I hope they don’t do Naruto vs Luffy until Luffy becomes pirate king, we need the both of them to have achieved their dream cuz that’s how u respect the rivalry.

@marshyhmr7766 yeah that's what I was hearing, that Ben is sick of waiting for the "right time" to use Luffy. Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if they just end up biting the bullet eventually and doing the episode earlier.

@kievteo8540 I can see that line of logic, but honestly I wouldn't trust DB to think that way. I think whenever they end up deciding to bring in Luffy, they'll just go with whatever opponent they decide on for whatever reasons they land on. And if that happens to be Naruto before One Piece is over, then that'll be that.
Again, not disagreeing with your logic. I just don't know if DB themselves will prioritize things in a similar way, based on how they've done things before.
It would still be one side either way because Naruto in his base form is moon level

I definitely agree with the statement that it isn’t very likely Death Battle ever dose this MU, i’m not really expecting it to happen anytime soon, but I will still love this MU for what it is. thank you Rappter for talking about this matchup, it truly means a lot to me
I remember seeing in one of the ballot banters someone suggested this MU, and the crew seemed to have a positive reaction towards it. Hope they do it. Honestly a Top 20 idea just for the absurdity of it.
Thanks for talking about Rimuru VS Ainz! It’s okay if you don’t know much about both series, I’m just glad to at least have your opinion on it, it means a lot! I really want to see Rimuru in Death Battle one day, he is not only my favorite Isekai protagonist, but my favorite anime character in general, so it would be a joyous moment to see him make into Death Battle one day!
A man of culture I see
Death battle has gotten a lot better at the “what the fuck is happening” fights between cataclysmal characters. Bill v Discord, Zatanna v Scarlet Witch, Pheonix v Raven, and to a lesser extent (mainly because of the memes) Scooby vs Courage. However, we might see a dump in quality now that Rooster Teeth has gone under and DB doesn’t have that company connections. They’ll probably recover but the earlier episodes won’t be as good. Let’s just hope that the stupid powerful character fights stay good if Rimuru ever makes a debut in DB, although you’re gonna have to make a distinction between light novel, web comic, or manga because he’s at very different levels. It’s like Paper Mario vs Archie Sonic.

