This has been the craziest and hardest 2 weeks of my life. I couldn't have done it without the members Project ROSE and my friends who so graciously lent me their time entirely for no pay. I'm proud of each and every one of them for pushing past their limit and doing their jobs 3x as fast as they normally would have. So from us at Cake Station and Visual Outcast Studio, here's a little fan animation to perhaps whet your appetite for Volume 9. Enjoy RUBY. Кино
Glad you guys like it, we want to make more episodes!
If you're able to, please consider donating to our Patreon!

Can't wait!
2 weeks!.. insane how amazing this turned out. Could only imagine 2 MONTHS.. idk who voices Ruby but she absolutely nails it lol.. sounds just like her.
My God I love that you and your friends did this. All I need now is Jaune looking like a capable fighter and everything I hoped RWBY could’ve become would be complete
I see that the true spirit of, Monty lives on through the fans. I could feel him in this. While enjoying the passion and dedication of your take on the idea.
@Cake Station keep growing in the craft, guys.
Please revive penny 😭😭✨✨✨💖💖💖
The animation is not janky, it's being faithful to Volume 1.
Soon as I saw those old running animations.. we all know the one I'm talking about lol. I was like Yupp!, Volume 1 all over again!.. awesome.
And why is V1 janky? Because they made episodes in two weeks.
@@Spudtron98 did I really watch this video only 2 months ago? Feels like a year ago. Anyway, I thought it was because it was animated by literally just 1 guy, and that 1 guy was an amazing anime fight choreographer, not a normal human movements choreographer.
which is janky..
Dont you mean its not "Yangky"? 💀
AHHHHH Ruby using her semblance in a casual scenario, Weisses old fighting style, Yang making jokes. The stuff we miss!!!!
@Allen Cunningham - EKS She mostly focuses on summoning now and rarely does any fencing.
@Allen Cunningham - EKS It really, really is.
@@brandonontama2415 She's starting to use her sword and dust+glyphs now while using her summons sparringly
Don't forget Blake actually using her blades to slash as well instead of spamming her semblance to just dodge~
Not like RWBY had any character back then either lol
This was practically beaming with early Rwby energy. No big overarching ‘save the world’ plot with 50 characters vying for attention. Just a simple story between four teammates trying to resolve their problems. It reminded me why I originally fell in love with the show.
I wish they just stayed at Beacon. School students learning how to take down these big monsters while defending their school is what brought me to the show. As soon as Beacon went bye I knew I'd be dropping it soon.
Whoever VA'd for Ruby, you hit it spot on. If the mic was of better quality, I probably would have thought it was her actual VA.
That would be Tina Mickel!
Tbh I thought it WAS the actual VA! I was under the impression that the dialogue was taken from the show and spliced to make this new dialogue. Truly impressive!
Jaune's line was also uncanny!
Oh, look. Back when Weiss could actually fight and didn't exclusively used her rapier like it was an oversized wand
LOL, Spot on! The entire team used their weapons as intended.
It was a pleasure to see Ruby actually use the gun function of her weapon to shoot at an enemy.
sad ain't it
She might as well get a wizard robe and hat too at this point😭✋
Indeed, Weiss's weapon is pretty much just a magic wand now. I doubt it has made physical contact with another weapon since her fight with Vernal. And she does not demonstrate the acrobatics she once use to. (She might muss up her drip.)
@@DocMicrowave you mispelled "entire weapon"
I still can't believe we made it. This was an absolute joy to work on; frustrations, all-nighters, inexplicable 5-minute laughing fits and all.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go sleep for a year.
Well done
👏👏
Speechless. No words. Only silence can explain my amazement. Well done
I'm still in absolute disbelief at what we managed to accomplish in two weeks. TWO WEEKS!!! Seriously, everyone went 300% above and beyond and it shows.
Despite all the stress and panic-fueled all-nighters, this was an incredibly fun project to be a part of and I'm so happy to have been able to work alongside such talented people.
