help to sell your orders especially with group shirts so you can show them all within one photo together. And the design would need to match what's on Etsy and what they get from printify so they get what they ordered
Thanks Cassiy. Please I have another question. Do you have to upload a resale certificate to printify. If so please do a video to help us understand. Thanks again. Please leave a link on how to contact you
What software app are you using in this video? Is that Go Daddy studio or Canva? I have a Canada pro account and I downloaded the app, but I have not figured out how to use the app on my phone. It would be great if you made a video about this. Thanks ahead of time!
I would recommend closing one that's already made in Etsy and then editing it to be name "free shipping" or if you don't offer free shipping then something easy that you will remember. Then every time you go to make a new listing, in Printify you will select that already made shipping profile. So all of your listings ideally will have one shipping profile. You can bulk edit all of your listings to have the same shipping profile if you use the checkbox in the top corner of the listing page, select all listings, then go to "editing options" and edit shipping profile.
Cassy, Thank you so much for this amazing tutorial! Could you please tell is it possible to add diffrent designs on one item? For example:one white tshirt with zodiac sign,so customers can choose their design/sign

Hi Cassidy great video ! How I can offer a discount for group shirts? Can you do a video pleaseeee
Hi Cassiy I'd like to add a mug and a sweatshirt to one listing. Do you have a video explaining how to do this?
Thank you for such an informative video! Is there a way to see the production partner on other people’s listings?
People have it listed at the bottom of their Etsy profile, some people have it the name of the company but most people name it something else.
@@CassiyJohnson Thank you for clarifying this.
Can you use the erase tool in Canva? Or are you using over? I have been wondering about this.
I was using GoDaddyStudio app in this video which is a great option for erasing things! But you can kind of do it in Canva as well but it's not ideal, here is the part in a video where I show you how to do that ruclips.net/video/PXJQRv4j3Q0/видео.html
Thank you for the advice.
I hope this video was so helpful! Thanks for watching!!
@@CassiyJohnson Yesss they are!
Thanks
Hi
Thank you for your very informative videos.
Or do you create the shipping profile on Etsy first?
same question! following
Hi Cassiy, it would be nice if you did a video on how to use pinterest for esty.
Just recorded one for you, will be posting it on Tuesday!
@@CassiyJohnson just saw this, that's awesome.
@@Seniorfiles So glad I could help, hope you loved the video!!
amazing vid!!! ty
❤ Thank you for clearing that up! So very helpful.
Hi Cassiy, CAN YOU ERASE THE DESIGN ON THE SHIRTS LIKE THAT ON CANVA? THANK YOU
I was wondering what is the best shirt to use for toddler and youth shirts? Thank you!
@@CassiyJohnson 🤯 Such a good tip! I read through your comments for additional insights you give and save/screenshots!
Nice. thanks for sharing
Really great videos thank you !
Thank you so much!!
Awesome. Do have to always make the same design in both Etsy and printify? Or you can
Create in printify without buying mock-ups?
I'm sorry I'm not sure what you mean. You can create in Printify without buying mockups but I would not recommend it. The mockups really help to sell your orders especially with group shirts so you can show them all within one photo together. And the design would need to match what's on Etsy and what they get from printify so they get what they ordered
Thanks Cassiy. Please I have another question. Do you have to upload a resale certificate to printify. If so please do a video to help us understand. Thanks again. Please leave a link on how to contact you
hey cassiy johnson i like your vedio wow ... go on sweet thanks
Thanks for watching!!
Hi awesome channel, what app do you do your mock ups in? I'm struggling to find the eraser in canva, thanks!!
I was using Godaddy studio in that video! It’s an app or has a website and I think you can use it for free for that part!
What software app are you using in this video? Is that Go Daddy studio or Canva? I have a Canada pro account and I downloaded the app, but I have not figured out how to use the app on my phone. It would be great if you made a video about this. Thanks ahead of time!
I was using go daddy studio in that clip for the group shirts!
What do I choose in Esty for Shipping profile? Does it matter can I choose one that’s already made? Thank you!
The "I DO CREW" has been trademarked now just FYI. Great Video Too!
Cassy, Thank you so much for this amazing tutorial!
Could you please tell is it possible to add diffrent designs on one item?
For example:one white tshirt with zodiac sign,so customers can choose their design/sign
