    Harbor Town looks so different from a boat view. Y’all had the perfect slip with the live music. How stressful is coming into a harbor like that? The Admiral was looking a little on edge. I think it’s very cool how y’all have the kids involved when docking.

    • @TheBoomershines
      @TheBoomershines  6 месяцев назад

      Admiral here -- I was totally stressed out LOL. It was 5 o'clock and there was live music at the bar so we had a sizable audience which always makes it more interesting. But Mark did an excellent job and our tiny crew did an great job getting our lines to the helpful dockhands. We had the best slip and enjoyed every second of our time there.

    Curious why do you dock bow in? My boat is only 35ft. But with twin engines it is much easier to dock when I back in. It’s also easier to get on and off at the dock.

      @@brianeichelberger9804 SeaSHINE was an amazing vessel but visibility backing up was terrible. A professional captain was amazed that I could dock her stern to. We did not have time to install back up cameras or a yacht controller. Cinda would talk me through on the headsets and be my eyes. Sometimes backing in is overrated. Not sure why everyone feels forced to do so. Eventually we loved bow in because we had a great view and were not on display to the rest of the marina like when back in. It was also easier with our mid ship power hook up. Thanks for watching! ⚓️Capt. Mark

      @@TheBoomershinesthanks for the reply. I have never owner owned or driven a boat like yours. I never considered visibility. I have a much or more visibility in my boat as I do in my car.