Guess it's time for me to start on the episode two script now, huh?
Great work! Please consider buying the rights to RWBY when RT goes under.
yo, can i try helping with writing the script?
Yoooo, two weeks? I saw how many people worked on this in the credits and comments talking about long nights but I still thought it must have taken a couple months at least. Sheesh, you might as well have taken a whole month for a few good night's sleep.
This was two weeks!!! Holy Hell!!!!!! I am blown away!
Can you do other episodes, like this, or there is a risk in copyright?
Man, after taking down that Deathstalker, everyone at beacons gonna think Weiss is the Bee’s Schneeze!
Omg who have Yang the ability to break the fourth wall? 🙄
Aye nice one, she'll definitely be the "Coolest" student at Beacon.
Nice one.
Yeah she isn't pretty "chill" about her mismatched name...
@@random-kun Yeah it wasn't very "Weiss" of them to mess up her last name.
Imagine what a full month of extra polish could do to make this even more spectacular! Better than that, aside from the awesome action animation, even the writing, music and humour is so reminiscent of Volume 1, with all its dorky interactions and jankiness adding to its appeal. Volume 1 RWBY is a simple joy I can relive time after time again and I'm glad I can add this new gem to my playlist.
Already spent their sanity, might as well offer their soul to the full metal alchemist gods.
Ever think of doing a colab with Cake Station?
TO EVERYONE WHO WORKED ON THIS EVEN IN THE SLIGHTEST BIT THANK YOU
Guys you made Ruby look SO FAST. Well done. Humor was spot on, and suffering Weiss is the best thing in the universe. Please do more!
Seeing it all together is so amazing! So glad I got to lend my voice as Ruby and Pyrrha for this! This was so awesome! Doing a couple small props was fun too! Thanks for having me guys! You are all so talented!
Good job! Well done.
Lol how did I know you helped with this before I even watched it ^^
I'm not trying to insult anyone, but I think I like your Ruby impression more than the actual V.A., it just sounds less like someone trying way to hard to sound young and innocent to the point that its ear grating and more, natural, I suppose is the term I'm looking for.
Great job.
The second I heard this I was like yesssss they got Tina to helpppp!!!!
Dude your voice for Ruby was perfect! I arguably prefer your voice performance over the original lol, hope to hear you continue to lend your voice for her in future projects!
This was such an honor and a pleasure to work on. So many talented artists all contributing to make this a reality. And we did it, heck yeah we did.
Here’s to many more! Always move forward.
"飛べ
Suggestion. When RT goes under, everyone who worked on this piece of art should team up and form a new animation company. Buy the rights to Ruby from whats left of RT and start RWBY anew.
Just sayin......
WoW! this is what I like to see. Can't believe people are actually enhancing the show. Thank you guys so much for all your work, amazing job!
Yang and ruby’s voice acting was absolutely accurate
Thank you very much, I tried my best. - Yang.
Well this is a good idea! Always wished someone would add onto the RWBY storyline like this.
Waiting for Season 2`s OVA now ;)
This really takes me back to the old RWBY days. Genuinely impressed with this, and can only imagine it'd be even better with more time. Seriously, great job to anyone who worked on this
Wait wait wait wait wait.....you guys made an 8 minute long episode in just *two weeks!?*
Wow you guys really must have lost your sanity cause thats legit insane.
Also honest question. Who else squealed a little when Blake started kicking ass and launched that energy blade? I've missed that a lot
YES MFG I SQUEALED SO LOUD
(I’m glad I’m alone rn lolll)
Dude bro. This was made in 2 weeks? Wtf? How? You managed to capture the characters in their own fighting styles and even include good background animation. This had heavy Monty vibes. Excellent job
i dont comment a lot, but holy FUCK.
that is the most fun ive had watching a rwby fight, or any fight for that matter, in a such a long time. my heart was racing, it was awesome to see some moves reminiscent of the white trailer, and rubys reaction of throwing weiss out the window actually made me laugh (which the actual show fails at these days)
overall this is just amazing, and you guys made it in two weeks?? oh my god??
i hope you make something like this again
time to rewatch 100 times
The fighting choreography was awesome and felt unique for each character, also Yang actually punching to shoot looks awesome and I miss stuff like that in the show proper.
