How To Install a Fan Hub + How To Install an Addressable RGB Hub

- In this video I show You how to install a Fan hub and how to connect lots of fans in your PC. With this method you could theoretically connect 20 fans in your PC (although you may not need that many)...(or do you?? 👀) I'll let you decide.. Plus I show you how to install an addressable RGB Hub in your PC AND I also show you how to get my super cool dual tone (dual color) effect on all your fans and on the Lian Li Strimer Plus cables! I had tons of questions on how to do all of these things and I figured putting it all into one video would be the most efficient way. I hope this video was helpful and I hope you enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed making it! Again I wanna thank all of you for all the amazing support!

#10FanHub #HowToInstallFanHub #RGBHub #ARGBFanHub - Хобби
Finally a youtuber with brain who Shows and explains what he does ty
Thanks so much 🙏
second that, about as straight forward a description as possible. Upgrading my dying rattling fans this with a hub. One stop tutorial.
@@BuildsWithV hey man i was thinking if fan hubs could control fans of two different brands at once. Like msi and antec fans together
@@daivatpandya yes you can control any brand as long as the connectors are the same for the hub.
TRUE!
You kept it simple and moving at a nice pace, very easy to understand and follow, appreciated the added links.Kudos.
This is the best well informed video I have seen on this subject, and I've watched a few in preparation for taking the plunge and building my own PC rather than buying a pre-built (when you can actually find any parts in stock again).
This is without a doubt the most well informed video on fan hubs, there are tons of channels with completely incorrect info out there. Thank you!
This was exactly what I needed. Straight to the point and crystal clear on the explanations. Thx for the vid!
Glad I could help out 🙌 Thank you for watching 🙏
@@BuildsWithV clear as mud! lol Some of the terminology throws me. Addressable vs. non-addressable? What does that mean? Also, the abrev. letters on the motherboard...WTH?
@@Drrezzin I think what he meant by Addressable and non-Addressable RBG was ARBG & RBG.
RGB is changing the colour of the lights but on the whole fan while ARGB is the same + you can also change each individual led light inside the fan, e.g. If the fan has 10 led lights inside it, you can change them all to different colours thus giving you dynamic illuminated effect.
I know you asked this question a month ago but hey, there you go. About the letters on the MB i don't know but you can probably check it out on google.
Seriously, This was literally the most helpful video I saw on youtube explaining how rgb hubs and fan hubs work! You have my thanks, Now I'm more confident about my first build
Glad I could help 🙌 thanks so much
You video was one of the easiest to follow and learn about the way the fan rgb and power works. Thank you so much for this video. I really appreciate it.
Thanks. This is a very useful video. I'm building a new gaming rig. I haven't built one for 15 years. Things have changed a bit since then. I was confused with all the RGB wiring and hubs etc. Good job, man.
Bro I'm ordering all my parts and I'm learning day by day how to build a pc. Scrolling forums and youtube videos till 5 AM. Your videos have been legendary!!!! In depth descriptions of steps, and you talk at the perfect speed!!!
fr
Thank you! Just finished installing 7 fans, and realized that I needed something to plug all of them in. Didn't know what an rgb fan hub was till I watched your video lol.
Happy to help 🙏 Thank you for watching
thank you brother really appreciated finally someone thought about the new people getting into pc and these things are difficult then they might sound and i think you are the only one explaining this in detail i was scratching my head since almost 3 days with lian li ST120 fans hope this solve my problem
Tysm you are like the best pc building youtuber your explanations are straight forward but still very precise and detailed and what i especially love about it is that you include absolutely everything you use in your description.
I appreciate that 🙏 Thank YOU so much for watching 🙌
PERFECT TIMING! I was just about to buy it but couldn't find a good tutorial. Thank you so so much! SUBBED!!!!
Awesome! So glad I could help 🙏 Thank you for the support
Thank you so much for keeping it simple and to the point, it really helped unlike other misleading or time wasting videos.
I’m glad I could help 🙌
Thanks for easing my anxiety about the hub (my case came with one) I was freaking out when I saw it but your guide was simple and easy to follow
This is my first time doing a PC build with an RGB case. My LIAN LI case came with a hub but the instructions are pictorial and sketchy. Even on the LIAN LI RUclips page, they don't show how to set one up. Thank you so much for this tutorial. It saved me a lot of head-scratching.