I have a few ideas:
Cat Noir vs Tomura Shigaraki (Miraculous: Tales Of Ladybug And Cat Noir vs My Hero Academia)
The connections between them are that both of them have the ability to destroy something with a touch (cataclysm and decay), have villainous fathers who have the ability to give powers to others (Gabriel and all for one (who also share the same french voice actor: antoine tome)), Both grew in a relatively lonely environment thanks to their dads (likely due to being a sentimonster, Gabriel didn't allow Adrien to get out of the Agreste mansion while tomura's original father kotaro shimura denied and forbade tomura's dream of becoming a hero), Both came to be who they are due to the actions of a female family member (Emilie Agreste used the damaged peacock miraculous to bring Adrien to life and nana shimura sent Kotaro to an orphanage so he could be out of danger when she'll have to fight all for one), Both were mistreated and controlled by their evil fathers (Gabriel held possession of at least one of the graham de vanily which were where Adrien's amok was kept and could control Adrien into obeying him while all for one could take control of Shigaraki through the original All for one quirk implanted in Tomura), Both have things their evil fathers want to accomplish their goals which includes reuniting with someone important to them (Gabriel wants the cat miraculous so he could use It with the ladybug miraculous to make a wish to reawaken his wife and All for one wants tomura's body And hatred so he could steal one for all and "take back" his younger twin brother yoichi), both have been taken care of by servants of their fathers when they were busy (Natalie and placide for Adrien and kurogiri for Tomura), both have a introverted elemental using ally with a similar background (ryuko and dabi), an orange illusion using ally (rena rouge and mr. compress) and a ally with cloning powers (polymouse and twice). Both are friends (and in Adrien's case: lovers) with a romance obsessed twintailed girl (Marinette dupain-cheng and himiko toga). Both unlocked the full potential of their powers while fighting against a public figure (cat noir was able to unlock his adult powers and is now able to use his powers indefinitely without transforming back during his fight against queen mayor while Tomura Shigaraki was able to unlock the full potential of his quirk "decay" after remembering his origins while fighting re-destro). Both also share residence with a god/godlike entity (plagg and the all for one vestige). both also have opposite relationships with the 1. American hero who happens to be a blonde woman (cat noir is friends with majestia and Tomura killed star and stripe). Both were also featured in chibi-style spin-offs of their home series (miraculous chibi for cat noir and my hero academia smash for Tomura).
Iruma Suzuki vs Luz Noceda (Welcome To Demon School! Iruma-Kun VS The Owl House)
The connections between them are that they're Both human teenagers who found another world out of nowhere (Iruma was sold to a demon by his parents and Luz tried to retrieve her good witch azura book back), with both worlds being called "the demon realm" both iruma and luz were outcasts on earth due to a trait they have (Luz's neurodivergence and iruma's kindness), and while both initially wanted to return to the human world they decided to stay for personal reasons (iruma found a loving home and Luz wanted to become a witch). Both were taken in by a figure who is one of or was the most powerful person in their worlds (Sullivan and eda clawthorne) and in turn, befriended their animal themed companions (opera and king). Fun fact, during their first encounters with Sullivan and eda the concept of iruma and luz being eaten by them was brought up (Sullivan said he would've eaten iruma had iruma refused to be his grandson while Luz offered herself as food to eda during their first meeting). Both have a boy pal who has an admiration of sorts towards them (Alice has a strong admiration towards Iruma after Iruma defeated him in battle and gus admires humans in general) and a girl pal who was also an outcast (willow park who was considered weak and Clara Valac who was considered a weirdo). Both also have a love interest from high upbringings (Ameri and Amity) and have a love for a literature series from the human world they share with those love interests (first love memories and the good witch azura) and both befriended the main antagonist's nephews (sabro and hunter). Both also have a small purple companion (alikred and stringbean) and were put against opponents who use personal fears as weapons (orobus and Grometheus the Fear Bringer) with their worst fears being connected to their parents (iruma being sent back to his old reckless and misrable life with his parents and Camila finding out about Luz's time in the Boiling Isles and reacting badly).
Sentimonster theory looking closer and closer everyday because No one, no matter how sheltered that person is wouldn't take this disrespect from not just his father but from most of his friend group

Also Malty S Melromarc vs Queen Bee (Rising Of the Shield Hero vs Miraculous) Connections: 2 girls who are friends to the hero (Naofumi Iwatani and Ladybug) and they have Love interest who are blond (Motoyasu Kitamura and Adrien Agreste) that they stopped being friend(Motoyasu hate her for betraying him and Adrien stop being friends since she bully everyone) and the a sister they hate (Melty and Zoe Lee) but they betray them and got their punishment with their parent who love them (Malty got stripped her title of Princess with the King Aultcray Melromarc XXXII by Mirellia Q Melromarc and Chloe doesn't get the bee Miraculous and she was drag away by her father Andre despite her protests to London with her mother Audrey)
After Galactus vs Unicron, I wanna see Anti-Monitor vs Anti-Spiral go at it soon. Another truly epic showdown that's going to be possibly more ambitious to animate than Galactus vs Unicron.
That would be pretty cool, although Simon the Digger VS Kyle Rayner would almost certainly have to happen first. It's just too popular to put a different Gurren Lagann/DC episode ahead of it.
Yeah, I’d like to see it for myself. I can already see Simon the Digger VS Kyle Rayner as a season finale!