How about Ruby!? Actually using her weapon as a gun again.
@@DocMicrowave and riding the recoil from her shots to move around instead of only using her semblance.
@@soulcyclone360 That to! Ah the good ol' days. When things were a little less PC.
Now there seems to be a bit of an anti-gun or gun control message subtly hidden in the more recent volumes.
The heroes use their weapons far less as guns. Especially being fired in anyone's direction.
While the baddies get all the gun play.
(Queue Ironwood shooting Oscar and an innocent civilian.)
Since V6x6, I don't remember the last time Ruby was shown onscreen firing Crescent Rose at anything.
And now that you brought it up, I can't remember the last time she used the recoil for movement.
Same thing goes for the other members of team RWBY. The current depictions seem to avoid having them shown on screen firing Any ordinance other than fantasy shots like Ice.
All this makes for a very odd feel for a show that used the idea of amazing weapons that doubled as a gun as a hook for the show.
@@DocMicrowave it is also odd that RT have merch with the phrase "its also a gun" stamped onto it that there are happy to sell, despite the fact that a new watcher that starts at the latest volumes would be wondering why that line was chosen despite the fact that only a handful of people seem to remember in Canon that yes, I can shoot things from a distance.
@@soulcyclone360 Very interesting! I don't follow RWBY merch anymore so I was not aware all they sold.
So they kept the catch phrase, but in show having the heroes firing off guns is a no-no.
lol, are you sure that merch you saw isn't old stock they just haven't unloaded yet?
Really loved seeing our girls team up to help Weiss take down that grimm. Their fight was awesome and seeing how they used their weapons was impressive.
It was great to see the team use the weapons as creative as they use to.
Surprisingly, this wasn't half bad. It really does in a sense recapture the feeling of Vol.1 pretty well, for the most part. All in all, all of you deserve some major credit for this. And all at the cost of your sanity...(wait, did you guys even have and sanity to begin with?)
But yeah, pretty damn good.
Great Work. Cool fight, enjoyable moments, everyone felt in-character. Everyone who took part in this should be proud of themselves.
Indeed, Everyone really did feel in-character.
Honestly, when the show's main plot ends (hopefully not any time soon), I hope they go back to making badass slice-of-life episodes kinda like this.
Excellent work, guys! Here's to more episodes! Just please dont push yourselves!
This is amazing! I loved the Grim's attack at 4:46, it was so creative and fun, I wish more Grim in RWBY used tactics like this.
Holy christ... Its like watching a lost episode by monty oum....
Truly made me feel like the early days where the animation was top notch, felt right and perfect.
And in only two weeks, i would easily commission your team to make a form of Lost episodes just cause i dont think RT could beat what you just did!
My thoughts exactly on "The Lost Episode" idea.
This has SUCH volume 1 vibes, from the animation to the cadence of the voice actors. I don't know how I didn't notice it, but the voice cast sound very different in later volumes. The VAs in this video almost capture the characters better than the real actors.
Despite a few (Namely Yang and Weiss) being not insanely accurate voice-wise, it was really believable because the way they talked was so similar to them. In my opinion, this is far more important, as I've seen some people nail the voice of a character, but struggle to sound anything like them when not parroting existing lines, because they don't *act* like the character.
Also, as I had previously discovered you through your Volume 4 animation breakdown videos, I was following this video's animation very closely, and I was insanely impressed to see everything you talked about in those four videos on display in this one.
Tried my best lol.
@@ZIPPY-VA And it was great! I'm very impressed with your ability to act so similar to Yang.
