Hey dude, I was thinking a cool video idea would be to do one on each of the major team captains and what you can learn from them, like the video you did on each Haikyu's aces!
I always thought Inarizaki's animal would technically be the foxes since foxes are normally associated with Inari Shrines. Additionally, the twins have been drawn in that style, which you showed in the video. Taking what you have put out there, you can see that the team is filled with tricksters and clever players. In Japanese Folk Tale, Foxes are known to imitate and copy others. They are tricksters and very clever. This also fits with Kita who is very clever. Also a quick look on google, it says foxes are seen as protectors also which might fit better for Kita who protects all the other tricksters on the team. Also I think its beautiful that the sports anime has all these philosophies fight each other but it never makes a claim that there is one definitive philosophy. It shows how there are trade offs for each one. I only made these connections because of this video. This really reminds me why Haikyuu is such a top tier manga. Thank you as always.
Even Johzenji High too is symbolized by a tree and in a way it suits them perfectly. The solid and enduring trunk represents their strong foundation and endurance while the branches could represent their weird and sporadic playstyle, their unpredictable and unconventional tactics on the court. They had the guts to try and pull off a synchronized attack for the first on set point against Karasuno😂😂
Aniessay thank you for contextualizing every thing I love about Haikyuu and allowing not only me but the audience you have to love haikyuu on a deeper level keep up the great work!
All i want is Furudate to acknowledge AniEssays , Harsh Reviews and other fellow youtubers like y'all who understand Haikyuu this deeply and represent it to us through such beautiful emotions.

Awesome idea. There is a lot to learn from every captain for sure.
Very likely in the works!
@@aniessays "Oya oya? Oya oya oya?" - My favorite captain XD. Honestly so dope, love your videos!

Great vid. Even though symbolism is a big part of the show, i don't think I've seen anyone talk about it in any great depth.
Appreciate it!
The way Accustomed Strength(a Haikyuu OST) played exactly when you discussed about Aoba Johsai being a tree makes me teary-eyed.
Yesss! Accustomed Strength is so good
studying rn but will come back and watch this bangerrrr

Studying rn and watching this banger

As a Seattle native, I appreciate the Pete Carroll reference more than you know.
I love to hear that! Pete is the best (even if he beat my Packers in the 2014 playoffs)
@@aniessays in Packers' defense, it is exceedingly hard to win in Seattle (or it used to be, because of how loud the 12s/fans were :P)
This video was peak well done
Funny enough, I just realized that with the owls and the dichotomy of intelligence…Sometimes I can‘t connect two synapses 😅😂