• Perry vs Skipper is also of my favorite cartoon matchups, a platypus who is secretly a secret agent working for an agency for animals and a penguin who is the leader of an elite team of penguins and became members of an elite team of animal agents. I can definitely see their similarities in fighting, lack of gadgets and their dynamic stature.
• Spider-Ham vs Rabbid Mario is just one crazy creative idea, gives me Looney Tunes vibes big time cuz one of them looks like Porky Pig in a Spider-Man suit and the other looks like Bugs Bunny in a Mario costume anyway this is yet again a creative idea and it’ll be real fun to see. That’s All Folks!
• Hiccup and Toothless vs Hiro and Baymax is a MU I’ve been vibing ever since I’ve seen it in the tournament of champions and just like Finn and Jake vs Mordecai and Rigby, it’s a 2v2 fight that’s got flare and spark of interest. What I really love about this MU is what points of time they’re in, I mean the past vs the future you don’t see that every day.
• Randy Cunningham vs Ladybug is matchup that actually fits, I know some people have been for Spider-Man vs Ladybug but I’d be honest this actually gets me more cartoon vibes than movie vs cartoon vibes. This actually slaps hard for those who have watched both of these cartoons and the skills of these characters have.
• Puss in Boots vs Buck Wild is one I didn’t see coming, I love both Shrek and Ice Age and these two Furry Sword-Wielding Powerhouses have really stole the show reminds of Perry vs Skipper, two short statured heroic animal protagonists facing off against each other. I know people have asked for either Mao Mao or LEGO Batman for Puss’s MU but this is actually as accurate as the others, the swords speak for themselves.
• Chaos vs Kyogre is a matchup that’s fit for the water cuz both characters have water based attacks. A shape-shifting water embodiment of chaos vs an orca Pokémon is really quite a matchup that fit for Sonic and Pokémon fans plus we have had a Pokemon matchup in a while since Goro vs Machamp but anyway this is a great matchup for both and really hope it happens.
• Ainz Ooal Gown vs Rimuru Tempest is really something I’m not so big on this anime stuff but after seeing Gown in Death Battle’s Skeletober, it’ll be a MU fit for anime and skeleton fans.
• Nautro vs Luffy is yet another MU I’ve seen in the tournament of champions and once again I’m no anime fan but after hearing and seeing characters from both mangas in previous matchups I’ve watched. I’d like to learn more about the main characters of their mangas and how they fit into this fight.

I agree with a lot of your comments about these matchups, especially the bit about Naruto VS Luffy. That matchup is not that great, but also not that bad, it's just a standard anime legacy matchup. Sometimes the legacy of the matchup IS the appeal, and Death Battle doesn't just have to say "it must have the best connections ever or it can never happen". Another great episode 👍
That’s literally how I feel about every MU ever. Not every matchup needs a whole paragraph. For crying out loud, didn’t they do Machamp vs Goro?
This is gonna be my greatest accomplishment on this channel to get Puss In Boots Vs Buck Wild recognition. I'm gonna go back to the fight for Sonic Vs Goku in the same way

The real question with ladybug vs Cunningham is wether or not ladybug is allowed the other miraculous since she’s the guardian she has access to them at any time so it should count
As a bit of context for Naruto vs Luffy, during their time, they were considered the "Big 3" of Shounen Jump. We already got Naruto vs Ichigo, so, having that match up for the Death Battle community would "prove," (Emphasis on the quote marks as that'll always be debated) who was the strongest of their era, lol.
the Rabbid Mario matchup seems like an interesting choice
but what about Rabbid Luigi, who would be a good matchup for him?

but I think these 2 serieses going against each other makes sence, Wizards of Waverly Place is already pretty much Disney's answer to Harry Potter so why not put them against each other, espesially now that Harry Potter is getting a new series (focused on the books) and even Waverly Place is coming back, so now or sometime soon might be the best time to do it
So happy to hear you mention Puss vs Mao Mao, that is my big preferred fight for him!

Definitely some great matchups here. Perry VS Skipper really clicks with me; the animation and banter would be hilarious to see. Hiccup and Toothless VS Hiro and Baymax is still one of my most wanted fights to this day, and I can’t to see it (HicTooth FTW!). But Puss VS Buck? Holy crap, that matchup slaps! I never thought of a fight for Buck before, but now I need to see this happen! And of course, Chaos VS Kyogre is an ocean pearl of a fight we need to see happen. I’m not sure why I think Kyogre would win, but as a Sonic fanboy/nerd, I’m rooting for Chaos all the same.
I actually have 2 of my own, but 1 I like more is Fleetway Super Sonic vs Sukuna (Sonic the Comic vs JJK) They're both evil and sinister demons who possess the protagonist thanks to special items (Chaos Emeralds for Fleetway and the fingers for Sukuna), and they just so happen to look a lot like them. And they both give them a power boost, as well as taking control of them when they're stressed. And they eventually leave them, gaining their own form. And a neat contrast is that Fleetway was redeemed while Sukuna won't be anytime soon.
My favorite Death Battle idea is probably Percy Jackson VS Luke Skywalker