This doesn't whet my appetite for Volume 9 at all, this whets my appetite for R.U.B.Y OVA 2
Agreed.
2022 rolls around and I get to be brought onto such an awesome project! A huge thank you to Cake Station and Visual Outcast Studio and so glad I got to lend my voice as Yang, this turned out amazing. I absolutely love it!
The fight scene felt like classy rwby I was so happy. The team had to actually fight togethor to beat a tanky Grimm who wasn’t cannon fodder.
Weiss was the spotlight of the episode and you understand her a lot more. Everything felt classic volume 1, even the bad humor.
The music also added to the fight a lot more then it does in later volumes.
So proud of the team who worked on this, I had a blast with you guys. Getting to work on the music was so much fun, I hope we are able to do this again soon!
Ruby Rose is listening to "Take On Me" by A-ha 1:29
What a great project to be a part of to start off the year. Kudos to everyone on the team!
This genuinely feels like a Volume 1 episode. ❤
Imagine if RWBY's animation style never evolved from Volume 1, it would still be charming but it'd be both loved and hated at best (not much different from its current state)
Tbf the casual animations (walking in general and characters expressing through their bodies outside of fight scenes) has really improved MASSIVELY. It's just the choreography that doesn't really hook me personally anymore and I assume it's the same with most other people considering the fact I never hear anyone talking about there being hype fight scenes in the show anymore.
@@Gxmwp The current state of lack luster fight scenes is pretty much in sync with the present level of writing in the show.
@@DocMicrowave I don't even think the current fight scenes are all that lackluster (like REALLY current. Not volumes 4 or 5). It's just that we had it so good for the first 3 seasons (in terms of fights) that what we get now vastly pales in comparison. Wish Dilon Goo and the guy that worked directly under Monty had stayed on the team, but it's understandable why they left if they really felt like Rooster Teeth was butchering the original premise.
@@Gxmwp Good fights are few and far between now a days. The last good fight I could remember is Watts v Ironwood.
AceOps v RWBNP wasn't too bad either.
But that's about it.
Everything else is basically illogical or built on nonsensical premises. Or are just down right contrived, ignoring lore and past history.
(ie. RWBY wiping the floor with the AceOps in their first fight, The infamous Neo punch by a farm boy, QvTvC, Cinder v Rhodes, and on and on.)
With that final fight at the end of V8 as the cherry on top of a totally contrived and fanservice laden mess.
V4 was somewhat ok with fights.
V5 had more misses than hits. Especially in the last half of the volume.
V6 was the same. After V6x7 the quality of the fights really nose dived.
V7 had but One good fight as mentioned above.
V8, the same. Just one half way decent fight.
This is of course just my opinion.
@@DocMicrowave it also doesn't help that RT really thinks that cutting away from a fight halfway through to give us lore or context or even lead into another fight that also gets cut away from is, "immersing". When really, they are just to lazy to try and make the choreography look good. Or animate a decent fight scene that involves Ruby using her scythe like a, well, scythe.
So it is still possible. I knew this kind of magic couldn't be an RT First exclusive.
This is an ever-present reminder of how passion, skill, and determination (or in your case, loss of sanity) can make dreams come true.
Also the voice acting is on point. Ruby, Port, and Oz sound especially good.
I could go on, but I figure others will cover the visual style bits that absolutely make this, as well as the suitably logical
fight choreography. I'm just gonna have fun watching this on repeat for the next half hour.
Your UwUeis- I mean, Weiss voice was super impressive, cake! Even probably more expressive than the actual va (no shade).
I also especially love Ruby’s combo at the beginning of the fight as I’ve noticed we actually rarely get to see good choreographies with her aside from her trailer. I guess the weapon spin and smears could use some work and non-fight animation like expression and acting could be refined but considering you had a week to make this, this was immaculate. ^^
She had her moments in V1 and V2. Though, nothing like the Red trailer. But considering how that trailer was basically all Mounty, you'd be hard-pressed to find animators that can capture that kind of choreography. I never even saw Ruby use her scythe's alternate form in the main series. Not that I saw anything past V5 so I can't really confirm that.
