Because people see only face not heart
It's not about the society but rather ourselves. Suppose if there's a person who has a bulbous nose and there's another person who has bulbous nose. Due to n number of reasons, one outta them may not like their nose but on the other side, another person with same bulbous nose might be okay and feel confident in it.
Life as a person with retrognathic jaw is difficult. It gets difficult to breath, eat, sleep... Thus, it shouldn't be considered a cosmetic surgery.

I am old patient of rhinoplasty here. I think this dr doesn't know how to surgery well he is experimenting on live patients. Please stay away from this doctor 🙏 there are many doctors you can choose any other but not him. Please don't make the same mistake I made

Much better, improvement in shape of lips, chin. It's not 100% but so much better.
I had a symmetrical under bite and surgery about 25 years ago. So much better after but one spot remains numb on my chin.

She's beautiful even before surgery. If she doesn't have functional problem, then it seems she will never feel satisfied, even after repeated procedures. As per her conversation with the doctor it seems she's searching for perfection which is unachievable except few exceptions. She needs counselling...Cosmetic surgery is not Graphic Designing (her profession)...
No human being is ever comoletely sarisfied with something.

I really loved the way he explained everything,not only the diet but the procedure mainly what anesthesia he is giving and how is he giving,
When i underwent tonsillectomy the doctor didnt even explain me the procedure he just kept me on the table and did his work and left off.

The change was fairly subtle. Not sure the patient got the result she wanted. But retrognathia that was very pronounced was corrected at least some. Bless her heart.
