There are a total of more than 25 Titans in MonsterVerse. Godzilla fans have been expecting at least a few of them to show up in Godzilla vs Kong. The only Titan seen is Titanus Warbat, unsurprisingly, and of course, man-made titan the Mechagodzilla. So where were the rest of the titans? Grabbing popcorns at home watching Godzilla vs Kong? In this video, we will explain to you the possible reasons why Titans that appeared in Godzilla: King Of The Monsters did appear on-screen.

Behemoth is set to appear in the Godzilla dominion graphic novel.
That's a rumors are we would see the other Titans in the film one of them was that mega Godzilla was going around killing the Titans one of the first day was killed was going to be behemoth which Godzilla to go crazy you'll be the plot of the original 1974 Godzilla versus MechaGodzilla and Godzilla was going to get the blame for it.
in case people didn’t notice..in the opening credits it showed godzilla fighting the other titans and defeating them..he hunted them they’re all dead 😂
When two animals that want the “alpha” title are fighting, they aren’t bothered by anything else
I understand why they didn’t come check out Godzilla and Kong. They most likely sensed it, but didn’t want involved in fear of being destroyed
They all bowed to Godzilla in KOTM and acknowledged him as the true Alpha, so there’s no reason to interfere.

I think Ghidorah had called out and made them wake up in KOTM to follow him as the Alpha titan. So the Titans do recognize an alpha and they do follow the commands of the alpha. In GvK Godzilla was already established at the alpha titan and I think he didn’t call out commands to the other Titans. He just went about trying to track down the thing that was pissing him off on his own. I think he probably should’ve called in the backup tho when the final fight happened. Would’ve been interesting to see if there was a response and Rodan immediately shows up to help out in the fight.

Shame they probably won’t use him anymore sense he isn’t as well known to the public and i don’t think they care about any Kaiju other than kong and Godzilla anymore. I really love his design and music theme. So I would have loved to see him more. But I don’t have high hopes.

It is doing very well even with covid problems. But covid issues are not in every country and many countries dont have covid anymore. The movie has grossed over 122 million dollars overseas alone. Far higher than the expectation.

Ah, no. KotM he asserted his dominance, only one who wasn't there to voice dissatisfaction was Kong. The others knew to stay the hell out of the way cause mean green was not to be messed with. In the novelization, Godzilla made them go back to sleep because he didn't want them to go back into Ghidorah's control. He sensed him, so it makes sense to keep the others out

I doubt it as in the end credits you can depict that the other titans are alive and moving talking about king of the monsters. Also the other titans already bowed down to godzilla submitting to his dominance. King Kong how ever has not.

It also claims godzilla is not allowing them to cause destruction under his circumstances. In the end credits of G.K.O.T.M. mothra leaves her egg behind but their is no way to stop a egg from hatching natural so you can depict she is hatching or in her larva stage. The credits also state the behemoth leaves traces of life every where he went along with some of the other titans. So yes some are sleeping while others are still awake and thriving
@@justsomerando537 yes but Godzilla Dominion happened after KOTM. It was explained that all Titans are free to life with humans. Behemoth is in amazon forest but he later got defeated by another Titan and almost got killed.

Between SpaceeGodzilla and Destoroyah, I'd prefer Destoroyah to be in one of these movies or even better an original kaiju as we need more original kaiju created by Legendary. The MUTOs were good, Skullcrawlers, great, every other titan in KOTM, truly impressive. While I would adore seeing Toho kaiju return I would really enjoy seeing what kinds of new kaiju that Legendary can come up with should the Monsterverse continue and I really hope it does and even if it doesn't then Godzilla Vs. Kong was a good ending for this cinematic universe.

As for the other titans, a few of them do get mentioned in the opening credits, listed as "defeated" by Godzilla. Now bear in mind, that *doesn't mean he killed them.*
He let Kong live after the Hong Kong battle. So long as the other titan submits, Godzilla lets them go. We see it in the prequel book "Dominion" with Scylla, Amhuluk and Titamat

Well great news for you according to the leak behemont, scylla and other titans will appear or at the very least mention and explore upon and also ghidorah as well kinda.
I think Ghidorah was trying to get to the Hollow Earth all this time, but the outer layer and Godzilla were in the way at his conquest for power.
Maybe that's why he was in Antarctica in the first place good theory!