Tak vs. Shantae (Tak and the Power of Juju vs. The Shantae series)
Connections: Both are Half Human and Half Magical Being (Tak is Half Juju while Shantae is Half Genie)
Both have idiotic but Lovable friends who serve as comic relief (Tak has Lok while Shantae has Bolo)
Both were raised by their Uncles/Mentors (Tak was raised by his Teacher Jibolba Who was the Brother of his Human Father while Shantae was Raised by Mimic who was implied to be the brother of her Human Father)
Both perform dances to cast Spells (Tak has the Juju dance which he uses in Tak 3 and Shantae belly dances)
Both have Arch Nemesiseseses who are their exact opposite in every way (Tak has Ttlaloc who's evil and wicked and uses dark Magic while Shantae has Risky boots who uses technology)
Both have a friend who also serves as their Rival (Tak once again has Lok while Shantae has Rottytops)
And finally....BOTH ARE UNDERRATED AND NEED MORE ATTENTION FROM THEIR RESPECTIVE COMPANIES (Tak hasn't been used by Nickelodeon since 2009 and while Shantae is still going strong Fans are clamoring for a 3D Game but Wayforward is being coy on whether or not that'll happen)

Yeah I used to like a ladybug ver Randy Cunningham now I don't want it to happen at all, recent I don't really like ladybug anymore but in fact despise her; and there are multiple of other reasons why I just don't think that she would work in a fight against someone like Randy. One she fights very defensively like overly defensively we're watching her fight is honestly boring, without her partner cat noir she basically runs and hides which would make for an interesting fight but honestly Randy doesn't really fit that for her, and the most problematic reason why she shouldn't fight Randy and her role in death battle in general her Ace in the hole the lucky charm which can solve any solution to any problem as you can tell it would be really hard to implement this into a versus Battle setting where RNG doesn't really mean anything. And I know that contrast to how characters fight is also grape for fights but I feel like that wouldn't work for Randy a better character for her would probably be Kamen Rider W or Taylor Herbert from para worm
Overall really good matchups and totally did not see puss vs buck coming but I actually now like it
But as for my matchup I would wish to see it would have to be Count Dooku Vs Saruman the White ( Star Wars vs Lord of the rings ) both because I want to see another lord of the rings episode and that I also want a Star Wars matchup that’s actually debatable

