Bakugo's Arc Makes NO Sense! (until it does)

- Hello comrades! This one has been brewing for a while, because I ALWAYS like to talk about Bakugo's character development, since many people think it's non-existent or starts way too late. No, Kachan has arguably the most amount growth out of all the students and his changes start as early as Season 1. However, those changes are not necessarily good and that's what makes it interesting. Hope you find my analysis of Katsuki interesting and/or entertaining.

Deku and Kachan with One For All gave me goosebumps. One of my favorite scenes.
Deku: "Kacchan, why do you hate me?!"
Bakugo: "Because the only concepts I have of Justice and success are based on strengths, and any challenge to that ideology feels like an attack on me. So when someone I perceive as weak compete with me, my first instinct is to crush the life out of them, so I can reassure my own worldview!"

Honestly, until season 6, the only good thing about katsuki was the fact he wasn't all talk, he was top of his class, best in combat courses, knew creative ways to use his quirk, including moving around opponents, and even flying! With explosions of all things!? But he was a d-ck and bully, that was spoiled and told he was best. So what if he could put his money where his mouth was, that doesn't mean sh-- when he was a total jacka--!?
That was the whole point of his character arc.
@@mahistv his character ark didn't change the fact he suicide baited deku or the ten year long bullying. As someone who at one point WAS suicidal from bullying I can tell you that if this was real life, Deku would NOT have forgiven Bakugou and if he DID? It would have been so he wasn't holding onto the past and they sure as hell wouldn't be friends

Another great My Hero Academia video! Bakugou is at once an interesting yet frustrating character for me. You did a great job of laying out his growth into a decent human being as well as tying some of his similarities to Izuku. I'd not quite put those together!
I do want to point out that his pledging to be number one at the sports festival can be see as not offensive...but the hand gesture he gives can not. From everything I've encountered, the thumbs down gesture is considered rude in Japan. But, I am not Japanese so I'm no expert.
Otherwise, fantastic! You've given me some things to chew on concerning Great Explosion Murder God Dynamite!

I get that. For me, it never really dropped as many people online say it did. I was excited every time a new season came out and was hooked with it almost instantly

With all the sketchy red flags, character & his conduct. None of the teachers didn’t think to do a background check on Bakugo.

@@mahistv if they did a background check on the ua traitor who was born quirkless there gotta medical reports of him not having a quirk they would have been able to find out afo is alive and get him
How did Sero fail, yet Bakugo passed?

@@mahistv During the Finals Exam, Sero got incapacitated by Midnight but he made sure Mineta got to safety. Mineta rescued & carried Sero to the exit.
Bakugo got KO’ed by All Might & and Izuku had to rescue him.

@@Karlos1234ify Those are hardly the same thing. Each student was paired based on strengths and weaknesses and assigned to the most fitting teachers to push their growth. Aizawa paired bakugo and deku because of their individual strengths/weaknesses but mostly because of how strained their relationship is. Their exam was not only meant to improve them as heroes but as co-workers too. They both overcame their shortcomings, and their relationship took a step forward.
Sero got knocked out before he could actually do anything.

Why do you dislike black clover?
It's amalgamates all the shonen tropes and ideas, while not being good at a single one of the. Bunch of ideas are stole from other shows (Gaara/Ice dude form diamond kingdom). Production is horrific, plot is all over the place, MC always saves the day while everybody else is useless (excluding the most powerful characters like Yami, Julius etc) and the entire show is built on asspulls and convenience.
