You have to hide the grass in something sweet like a marshmallow

I can’t believe it’s only 622 calories. I open my mouth to say good morning to my wife at 6 am and that’s 750 calories right there. Bam I’m down to only 1250 for the rest of my day.
😂😆😃 that’s funny!
Gotta learn to take smaller breaths. Pace yourself.
She sounds delicious
That's because it isn't 622 calories. It's obviously over a 1000.
@@mirkomarjanovic3234 I see this a lot on this guy's videos. I've made a few of his recipes and they usually come out within 50 calories or so of being on target, which is negligible. Obviously he presents them to be more eye catching, but if you pay attention to what you're buying and don't just rely on an app to tell you what's what, they work.
California: “That’s going to be $62.42, would you be paying with card or cash?”
Customer: “Fuck you..”
Prolly closer to 100 honestly
Just go to Trader Joe’s
Actually spot on basically. Paid 61$
Damn that’s crazy. I think here in Illinois I could get that stuff for $30
@@Monte5491you can he’s just talking nonsense I’ve been to plenty of places here in Cali and that would be a $30 plate
Those eggs look perfect! Love that you make high protein meals that actually have flavor.
You think the eggs look perfect!?! I’m trying to figure out why they’re orange. What kind of grass eating eggs are that bright orange color? All my eggs are yellow.
@@AnthonyRodriguez-om6idim pretty sure in other parts of the world chickens are fed and bred differently so their yolks and eggs will look more orange than yellow
@@AnthonyRodriguez-om6idEggs come in different colors of pale yellow to dark orange. It means nothing and both are apparently equally healthy.
I made this for breakfast and it was definitely the most delicious thing I’ve ever had for meal prep

This is the type of video im talking about when i want an easy healthy food
Careful telling people pink salt. Some might mistake for curing salt which they make pink. Dont put curing salt in your food folks!
YES PLEASE!!😂 Don't use curing salt. Look for pink Himalayan 💗
For a split second I thought he meant curing salt. Then I realized most people haven’t heard pink salt exclusively refer to curing salt for the last several months. The fact that most people won’t be able to tell the difference between Himalayan salt, sea salt, and table salt in the quantities used for something like this doesn’t help
I came here to scream this exact thing. When I hear pink salt I immediately think pink curing salt which can be very dangerous if you’re not careful.
Context and common sense exist so i feel this entire comment thread is unnecessary
I don't think anybody's going to do that, my friend
800g lean beef - 1568kcal
Olive oil 10g - 90kcal (underestimation)
Potatoes 700g - 553kcal
Butter 15g - 111kcal
8 eggs - 667kcal
Per serving
750kcal, 31.5g carbs, 33g fat, 80g protein
with the sauce it is closer to 800kcal
Removing all oil and butter from the dish still gives calories higher than 622 and i underestimated the oil used.
800 kcal is only 8 megacalories to technically under 10 cal
Get better/leaner ingredients. I double checked seeing your comment and mine actually comes out at 624 calories including olive oil and butter (no olive oil for potatoes)
With the ingredients and amounts you listed I come out at 575 kcal per serving (without the sauce). Used beef knuckle for my lean meat.
Exactly. Way more than listed.
@@EddyVinckhow does it taste
This is the first “high protein meal” I’ve seen on here that actually sounds good
jus someone like this so I can come back to it please
There is absolutely no chance that this is 622 calories
Yeah these videos are always frustrating when they mention calories, just way too low estimates
I can believe it.

It’s a general idea of the nutritional content per serving. The actual values can vary based on specific product brands.
Edit:
Ingredients:
Flank Streak 800g 1536 calories

