@@blockerlord9471 it's not the upgrade you would be looking for from a 2060 because i also have one and if ever i am upgrading to a 4060 it will only be if it's at a really low price which we all know won't happen. other than that i would say go for at least 3070/3080 if possible and maybe 4070/4070S if you have the budget for it. for now the 2060 can deliver even at 1440p in some games especially esports games

Ada Lovelace made us realize how well Turing aged. We all loved Ampere, but Turing is still great. DLSS is so good now compared to 2018/2019. The only compliment I'll give to Ada Lovelace is the efficient power draw. The 4060 & 4060Ti have great power consumption. Besides that, they are a scam.
Talking about power and performance, the improvement is quite good in my opinion, 80% performance increase with a 30% less power consumption in 4 years is impressive, sadly Vram, availability and price kill this great numbers.
2060 n 4060 both use same memory which is GDDR6 the 960 is GDDR5 when GDDR7 releases it's gonna be same massive performance as you are stating lol(Also I like n prefer AMD more this isn't intended as if I'm defending Nvidia)

Nvidia always brings an improved technology with each generation. It's nothing new. You're talking about architecture, not the semi-manufacturing part. If you do study fabrication, then you should point out why the 40-series is more efficient than the 20 or 30 series.
The average person isn't going to be taking the time to study chip architecture so for those people the FPS is a good indicator for them of how much of an improvement there is. DLSS is a solution Nvidia made for a problem that they created. Just like with all of their products . You shouldn't need DLSS because that's what the GPU is for calculating and rendering images.

With 4 years difference, I'd expect at least 2x the performance gap for every title. Yet, it's inconsistent at times. Nvidia really screwed up this generation, as the low end just doesn't hold the same value as their 20 and 30 series lineups.
Depending which region of the world you live in… you will paying at least 1000 to 1700 pounds/dollars for at least a 25% upgrade from the 2060.. not worth it

It's the ultimate current gen 1440p Gpu.
