I recently ordered some 8 oz Reyes SafeTec lace up fight gloves for my ten-year-old son. So as to avoid any potential counterfeits or seconds, I ordered straight from their website. The upside was that the gloves arrived promptly, were boxed and packaged nicely, the leather and stitching were of good quality, the padding was perfect for heavy bag and mitt work, and the fit was as good as it's going to get for a 10-year-old boy wearing hand wraps. The downside, however, ended up rendering them useless. In both gloves, the liner was blocking the hand compartment. There were no missing threads and the dangling section was not attached to the padding as with the rest of the interior. While I could push my hand past the flap, the fact that you even needed to clear an obstacle to get your hand in is inexcusable. I've owned or tried just about every brand there is and never come across anything like it. I tried to post my experience on their website but, even a week later, it's still not there. The fact that they didn't post my negative review of their product is alone enough of a reason to avoid giving them my business. WTF Reyes?
That’s absolute bullshit. I hope you make a RUclips video and link it here. No excuse for the bad experience you had, both in production and follow-up customer support.
I agree with the statement that Reyes are very much more appropriate for bags, mitts. The padding is extremely dense when new and it took me months to really break it down to a softer feel. After it gets soft, forget about sparring with them. It will not only hurt your sparring partner, but your hands as well. I was using 12oz so maybe next time I get 16oz. I like the flatter surface of the impact area. The sound on a brand new pair of Reyes gloves will have you turning heads. They give that loud whipping sound. They leather is extremely god quality
100% agree with his review... takes a while to break in and the thumb super uncomfortable. I jammed my thumb all the time. The craftsmanship is very good.
Hi expert boxing we are manufacturing and supplier boxing gloves and kit all stuff related to boxing. But not finding buyer yet? What to do have any idea! ❤
Good to see you still around, been around since you started making videos and you definitely helped me excel in the sport back in my training days.

Reyes uses latex foam. The should offer a multi layer foam of different densities and fix their thumb and they would sell like hot cakes.
Hey! Can you use reyes for sparring also or not so much? :)
I personally wouldn't.
You only use Cleto Reyes to spar when your sparring partner owes you money.
HAHAHAHAHA
"stigment" - a stigma and a statement at the same time. Jk man good video