I really like Ainz Ooal Gown vs. Rimuru Tempest! I hope we get to see that matchup!
My favorite original idea is Wheatley (Portal) VS Beach Ken (Barbie). I’d be thrilled if you talked about it at one point.
Core Theme:
- Nonhuman morons created by corrupt and greedy corporations, who betray the main character as power goes to their head, gaining full control over their home in the process.
Connections:
- Both of them are comedic, idiotic, nonhuman characters, played by charming and handsome English actors (Stephen Merchant and Ryan Gosling). They suffer from massive inferiority complexes, often bottling up their emotions and pretending like everything is fine when it clearly isn’t.
- They were created by corrupt companies run by incompetent fools (Aperture Science and Mattel), who looked down upon them and heavily neglected them (The scientists told pointless lies to Wheatley, telling him he’d die if he used his functions; the Mattel higher ups forget about Ken’s existence, and once reminder, still didn’t see him being in the real world as a concern).
- They were originally created because a female character of the same group existed prior (GLaDOS and Barbie). Living in this person’s shadow, they had a demeaning purpose forced upon them from the moment of their creation (Wheatley is an intelligence dampening sphere; Ken is meant to be Barbie’s boyfriend).
- They go about their days in a self-sustaining world where nothing important ever gets done (Aperture and Barbieland), often wandering aimlessly, doing whatever they want as they don’t have a proper job (Wheatley never actually worked in cryogenics, and only showed up to try and keep things afloat; Ken’s job is “beach”).
- One day, a knowledgeable yet mentally questioned side character would kickstart the plot (Doug Rattman and Weird Barbie), causing them to team up with the main female protagonist in order to leave their home (Wheatley teamed with Chell to escape Aperture, while Ken went with Barbie into the real world).
- However, feeling mistreated by their partner (Chell failed to catch Wheatley as he fell from his railing, while Ken was constantly pushed to the side), they would betray them once they got the chance (Wheatley replaced GLaDOS as head of Aperture; Ken brought knowledge of a patriarchy to Barbieland), usurping and rebranding their home in the process (Wheatley turned Aperture Labs into Wheatley Labs; Ken turns Barbieland into Kendom).
- This betrayal is heavily influenced heavily by outside forces (Wheatley fell victim to faulty programming of GLaDOS’ chassis; Ken wasn’t all that into patriarchy to begin with, and felt pressured by the other Kens), and would add a ticking clock element to the hero’s journey (The reactor core would’ve blown up if Wheatley remained in charge; Ken would’ve taken over permanently after twenty four hours).
- Trying to both prove themselves to and punish the protag, they’d ultimately get defeated as other members of their species were used against them (Chell hooked other cores onto Wheatley until he became corrupt enough for a core transfer; the Kens’ were tricked into turning on each other), leading to an emotional outburst where they broke down crying (Wheatley yells at Chell in his boss fight; Ken cries to Barbie and vents his insecurities).
- Unfortunately for them, the protag would end their journey without them soon after, leaving them remorseful and repentant. (Chell left Aperture without Wheatley, who ended up stuck in space; Barbie became human and left Ken behind once she moved to the real world).
- Both are associated with a green-clad womanizing rival figure (Rick and Rival Ken), and an orange-clad goofball who failed to permanently leave their home (Space Core, who is revealed to have somehow made it back to Aperture in the DLC credits, and Allan, who set out to leave Barbieland yet never got around to it).

Debate Potential:
- It's surprisingly debatable if you buy that one MFTL Ken calc (Wheatley has similar reaction speed, so there’s no reason not to use it). Ken also counters everything except the wall crushers, as he could get Wheatley off the chassis by sending him to Barbieland, brainwashing the turrets which seem similar enough in nature to the Barbies (and are already willing to shoot at Wheatley’s screens in the game), sending Wheatley's bombs back at him with his Kenergy, and he’d be immune to any neurotoxin due to his plastic body.
Fight Potential:
- Things would start with Ken sliding into Aperture from Barbieland, having “overshot” his intended destination. Wheatley, having just killed Chell and PotatOS, takes an interest in Ken and steals his roller skates with a metal claw, replacing them with long fall boots. Ken has to make his way to Wheatley’s chamber so he can get his skates back and leave.
- The fight would be a loony toons-level game of cat and mouse as Wheatley grows increasingly frustrated with Ken’s inability to solve simple tests, who would mostly be focusing on how cool Aperture is. Wheatley would eventually get sick of Ken’s nonsense and bring him up to his lair for a showdown, complementing his opponent's intelligence, while deeming him as a “rival worthy” to his genius.
- Things quickly go down in flames as the reactor core starts to malfunction, ending with both of them tired and out of breath, desperate, exhausted, and scared. A complete 180 from the happy and joking tone the beginning of the fight had, which shines a light on their emotional issues and inferiority complexes.
Dialogue Potential:
- Ideally, any script or animation would use Ken after the events of the Barbie movie, with Wheatley driven mad and running Aperture. Not only is this the only real way the fight could happen with both at full power, but it would lead to an interesting “hero v villain” dynamic. Ken wants to sympathize with Wheatley and talk him down, but Wheatley wrongfully assumes that he’s the hero and Ken is the villain in the relationship.
- Ken could complain about the lack of cool horse statues in Wheatley’s lair, only for Wheatley to say something along the lines of, “Funny story, you’ll probably get a kick out of this, I was looking for some before you showed up. Couldn’t find any though. Just a bunch of dumb turtle statues. Bit weird. Maybe I could put some saddles on them?”
Death Potential:
- If Wheatley wins, things would take a more somber tone as falling rubble would cause him to get disconnected from GLaDOS’ chassis. He’d reflect on his mistakes and apologize, confessing that he’s “nothing more than a stupid and pathetic moron who can’t do anything right to save his life.” Ken would shake his head in refusal, declaring to anyone willing to listen that they’re BOTH Kenough, pushing the immobile Wheatley out of the way of falling debris, taking the fatal blow for himself. Wheatley gets hooked onto a nearby railing by a Party Escort Bot, which drags Ken’s corpse way, promising to rebuild all he destroyed in the name of the incredibly brave hero who saved his life and brought an end to his power trip.
- If Ken wins, he’d use his skills at “beach” to summon the Kenergy of “every Ken who was ever Kenough,” winding up a powerful, smacking Wheatley into orbit like a beach ball. It would parody the showdowns from cheesy 80s superhero movies, and it would be the most testosterone-packed scene you’d ever laid your eyes upon.
Track Potential:
- Musical number. Both portal games end with a song, Ken sings a power ballad, and Deadpool VS The Mask proves it can happen in DB. You know you want it. It would be amazing.
- The track name would either be called “Neuro-Toxic Mascu-Ken-ity” or “It’s Boss Night Every Night.”
Character Popularity:
- Wheatley is front in center as a villain in one of the best-selling Steam games of all time. Anyone who knows Portal 2, or even Valve for that matter, knows who Wheatley is. Wheatley, as a character, is still being used for advertising years later. As for Ken, the Barbie brand is very popular, being one of the best-selling toys in the world. While this fight uses a specific version of Ken, the version used shined a spotlight on "Ken" as a character and is the most known portrayal in recent media, to the point where “I’m Just Ken” was performed at the Oscars. 9/10 Valve fans know who Wheatley is, while 10/10 Barbie fans know who Ken is.