@@SenseofNoneYT If you mean the gun form, beyond volume 5, that's basically all she uses now. Guns are way easier to animate and save costs so they choose to just focus on that. Same with Weiss, now she just uses it like a big wand to cast not-magic
@@Medbread Tho I did see in V4 and V5 that that's the direction their action sequences were heading, that's not really what I meant for Ruby's scythe. If you were to watch the Red trailer again, you'd see her scythe take on an alternate form to better fit her attacks when she started moving at break-neck speeds. I'm guessing it hasn't re-appeared at all?
@@SenseofNoneYT It was a really small detail that I never noticed. No, it hasn't appeared. It seems like RWBY didn't think she really needed it. In Volume 7, she gets an "upgrade" and her scythe can flip to the other side... a thing she could already do just by using her hands. That's about it.
This was truly a joy to watch! The visuals were amazing, the story was fun, and the fight sequences were just downright awesome! You and the team did an amazing job on this project, and I can't wait to see what you all create next!
I haven't seen an episode this good in over 5 seasons! Thank you so much for bringing the real RWBY back! Monty would be proud ❤️
Really happy to contribute, even if it was only a skybox, everyone I saw working on this was working really hard.
This is really good, Monty Oum would be proud of you.
Keep up the good work 👍🏻
and I also can't wait to see the next episode of your RWBY fan animation
What a blast from the past! Amazing job, congrats to everyone involved
That was very impressive, especially for a Fan Project.
The Fight was nicely done, everybody got something to do, and it was generally pretty fun. :)
This production just perpetuates the notion that there are some fan productions that can outclass the current RWBY content being put out by CRWBY.
am i just being weird or did anyone tear up from a sense of nostalgia after watching this?
just me? aight then :((
I did. You ain't alone.
I legit wanna cry tbh
Monty's creation may have been bastardized by corporatism, but his spirit lives on in the passion of all these fan animators and creative minds.
Yo, Ruby Rose actually being animated how she should be. I don't think the scythe has been used creatively (as an actual scythe) since the first scene of Vol 1 against the Dust Robbers. Well done.
Also, all the combat looks god tier here. Looking forward to more,
Ain't that just Monty's fault though
Indeed!! It was great seeing Ruby use it as a gun. Currently I don't remember her doing that since V6.
@@DocMicrowave She uses it as a gun in some capacity whenever against people. Because for whatever reasons animators have an aversity to showing her slash at human opponents, even though Aura makes the potential gore a non-issue.
olserknam. As far as I can remember, the last time Ruby used her weapon to shoot At someone is in the ending episodes of V5. She shot at and broke Leo's aura.
Since then she hardly uses her weapon as a gun. Especially in V7 & V8. Not even for the recoil boost. She mostly wacks away at Grimm with her Scythe now. (Which we also did not see alot of because plot moved her far and away from any generic Grimm to fight.)
I detect a bit of a left leaning gun control message being injected into the show as of late.
If you notice, the "heroes" rarely use their weapons to shoot at anything anymore. (At least on screen). Only the "villains" are shown with gun play on screen. Only they are shown shooting at other people, or at the heroes.
It's all about the optics. Despite one of the original hooks of the show being 'every weapon is also a gun'.
Now the writers can't have the heroes shown shooting anything. It might be considered a pro-gun stance. Ruby doesn't even use it for a recoil boost anymore.
Of course this is part and partial to many other progressive themes popping up in the show since V6.
Last time Blang and Yake shot at anyone was in their big fight with Adam at the end of V6.
Even when JRY was dropped in the middle of the battlefield trying to get into Monstro, the writers didn't want to show them shooting their way through. So, boom! Next time we see them they are safely all the way in the whale. (Of course the other reason for that was because there would be NO sensible or logical way to show how they made it into the whale unscathed. So there's that also.)
