Dude you are the freakin MAN for this! Literally couldn’t find any videos on this model anywhere on the internet and I have the same one as you. I’m used to the old gas water heaters I knew how to troubleshoot that no problem but these are a pain! So thank you for this and god bless!!!
I had this happen to mine. I didnt unplug the sensor. Turn the unit off with the switch, then turn it on again. Within the first 30 seconds of it being on, toggle the knob from VAC around to past Hot, 7 times. Then leave it on hot or whatever your desired setting is. Youll hear the unit come on again around the 7th toggle.
I couldn't pull out the plug and was about to get pliers but saw your comment. I tried out your advice and it worked! Shutting off (no need to unplug the one part) and moving the dial back and forth 7 times between Vac and C... followed by leaving it around Vac, did the trick.
Good information. Delivery was disjointed. Good show turning the yemp adjustmment. But just say do this without actually doing it is a weakness in the delivery.
Your video was very helpful. I have the exact same water tank. My only question is at the end , do you turn it back to ON before you do the turns with the knob? You did it the 1st time , but not the 2nd time , at the end.

"LOW FLAME SIGNAL (Control continues to operate) So I know what the code means but nowhere does it say how to correct it. What should I do? What I have done so far:... I noticed that there were some items and boxes stored in close proximity to the water heater tank, so I removed everything to allow maximum airflow. What else can I do?

WHATS THE ROTATION TO RESTART IT AGAIN
Turn off your water heater and then Unplug your sensor
Turn off your regulator that control the gas
Plugin back your sensor and then Plugin your water heater...I think go back and forth A. to vacation then B then turn it to Low and wait
Tried everything in the video and the comments. Still blinking 7 times
Unplug your sensor from the water heater and wait a minute to plug it back in and then plug back the power cord for the water heater and turn it on
What causes the sensor to continually go out?
Painting, Refinishing your wood floor, maybe the sensor is bad...unplug and take it outside for fresh air and then plug it back in

Mines was flashing 4 times at first. Then I followed someone's else instructions and now it's blinking 7 times.