As for the matchup I genuinely can’t say as I never really was that big into Percy Jackson growing up although I did see rise of the guardians as a kid but I will admit I never expected Jack Frost would be on the show so for who would win I really can’t say as I only thought rise of the guardians was only one movie and just that but I definitely could see it as a viable option for Percy given how he already has tons of matchups such as him vs Harry Potter or Zagreus from hades

There is so many similarities and things that can come into play! I've seen them both been matched up with Spider-Man and I really hope other people want it too.
I'll say it here that the similarities seem surface level at first but then you can get MUCH deeper especially with how they are the same in SO many aspects.
A few surface similarities:
1. Both villains use innocent people who are at their lowest. (The sorcerer and hawk moth) and they both do it by sending out their respective "infactors" which often link to an item and often gain powers to match too (though this does feel more towards hawk moth since the sorcerer just makes big monsters but also works with mcfist who makes themed robots)
2. Both are teenagers who gained there abilities after mysteriously being gifted items by strangers. The items are also ancient and used throughout generations
3. This is a little iffy but they both have a friend who attempts to cover for them and sometimes gains abilities too (Howard for randy and Alia/rena rouge(I think) for ladybug)
4. Both have items that give them mysterious information or items that the hero has to use creatively at the end of the episode to defeat their villain (Ninjanomicon and Ladybug's yoyo though they do work differently with Randy needing to learn from the nomicon and ladybug being able to figure it out herself)
5. Small ones; Both red and black, both swing around, both compared to spiderman, and both learn to talk to their villains sometimes instead of beating them up
And keeping the differences short: Their friends serve different purposes (One is a super smart helper and one is... Howard), Randy actually has MORE villains than Ladybug such as Sorceres, evil Julian (goofy name, BIG problem..) while ladybug's villains are more empowered by hawk moth and that's that, finally there's a kind of future vs past dynamic with the ninja actually having constant pre-randy ninja villains and such while ladybug is more about the now and even has villains from the future showing up.
Ok I’ve been thinking of this Godzilla match up for a bit now king ghidorah vs mechagodzilla but it’s like all of them for Showa to monster verse and we can have cameos from different ghidorahs and mgs and it would be a mix of 3d,2d and pixel 3d being the live action ones like mv ghidorah or Showa mg, 2d for chibi or godziland, and pixel for like some of the older 90’s games and I thought of this because a shower thought “who is Godzilla’s arch nemesis kg or mg?” And the way the fight would start is like the army getting many signals from space and one of the agents saying “it’s ghidorah but many MORE?!” And the general would be like “send operation mecha g!” And a bunch of mecha godzillas start showing up and it would just be a slaughter house from both sides and I like how the mgs are the hero’s of the story as for the winners I surprisiliny think that the mecha would end up winning this idea has become one of my new favorites but Henry stickmin bs paper Mario is still my favirote match up

