This is amazing! Turned out great, I didn't even expect much of it😁 I used peanut flour instead of lupin, and added a couple more spoons of almond as it was a bit too wet. And then, that was it, super tasty, rolled in cinnamon "sugar"... Yummy 😋 Thanks for the fantastic recipe! You are amazing..

I tried your recipe this morning. Overall, I was very pleased. I only had super fine almond flour so the texture was bit "chewy". I will make sure to use almond meal next time. I also put a little too much water in it and not enough sweetener for my taste. I used the Lankato monkfruit/erythritol sweetener about 3 tablespoons. I probably could have used 4 tablespoons but that was all I had. I rolled them in 3 parts powdered erythritol and 1 part cinnamon. I don't bake often so this was a real treat with coffee after breakfast. I will try them again.

  • @lanamcquown3063

I just got done making a batch of these donut and I must say they are fantastic. I did use fine almond flour because that’s all I had and they did end up a little gummy, just like she said they would, however they were still delicious. I stuffed some with Lilly’s chocolate chips, rolled some in cinnamon and sugar, and dipped some in a lemon glaze. Yummy. I do plan on stopping off at Trader Joe’s and picking up some almond meal on my way home from work tomorrow, because I can only imagine how over the top delicious these would be with the meal. Thanks for sharing such a fantastic recipe.

Looks interesting! Have you tried substituting coconut flour for lupin? Both are "thirsty" flours so might behave similarly. I might try making half the recipe with each to compare. Thank you for your experimentations... your French Fries have already become a RUclips sensation!

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! Better than wheat donuts! I did adapt the recipe, 50% almond flour, 50% oat fiber; and I couldn’t find the psyllium, so I used 50% inulin, 50% ground flax. Took a little more water, but came out incredibly satisfying. Delicious, filled me up with only 7 little donuts, or 13 bites. Inspires me to get a donut mold and do chocolate iced donuts, my personal fav.

Today I've tried this recipe, just plain without any filling - thouht about putting peanut butter and nutella but were too runny, I will have them frozen ready when I next make these doughnut so I can add them easily. Having tried these though there's nothing plain about them, and I thought to myself....probagly I could try with cacao powder mixed in the dough and wrap some peanut butter and nutella, that'll top the plain version. For now, I will try some with these covered with favourit nut butter once cold...if I can stop eating them. They are particularly nice warm. Thank you Fan. 😊🙏