One of my biggest gripes about the fight on the platforms at the end of V8, where Yang falls, Why did she throw her body at Neo instead of just shooting her!?
Again, seems to be bad optics to show the Heroes using the gun function of their weapons in a fight anymore. (Also, there was the need to setup a silly BB moment so there's that too.)
Not to mention, it was Cinder there in the final battle! Why not everybody just open fire on her while she is monologing!!
Definitely some bit of an anti-gun messaging has been chisled into the show as of late.
@@DocMicrowave Well, I don't know about the writers, but you for one sure seem to be very bothered by the exact amounts of gun usage in the show.
My jaw was on the floor after watching this. The voices, music, animation, fight choreography, everything is PERFECT. This would fit right in as a canon episode of V1, and it truly makes me long for that simpler era of RWBY. Everyone involved with this did a phenomenal job, bravo.
For a moment I felt like I was back in 2013 watching RWBY for the very first time
Why was this so good???? STOP MAKING ME MISS THE OLD DAYS OF THIS SHOW-
That was pretty good to be honest O:
Now let's make this an Alt Universe, where things didn't go south, and both teams are intact.
Better than all of vol 4-8’s fights combined (at least in my opinion other’s are free to disagree) while it lacked fluidity and proper physics, it completely made up for it in every other aspect the speed, power and choreography and even utilization of abilities was just amazing. Even the personality of the characters outside of the hostile encounter was really well done and well… in character lol. I know it must’ve been hell to animate but i would definitely like to see a continuation of this whether in the near or far future… thanks for sharing this work and take care!
This was amazing, really took me back to the good classic days of the show, great way to start my morning
Fuck I would seriously watch this. It feels like old good ol times and feels so much better than anything RT has put out. I love this
I haven't felt my heart beat in my chest at the start of a fight like this since those first three volumes. Amazingly done. Tears are in my eyes, these gere are the characters I fell in love with almost a decade ago, not the flip floppy characters they are now.
Weiss's voice actor is doing a fantastic job 👏
Who also happens to be one of the main animators for this. Talk about a skillset!
@@SwitchbackCh A job well done indeed
Amazing that you got this done with a team in two weeks! It really feels like vol 1. I wish I had that much perseverance to do something like that in two weeks.
I’m gonna be honest. If there’s one thing I still love about RWBY, it’s gotta be the fans who inspired to create things like this. Awesome work!
Bless you! 7:51
Geez this REALLY takes me back to the early days of RWBY back when things were simple and well made SENSE! This felt nostalgic and I could really feel the energy and passion within these 8 minutes, this just reminds me of WHY we liked/loved RWBY. Thank you for letting us relive the love we've made with this series by bringing out what made it so good, thank you and all those who worked on it because it paid off!
Holy mother of God. This is amazing. And you guys did this in two weeks? That's super insane. I would never use that time limit for something as awesome as this. I seriously love this. I even love the voice actors as well. Nice job everyone! Please be proud of this thing you've created. It's definitely worth it.
You made the Grimm a touch more terrifying than CRWBY ever did, then again not a high bar to surpass.
Holy cow is that Tina?!. Also amazing animation. I actually felt like I was watching an episode of RWBY for a moment. You are seriously talented. I could rewatch this over and over again and I probably will. This will never get old.
Yup! Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Did Monty’s rule of cool rly well here. Classic rwby feel. Love it
weiss fighting style has always been my favorite, you dont even know how i missed him, thank you!
This feels so authentic! Just like the good old times.
I honestly love the display of teamwork, each individual member showing off their abilities, and the consequences of the characters not paying attention to what they do resulting in mistakes. It makes the fights so much more fun to watch and awesome to re-watch over and over again.
Like at 6:00 where Ruby didn't think about the consequences of doing such a powerful attack while Yang is still close by, resulting in Yang suffering a heavy blow from the Scorpion. Also it's so nice seeing Weiss and Blake actually be competent. Haven't seen that in a while.