Movie slapped very hard , alot of people complaining about Godzilla v kong in a movie which is called Godzilla v kong , the hollow earth stuff was a bit forced IMO cause I had to pause and be like hold on did I miss a movie but I still loved it

When ghidorah’s brain first became active in use of mechagodzilla, Godzilla basically told every monster to head back into hibernation 1. As a means of controlling the surface
And 2. To make sure they don’t get affected by an alpha call if it were to happen.

In the opening credits it said Godzilla defeated all the other titans I remember it exactly and I was heated because if that’s true then this will be the last movie of the legendary saga
I wouldn't worry, there is a large difference between *defeated* and *killed*. It probably just means the big G roughed them up a bit to establish dominance
They probably meant that the Titans bowed to gidorah so then when Godzilla killed gidorah they bowed to him so they might say he defeated them in being that they responded to gidorahs cAll or they put down deafeated because they bowed to him and accepted him as the alpha
You saw that as well. I saw the playoff format they showed BigG and Kong at the finals and all the other Titans where reded out as defeated so they were either killed or submitted to either one of Alphas

A fully grown MUTO is strong enough to go toe to toe with Godzilla. They are literally Godzilla killers. Ain't no Skullcrawler gonna kill Godzilla. MUTO stomps easily

@@My_Lacrimosa Hes talking about the skullcrawler in this movie, it was big enough to where it scaled decently to mechagodzilla when the big skullcrawler from 2017 would've been the size of mecha's shin. Also, I'm pretty sure hes talking about the female muto who are technically not fully grown. Only Muto prime can go toe to toe alone, and thats a later stage in their life cycle
No post credits scene in GvK made me really sad and thinking if we're even going to get another movie. Seeing basically no other titans was also a bummer. I think it's caused by the change of director and his other 'vision' different from Dougherty which is why we didn't a get some sort of a continuation of the titans related story.

In GvK, IIRC, there is a screen that shows some of the titans that were previously destroyed such as Monster Zero, Muto, and Skullcrawler Cranium Reptant. Also, in this list is Rhodan, however we do not know what happened to Rhodan between KOTM and GvK.
We want to see more monsterverse movies the world needs it
If the MV continues after GvK, i would like to see the kotm titans appear in those films
I only have two problems with the movie.
1. That they need to team up against something that isn't a life ending threat to Gojira (he would have won on his own, this is proven by the fact that the whole mission to the hollow Earth is to find a power *EQUIVALENT* to Gojira). Oh how I wish to have seen them team up against something that's actually worth it example Destroyah.
2. Kong versus the Warbat. I believe Kong would have escaped and defeated the Warbat, but for some reason they needed to add the humans there to save him. Making him look incredibly weak...
If the MonsterVerse doesn't continue this is a pretty terrible ending...

@@gravityfallscanada I disagree with the 1st comment MechaG is infused with ghidorahs brain and godzilla power, so it was a counter for godzilla and kong,so yes they both had to team up to kill him. 2. Kong just needs to adapt to hollow earth life then he will be fine. Naturally he was going to struggle, but conquer eventually. Who knows what else is down there.
@@gravityfallscanada I agree with the second but I'm confused by the first. Wasn't it a power source they were looking for? MechaG was being him up pretty bad. Even if the power SOURCE is equivalent that doesn't mean MechaG was. He had all the gadgets and was more agile.

I think Godzilla had already kept them in Checked as Stated by the end of KOTM 2019. Like the newspaper article said during the end credits that The Titans are presumed to have gone back to their hiding spots or somewhere else and Godzilla was keeping them in Check for awhile.

I liked seeing the 4 new titans: Alpha Skullcrawler, Nozuki/Warbat, Camazotz and MechaGodzilla, really liked seeing them, also where are you finding those creature profile bits in the episode
It was unavoidable that both Kong and Gojira would eventually fight. But other than that, we also actually expected that they’d be teaming up against an even bigger threat 😎
We saw none of them... That was disappointing. It'd be awesome if Destroyah comes and they all have to band together.

It would have been nice to see short scenes in the beginning of the movie to establish multiple monarch groups monitoring each of the kaiju in there own habitat, or as they hibernate.

The only ones who were killed were the Male and Femals MUTO, The big one Skullcrawler and Ghidorah. BTW Godzilla wouldn’t just randomly kill the other Titans unless they do something that he doesn’t like soo they ain’t dead
I'm glad no other Titans appeared. I got exactly what I wanted from the movie, and the absence of these Titans leaves room for new movies
In the opening credits, it states that the female MUTO, the Skull Devil, and Ghidorah were all "defeated".
Later in the opening credits, it labels ALL the titans "defeated".
This probably suggests that they were all killed, most likely by Godzilla on his search for apex facilities.
The graphic novel for GVK states that he told all titans to go back to hibernation incase mechagodzilla ever did an alpha call, so they are all asleep, not to mention in G:KOTM in the end credits it SHOWED rodan nesting in Mount Fuji
well godzilla has no reason to kill titans that do no harm to him unless they're hiding ghidorah's head in their stomach, maybe?

