the point about reactions is super noticeable once you talked about it. i think the biggest thing about sfat that i notice in fox dittos (like against hax most recently) is that hes able to react to like EVERYTHING, even from a player as twitchy as hax. definitey looks like a different player vs puff, much less setplay and much more ad hoc kills which is probably why he hasnt had as much success in the matchup. maybe its just one of those changing frame of mind things
Cody you talk about reacting to pound vs up air and doing the opposite DI. That's a 12 frame window to react in the melee engine. Even Wizzy isn't able to do that consistently, we have the unclepunch reaction test too so we know 99.9% of people can't even get 12 frame reactions in game. Idk that one doesn't seem consistently viable. Even accounting for hitlag that's super tight. You would have to react to the fact it was pound and change your DI extremely quickly. Only a few frame window when accounting for the actions you have to do and time to recognize the specific animation. You gotta remember she also has Bair as a mixup in that same tree and she does the turnaround for the bair too (which you can't react in time on hit to change DI to). So if you DI up air out and try to react to pound and get baired you're in an edgegaurd situation against Puff. It's not bad in theory but in practice I just don't think it's possible.
HBox's mentality had had been down in the gutter for a while. So while it is not the most impressive tournament win, it is a win regardless. He is getting better lately but still hasn't reached his top form yet. I would highly recommend the videos that Cody did with hbox just to grasp how bad his mentality was like 2 months back.
@@Cian1312 I saw those. Personally, I dislike Hbox a lot. And whenever he pops off, like no matter who it is against or what the situation is, I just hate him a little bit more lol. The only person to win with grace has been Zain imo.

After seeing how Hbox wins, loses, talks, makes videos, streams, etc etc., I've concluded that I don't like him. Him popping off like a cursing child only reinforces my negative picture of him. I think that you should handle a win with dignity and professionalism, no matter the circumstances. If you have a problem with that, well, that seems like a personal problem and I'm afraid I can't help you :)