Okay, this was hilarious with the name mix-up and awesome with that battle!
This was really amazing, please consider doing more, haha though maybe on a time schedule that allows you to keep your sanity.
The trolling of Weiss is brilliant lol!
This is amazing! Can't believe it was done in 2 weeks
Loved the comedy, the character interactions and the epic fight scene
This came up in my recommendation feed, so I clicked on it on a whim and to my surprise, this was very well animated, directed and written with some excellent impersonations as well.
Awesome stuff. 10/10. 👏🏻
This makes me miss the good old days when me and buddies watched RWBY together.
Still better than volumes 4-9
I don't know why yang saying 'UUUUUUWeiss~" got me too hard. I love it.
Ah. Yes. UwUeiss Schnee my favorite RUBY Character.
Edit: Oops. Wrong name. Yes, Weiss Sneeze is my favorite character.
I love it! Y'all clearly put a lot of effort into this and it turned out really good.
Holy cow, that was sensational!!! The music, the voices, the action, the character interactions, just wow! Well worth your sanity. :) Monty would be proud!
And that's the animation we missed all these years. Well done, Cake and gang!
2 weeks? for all this??? Legitimately unbelievable, you guys completely smashed it!
Wow good work you all!!!! 2 Weeks and this comes out? INSANE! and S/O to Jump's Boss foreal hahaha
THAT WAS AMAZING
God I wish I could animate like this
It really does remind me of how the first volume was. And for a two week period, this was very well done. Voice Acting was good too.
The intro alone is perfect. Nothing else needs to be done.
Very proud of the team, this was an amazing experience!
Amazing work! Really reminded me of the old RWBY and now I’m feeling all nostalgic
gahhh!!!!! this made me so happy!!!!!! the light-heartedness of vol 1 mixed with the fighting style I WISH they utilized again just took me back to my happy place :’D I wanna thank everyone involved for making this! I couldn't be happier
Brilliant fight scenes. I've always loved Blake's fighting style and you've done it justice! Thanks for the hard work! Always great work on the "Weiss Schneez" lol
Wow. Fluid and creative fight scenes, Weiss actually using her sword like a sword, teamwork, Blake being competent, the girls still having personality, comedic timing. This has so many elements that RWBY itself has been missing for quite a while. Great job.
I wish this had been an episode of the show. They really went in some weird directions narratively.
Weiss fought better in this fan animation than she has through seasons 7-9. Wonderfully done.
Yo this is sick! The animation is amazing! And whoever voices Ruby sounds pretty much on point imo. Can't wait to see more!
Eyyy! Thanks
-(voice of Ruby) Tina
4:31 nice Haloid homage
I'm 100% certain Monty would be proud of this. Please make more.
Let's go. This is going to be so good. The V1 and V2 style---is so nice.
It's aesthetic is novel
Ah the memories
@@water_color Just like old times.
wow i actually enjoyed this... mad props to errr'body who worked on this 👏👏👏
Two weeks? Impossible! Guys! I can't imagine how hard you worked!
This kind of stuff is amazing! I love when people try to replicate style, and even trying to hit specific limitations while doing so. It really did capture what Volume 1 was all about, but there was still enough space for you to really get in your own style here, some better animations there, etc. A particular bit I liked was the use of the camera, as well as the timing. The glyphs spinning before the ice wave in particular was *neat.*
This is two weeks? Wtf man, this is beautiful! You must have a pretty awesome team together. Excellent work! If someone had told me this was an official outtake from the real show, I would've believed them. Y'all are really carrying the torch here. Also, Weiss's voice? Good job, haha!
It's incredible you made it in two weeks ! It's really like an episode from Volume 1, I love it !! ♥
Bravo. For 2 weeks this is impressive and captures volume 1 perfectly in all its facets, from animation to writing and deliveries