I just think if GvK would stay more grounded without too much human tech it would be better, and scarier.
At the end of KotM the news said some Titans were converging on Skull Island but then the island became uninhabitable only around 1 year before the event in GvK. So I don't know what was that all about.
GvK novelization stated clearly that after KotM Godzilla was traveling around beating up Titans who weren't fully submitted like Scylla, helping Behemoth out against another titan, helping a titan from human's capture. Then Godzilla ordered them to go into hibernation hence the 3 years absent.
I highly recommend the GvK novelization for anyone who is interested in the world/lore. It paints a much better better than the movie, even for human character like Ren Serizawa.

In the opening title sequence of Godzilla vs Kong movie, almost all the titans mentioned in this video were showed to be "defeated" by Godzilla while the Skullcrawlers were showed to be "defeated" by Kong, so essentially most of the titans here were annihilated by Godzilla and not just hibernating
It’s confirmed that they “submitted” under Godzilla, none are dead and ESPECIALLY not rodan nor the new 3 original kaijus, it would be extremely stupid to kill them off screen

It definitely was NOT worth the hype movie wise. But if we saying scene wise G *vs* K or GandK *VS* Mg then those secens was pretty good. Besides that atleast 70% of the movie scenes focus on the humans when we could had seen more titans and what they were doing at the time. Terrible.

Scylla was killed in the comic book “Godzilla Aftermath, the events after KOTM.” I believe it was something like that. Godzilla killed her because she wanted dominance over the Titans, so she tried killing Goji, but failed miserably.
The comic Godzilla dominion specifically addresses that upon sensing gidorah being alive(through apex) Godzilla commands all the other Titans to go back into hibernation until it’s destroyed so if there are more films they will likely be active again, either on the surface or hollow earth
I feel like KOTM should've not included these titans since they don't really serve a purpose in either kotm or GvK.

In Godzilla vs kong it’s shown godzilla has defeated some extra enemies / old allies. One of them being methuselah. It doesn’t specify if methuselah is dead or not though. Either way the info is there in the movie as to where at least some of them may be. (I.e. either crawled back to their homes, or died fighting.)
So he was in the movie. I’d say more names but I really can’t make out the pictures enough to see them all and say who’s in what ones.
From the opening credits where they showed a bracket style thing where it showed GZ winning against all of the other titans, I got got impression that GZ killed most of them off.

In Godzilla dominion all titans was sent to hibernation by godzilla because he sense that part of ghidorah still lived and don't want them to be influence by him.

I think Mothra should get at least one stand-alone, Rodan as well. A Monster Zero prequel could also be good. I think people will drop the Monsterverse if they focus on the big guy too much.

The director did say he filmed 5 hours of footage for this movie but was adamant on maintaining that it stay under 2 hours run time. Thats probably him adhering to WB's rules who had about a 20% share in the movie despite it being made by Legendary.
Remember how WB was adamant about keeping 2017's Justice League at just under 2 hours as well.

I can't see Godzilla killing them especially after this movie when he kinda spared Kong a couple of times. I don't think he'd kill a monster that isn't a major threat to the planet like Ghidorah or over populating MUTO

And in the animal kingdom even though an animal would be under an animals rule they would still kill that animal if they see it as a threat which Godzilla would see them as a threat because the mutos are always a threat, Rodan because he could turn on Godzilla at any moment, and the rest of the titans he could have killed because he sees them as a threat to humans which are a major role in keeping the balance which if you didn’t know is Godzilla’s only fear, Godzilla’s only fear is unbalance because if anything is going to or is disrupting the natural balance then Godzilla is dispatched to take it down which is why Godzilla hates Ghidorah so much because he is trying to destroy the world and terraform earth.
If they are really planning to establish the Monsterverse, it still make sense not to include everyone except for Godzilla and Kong , especially they have a surprise big baddie which is MechaGodzilla..i think they are reserved for an "endgame" like version of Monsterverse probably most of them will be teaming up for a battle against Destoroyah in the future..we have a lot of Kaijus to expect like Gamera..hopefully their battlefield will not be on the surface but rather at the Hollowearth