The Goal of All Life is Death would possibly be his only Win con and Rimiru would have to not be attacking him for twelve seconds for it to work

3:58 Hiccup & Toothless VS Hiro & Baymax
This, THIS, is my most wanted Death Battle, How to Train Your Dragon is not only my number one favourite Dreamworks movie ever, it’s also my favourite movie ever… like, in general, and Big Hero 6 reminded me so much of HTTYD when I first saw it that I instantly made the connection, and I’ve been invested in this matchup since 2014 when BH6 came out, I’ve been doing research on this matchup ever since then, and I do have to say, I agree that Baymax in a Death Battle would be kinda antithetical to the point of his character, I get that they’ve done pacifist characters on Death Battle before, but Baymax is a different kind of pacifist, and when you said that Hiro would have to be the one to deal the killing blow (IF they win that is) I was like “That’s Exactly what I’ve been saying!”, but at the same time, removing the healthcare card is no longer an option, because the second time he tried that (which was also in the movie), Baymax stopped him from opening his access port because he could detect Hiro’s intent to kill through his emotional state, his programming will literally stop him or anyone else from causing harm by any means necessary, even with Baymax’s Overdrive mode that he has in the series, not to mention that mode drains his battery extremely quickly and leaves him vulnerable after its depleted, but Hiccup and Toothless however have no such limitations, and Toothless’s Alpha mode from the 2nd and 3rd movies is a much more reliable super form that doesn’t drain him at all, but hopefully they will be able to pull this episode off as well as they did with Rick Sanchez VS The Doctor, if not better, if this matchup becomes reality

A matchup that I really like that doesn't fit the traditional mold of a Death Battle is Mr. Immortal vs Lord Death Man(Marvel/DC), mainly due to the nature of their immortality and their lack of other abilities. Something I could/would like to see them do is give them access to some of Marvel and DC's weird/goofy weapons to help fit the theme of the matchup. It'd likely be a DBX or DB Cast, although if they treat it soley as a joke episode it might work.

Welp, I guess the only match I have had a yates commission for that would actually get traction is Enterprise Vs Tidal Wave [Azur Lane Vs Transformers]
As I feel like the appearance of a Azur Lane character will get all the people who play azur lane to watch, and you can't go wrong with a transformer for that added popularity, even if a solid chunk of younger people don't know Tidal Wave.
Not too mention, its a Carrier Vs Carrier fight, and it's a David vs Goliath match up too, as Tidal Wave TOWERS over Enterprise. Were talking a transforms who at his highest I believe was recorded at 2000 feet tall, vs Anime Ship girl, who is suppose to be average human height.

If Baymax was in a DB it wouldn't be the first time they've used pacifistic characters in their fights and we know Baymax is canonically allowed to be a savage brute without the med chip. Hiro removing it himself would be out of character given the events in the movie, but the same could be said for every other pacifist who would kill the other guy in the DB, and it's very possible for the chip to sustain enough damage to stop working on its own. So I don't think having Baymax be blood lusted would be too much of an issue for them.
In the sequel cartoon Baymax could go into Overdrive mode which allows him to safely override the whole "no harm living creatures" programming to where Baymax could if the need calls for can fight against a opponent that's not a robot while without the bloodlust however Hiro only has Baymax go into Overdrive Mode as a last resort as Overdrive Mode tends to be a massive drain to Baymax's battery with Baymax pretty much being 90% drained of power after a single use of Overdrive Mode.
