Well, I'm just an anthropologist. Not qualified to give any guideline for tennis elbow recovery. But I'd say that you first stop whatever you were doing that have caused it. Give your elbow time to rest. And then consult with a physician or a doctor. Resting is at least as important as exercising, if not more.😉
Cool beans! Have you checked out Sandow's light dumbell system? One of his exercises, one that I just love, has you holding the light dumbbell both arms outstreched like a cross and doing alternating contractions. The light weight makes it pretty much an isometric movement but since the arm is out and up, you get maximal biceps contraction. I get the best pump from these and it feels to me like some kind of "primal" or optimal movement. Just feels so good for the arms and upper kinetic chain.
@@reinotsurugi sounds interesting, I'm going to look into it, maybe it could be good for some sort of rehab. But, as I mentioned before, I'm not a fan of weights - I don't use them now. Not to be a fly in the ointment, but isometric means there is no movement. :D
@@sendykafitover40 You are correct, sir. I was thinking dynamic tension and confused the terms in my own sleepy head. I should have coffee before I post stupid comments. But I perform that Sandow exercise without the dumbbells and do use isometric holds for it.

Wonderful videos!! Will you be having videos on isometric stomach muscle strength? Are stomach vacuum exercises the answer as I have seen with many female bodybuilders? Your input would be appreciated. Thanks!
I think you can do isometrics with any muscle group. But it's the first time I hear the words "stomach vacuum exercises" what does it look like? Wouldn't a plank (another isometric exercise) cover those muscles?
@@sendykafitover40the stomach vacuum exercise is a TVA exercise and core. This is not based on science. Isometric exercises are really bad at improving strength and muscle size - this is well known in the scientific litterature. It would be much better to do dynamic movement using the whole range of motion for reps, while making sure to not use the rest body.
@@sendykafitover40 It's important to differentiate between training goals. For maximal strength and hypertrophy, dynamic movements through the full range of motion have been shown in numerous studies to be more effective.
