    Thank you! So much attention to detail! Now I know what to do to assembly multiple case fans and how to achieve a better air flow. I'm a laptop user for over a decade so I'm quite used to high temperatures and fan noise, but it's about to change now =D

    My case came with 4 fans already and my AIO came with 2 140s but I will be changing all of them for reverse fans except for the case fan. The reserve fans make the case look a lot cleaner.

    • @ThisBytesForYou
      @ThisBytesForYou  Месяц назад +1

      Before you change them all to reverse fans, verify that the pressure and airflow is better, compare and contrast, all fans are not built the same.

    • @ThisBytesForYou
      @ThisBytesForYou  2 года назад +2

      No, but I may do one soon. I highly recommend removeing the drive from the enclosure, and connecting it to the sATA ports and trying the 3rd party tools there, if they don't work, you can send your drive to Data Matrix to get recovered, if your data is that important, it will costs at least 1 thousand dollars, I have used them and they are great..... but not cheap.

    I considered doing the radiator inside the case (top mounted) and fans on outside as exhaust but I like the idea of the dust filter. But I guess with this set up the dust would never get inside with this setup.

    I see few components in common or almost 👀 Corsair 5000D Airflow- RGB 12V Arctic P12 fans 6 of them with 3 on my Arctic freezer II 360mm RGB. But can't fit the AIO as top mounted so had to do it front mounted 🙁 unfortunately the fan on the AIO hit the CPU 8 pin connector. Anyway Nice video as always and price for performance i really like these fans.

    can you make a video to how attach an internal case fan on your nvme ssd, a thermal pad is next to useless outside cold climates and this is a very expensive piece of equipment which for some reason people think throttling leads to no damage

    • @ThisBytesForYou
      @ThisBytesForYou  2 месяца назад +2

      NVME drives don't have a pinout to connect a fan nor the ability to transfer power. You need to connect a fan, like I show you here to the motherboard and aim at the drive and maybe add a heatsink to it, like this a.co/d/07w29SnN

    Great Video! Just found this channel today....No RGB Header on motherboard at all, Not too easy to Access my Front fans on my Thermaltake V200 TG RGB Case...but if i was gonna replace fans think i'd look into these fans in the future. (This case has a front like Window in front of the fans, not to easy to get to lol though) Eventually gonna get me a Corasir 4000D Airflow or 5000D Airflow case in the future i think. Though Noticed Rear Fan in my Thermaltake V200 TG RGB case isn't even at the Top of case in it's rear spot