This had to be the most useful tutorial I've seen yet. I ended up getting the all-in-one HUB you linked, and it's been a big help. The only issue I came across was that my Gigabyte B450M DS3H motherboard has a single 12V RGB header on it. I opted to use Deepcool's RGB convertor. It came with a wire that I could connect from my motherboard to the convertor itself, THEN to the hub. I originally had a daisy chain with 4 male 5V headers that I almost considered plugging into one header on the hub, but even with limited experience, I felt like that would be _very_ bad. Either way, I just plugged all of my RGB fans in onto the hub itself and it actually... worked. As a beginner this was pretty baffling but worth it. Thanks _a lot._ Seriously.
I'm actually in the same situation lol was going to order 6 fans that are 5v but only have the 12v header! How's this been working for ya? Would you recommend grabbing the all-in-one and the convertor? Been on the fence just thinking about buying and trying while I was researching haha.
Bro, I’ve been searching ALL day for a video like this. Thank you so much! Keep it up
Thanks so much 🙏 Glad I could help 💯
You know, I am German... but there are less german videos than english ones... AND THEN I FOUND THIS! an english vid, where the point I am looking for is explained detailed and crystal clear, and the language is spoken in a good speed, so everyone, even if coming from abroad, can easily understand the explenantion. Thank u very much :)
I’m glad I was able to help 🙌 Thanks so much
About time! A proper. Video explaining this process concisely
Excellent vid my dude. answered all the questions I has about aRGB and I love the way you broke it into thee parts... huge plus for no awful music or cringe worthy intro
This is the thing that I was looking everywhere, Thank you so much, Already subscribed and shared this vid, peace :)))
So happy it helped! Thanks for watching and all the support 🙏
Also just about to go down that multi-colour setup, having the 2 ARGB headers will make this workable. Many thanks for explaining BOTH standard and RGB setups.
You deserved 1m+ subscriber, thankyou for this helpful and informative videos🥇
Really appreciate the video tutorial. I will definitely use this as a guide for my next PC build. Unfortunately all I can get at the moment is the fans while everything else is sold out or 2-3x MSRP lol
Finally a true tutorial
I loved the video. I only watched it to figure out if these hubs have a dedicated ARGB controller, but you answered that and more! Awesome work.
Glad I could help 🙌 Thanks for watching 🙏
Thank you for a easy to follow and get to the point video ! And all the links in the description! Subscribed!!
You’re very welcome and thank you for watching 🙏
A lot of other you tubers show the bigger aspects of pc building like the gpu and cpu but forget to show the more mundane stuff like fans so it’s great to find someone explaining it in a simple way that makes sense
Yea they make it seem so easy and once we get to connecting rgbs it’s like wtf haha I’m literally stuck at this part 1st build and I was confused like how the hell do I installed these 2 fans in lol
Excellent, no-nonsense and succinct video. 👍
I quite like solid colours in the case (which I have) and the option to pick via RGB/aRGB, but I have to say that some rigs I've seen are so OTT they look like they've been used as a holding pen for miniature unicorns with severe gastroenteritis! 🌈🦄🤮
🤣🤣
You're a life saver. Thanks so much; I've been looking everywhere for a video that can tell me where exactly I should plug everything in. My case needs 5 fans and my motherboard only has a few fan headers on it.
Always happy to help ✅ Thank you for watching 🙏
This video was a blessing to find. Planning a build with 10+ case fans and I was dying to figure out if the 3pin fans I had would be alright on the 4pin fan hubs. Big thanks.
I’m glad I could help 🙌
I’m gonna build my very first pc soon and for some reason info on Argb/rgb is so hard to find for a beginner. This vid helped me with fan hubs and all of the above, thank you so much for the video! It really helped out a lot 👌
I’m really glad I could help 🙌
Easy Sub.
Straight to the point and what i was looking for. Thank you.
THANK YOU SO MUCH i searched for a tutorial for so LONG that actually makes sense
one of the best videos bro excellent infro. got yourself a new sub.
Dude looking awesome great job!
The only video I found about this, thank you very much you solved my doubts, pretty well explained, 10/10
You actually show the process of plugged in the cords and showing what you need to do instead of cutting away to the end. Nice
Yeah man this was great. Ive been trying to learn about how case fans work and what the hell a fan hub even is but every other video I watched about it just glazed over it as if it wasn’t worth taking about all that much. This was very clear and answered basically all my questions 👍🏻
Thanks so much. 🙏 I’m glad I could help out
I like how complete yet simple you explain dude. Thank you
No problem at all, happy to help 🙌
Dude.... thank you!
This is the kind of tutorial i've been searching for, the other videos on youtube is confusing because they tend to talking in circle and explaining too much technicality BS... 🤷🏻♂️😂
From 1:50 to 4:25 is the only stuff i really needed for... once again Gracias! 🍻
I jus got a new dual chamber case that can have 10 fans and this was very very useful. Thank you!

Thanks so much 😊🙏 Yes you can plug the radiator fans into the ARGB hub to control the lighting