I didn’t include calories from anything negligible like dried parsley or pepper.
If you have alternative caloric values to suggest, don't just share your calculation outcomes or imply my estimates are incorrect. Include a detailed explanation of how you arrived at those numbers, specifying the macros and the caloric content of each ingredient used so we can all benefit from a constructive discussion based on transparent and shared information, rather than taking anyone's word at face value.
Thanks for calculating these numbers! I found this guy's calorie count to be wayyyyy too low for most of his recipes. I usually divide by 4 too unlike what he shows which is 3 servings.
@@jacquelynsun3652His channel is grossly misleading. 200-400 calories off is wild. That adds up. Imagine you take his word for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You’d be 600-1200 calories above budget. It does a lot of harm to the community, especially those who have a limited understanding of nutrition and health.
I’ve had so many people come up to me for weight loss and nutrition advice who take information from these kinds of people. They do so much damage. I don’t blame people for being so confused.
@@hp_husky Doing the same calculations, it came to 634 per serving. Just have to use a lean cut of beef, which was obviously what was in the video. Exact ingredients, it's 620-640 calories. This guy is usually right on the dot on his calories/nutrition.
@@jacquelynsun3652 Obviously I understood he used a lean cut (flank steak). I also used diet friendly options for other ingredients like spud light potatoes (25% less carbs). Regardless, the beef alone equates to majority of calories. Flank steak is 192 calories per 100g. Video says 800g for 3 servings or 4 servings. That’s 512 calories or 384 calories.
Total calories for rest of ingredients combined is 1670. 417.5 (4 servings) 557 (3 servings).
Again:
1069 calories (3 servings)
801.5 calories (4 servings)
So unless you can describe in detail how you came up with your calculations then your comment means nothing.

How? It’s only 600 cal, if anything you lose weight eating this type of meal 3 times a day. Even 4 times I’d be losing weight . 5 would barely be maintenance

Wow that looks so delicious
The sauce is so good that it atracted an extra ingredient.
The buffalo sauce 😂
Ain’t no way In hell that is 622 calories.
It is, but not in 3 bowls like he showed, it's 4 smaller portions.
Also the steak is completely lean.
Not the whole thing, only when you distribute it into four servings, like he showed in the video. Each serving is approximately 622 calories, he gave the full estimate right at the end.
MISLEADING - Says distribute into 4 servings but only shows 3. The images shown does not equal the true ampunt of calories in each one
Well put yours in 4 😮

what cut of meat is used?
Would use shoulder
Topside
I just made it but with purple potatoes looks pretty good.
I've been fasting... Dude that shit looks good asf
Olive oil is 100 calories per tablespoon. He just dumped 400 on the potatoes alone. 😂
If you’re bulking? 💪🏽
no he didnt. four tablesooons is a 1/4. that isnt a 1/4 cup of olive oil.
You clearly don't know how to measure.
bro.... google the measurement chart, you clearly dont know how this works
He put maybe 2.5-3 tablespoons at most on both the beef and potatoes combined.
Did the math myself since there’s a lot of discussion here. This is portioned into 4 servings like he did in the video.
160 g cooked steak - 434 calories (meat loses about 20% of its weight in cooking)
175 g baked potatoes - 133 calories
2 cooked eggs - 160 calories
Maybe 1/2 tbsp olive oil per serving - 60
A drizzle of sauce, equaling maybe a tbsp of light mayo and yogurt together - 40 cal
Spices - negligible
This gets us to about 827 calories, or 200 more than was advertised. Which is significant but still not close to the 1000 I was seeing some people say. As presented, this is a pretty decent meal for bulking, netting you about 60 g of protein - a lot!
If you want to use this to cut, and would like a calorie count that is closer to advertised, simply half the amount of steak prepared or cut the potatoes. You sacrifice about 20 g of protein per serving with half steak and about 30 g of carbs by omitting the potatoes. Either way, it’s a trade off. You can’t cut out the eggs, cuz then it’s not steak and eggs anymore (: .
@Jalalsamfit feel free to check my math
nice work mate, appreciate the effort! most youtubers dont bother to do simple math when calculating the nutrient contents and decide to throw out an arbitrary number lol
Did you consider that he used a very lean meat? Or did you use a lean meat in your counting?
@@norhe. looking at 160 g of sirloin steak, the leanest steak cut out there, gives us about 390 calories still

I like to get this brand of side dishes from my work called reeses main streey bistro. They have garlic rosemary potatoes. I salt em up, sear em off while the oven heats. I use thin sliced sirloin tips, cook em enough to where i can shred em. Put everything back in the cast iron, cook it 3/4 the way, add butter, cheese, and eggs. Let that cook, scramble, then finish in oven. It does take about an hr but its delicious.