    I gets properly confused when it comes to fans, lol, I upgraded my PC case from a small form factor Phantek case, Top case but the small cases gather dust really badly, So I upgraded to a MSI MAG Forge 320r Airflow gaming case, Fantastic case for the price, MSI even got one that is a 100r I think lol, A bit cheaper than the 320r case, But the Mag 320r case is amazing, I can install 11 fans in it if I wanted, lol, Overkill on fans so I only got 8, But there is only one fan header on the motherboard, I think the motherboard was the biggest mistake of putting the i5 12600k CPU and a 3060 12gb GPU, Great combo by the way, I can get Beam NG and AMS2 looking great considering, I only got a 60hrz TV so anything over 60FPS would be a waste of time wouldn't it? lol, Can tell I am still a newbie new to Sim Racing on a PC, And I been using a PC now for about 2 years I think, Console was wasted money, If you want to do Sim Racing you need a PC, Sim Racing is a different world with a PC, But yeah I installed another 2 fans the other day, I got a thermalright fan splitter box for the ARGB, But because I am still a newbie to PC building, I had a friend show me, So next time I will be able to put the PC together, But I am still on the fence about fans, lol, I gets confused like brain fog comes along when it comes to getting ARGB on fans without getting confused on what goes where, lol, I am good a lot of things that involves your hand and brain at the same time, But when I am bad at something, I am bad, lol, I have not got the spare money to buy bits if something goes wrong, Brings me on to the motherboard, Mistake I made was getting a cheaper board, Thinking it will still do the same, Only getting one M.2 was a stupid mistake thinking I wouldn't use or need more M.2 drives, Wrong, I have a crucial M.2 drive and no extra slot for the M.2, So it is probably better to put a bit more into the motherboard with the price, Pay extra, I got a Gigabyte H601i motherboard, Although it is a decent motherboard for gaming and everyday use, I wish I payed a bit more and got a better motherboard with better Ram capabilities ect, And more than one M.2 drive, lol, I didn't realize that the motherboard can make such a big difference, So I am thinking I needs to upgrade the motherboard a bit now, I can't go crazy but if anyone can tell me what is the best motherboard for the i5 12600k, It is a fantastic CPU for gaming, Again I am wishing I did get the i7 12th gen, That will be later down the line when I come across an I9 deal, lol, I seen motherboard, CPU and Ram bundles but I am not rich enough to spend 500 pounds in one hit though, If I could I would be getting 40 series GPU, Though I will say the 3060 12gb is a great medium settings GPU, Beam NG looks fantastic on my TV, Most Sim Racing titles you don't see the difference from medium to high settings, It is when you get to ultra of the highest setting you can do, But from medium to high I don't see much difference, lol, I am getting 60 FPS on Beam and AMS2, And any other Sim Racing title, And on a 60hrz TV 60 FPS actually looks pretty smooth, I don't get frame freezing, And that is the main thing, As long as I got smooth gameplay then I am all good, I am grateful of the PC I have even though it ain't no high end monster, It still runs the Sim racing far better than a console, And now you can build a PC not far away from what a console costs with I would argue better specs, I seen a few vids on You tube doing that, All be it used parts, lol, If you find honest sellers who looks after what they got, You can actually find some top used PC bits, I only buy new because of the warranty is more important for me....
    Good video though, Explains in English what needs to be done, It must be my brain and fans, I can never get my head around what where goes where, lol, I will keep at it until I know fully though, lol, Just will keep watching vids like this I guess, lol...
    Yeah what Motherboard would be good with an i5 12600k and a 3060 mainly for Sim Racing and a bit of music production, I am getting back into the Hip Hop producing soon as well, What would be a good motherboard?
    Happy Do It Yourself PC'ing 2, lol...
    Oh yeah the MSI Mag Forge 320r Is a great case, Would go great with the MSI MOBO you got...

And due to extensive gaming i do , it cost my cpu in the run past 3 years. I am now upgrading to 7800X3D , but I'll make sure now i have tbe proper inflow and outflow. Thanks a lot. I was confused but you made a very good video about a very basic thing most people miss out. Also regarding a question is it okay if my radiator is above my pump fans ? I am using a 240mm MSI AIO Cooler. Should it be of any issue ?

      you would connect a cpu fan to the cpu fan header, an AIO pump to the AIO pump header, if you dont have an AIO pump header, you would connect it to cha_fan. or any other header that can be controlled by PWM in the BIOS. This fan, would go connected to any other header that is not cpu fan and set to PWM.

      if that case has ARGB fans, you would connect them to an ARGB header but your board doesnt have aRGB only RGB. If you dont care about the RGB, it will still work fine, it just wont be lit. @@ThisBytesForYou i want to be able to control the fan speed and change the RGB with software. If I guess correctly, i need 4 pins 12V PWM fan connector for my fan and 3 pins 5V for the ARGB right? I want to install 7 RGB fan in my chassis like 3 top, 3 front, and 1 for rear fan. I'm planning to get the MSI MAG Z790 TOMAHALK motherboard which have 3 ARGB Gen2 and 6 fan headers so i guess i cant install them all directly to the motherboard cause there arent enough fan & ARGB header.
      Please correct me if i'm wrong. So basically to install the 7 ARGB fan, i need the fan splitter cable at least 1 1-to-2 4 pins PWM fan splitter to make it have enough for 7 PWM fan if the fan doesnt have daisy chain cable like in the video. (at around 10:03)
      Another thing, I need ARGB extension or female splitter cable to add more ARGB connector enough for 7 ARGB headers and use the main header connect it to the motherboard.
      If all the summery i did above are correct, i have another question. If I want to make the 3 front fans, 3 top fans, and the 1 rear fan have different color, do i have to get 2 1-to-3 ARGB fan splitter for the 3 front and 3 top fan? or can i just change their color differently in the software?
