It's people like you who have helped me with my life. I'm a burn victim .
I caught on fire at 5 years old 75% at 3rd degree in 1966 .my father was a navy pilot in the Vietnam war and his Commander had me moved to this hospital in Texas it was a burn unit and because of the war they needed to help the men who were burned but it was the first burn unit and they didn't know a lot back then.
Any after I got out months later, my mom always made sure I was covered so people wouldn't know it was her way of protecting me from people being mean. I wished that she hadn't done that because when I became an adult I didn't know how to deal with it and had been having flash backs all growing up so I ended up losing my mind it took many years of therapy to get where I am today at the age of 60 now.
But like I said, people like you have helped me the most, and I love you for that. You are positive and have beautiful energy ✨️

I’m going through a divorce and I thought that was the hardest thing life can throw at you.. God was I wrong!!! Yet you are in a far better mood and have so much joy in your heart.. I thank God for leading me to this channel.. if you’re able to still find purpose in life despite such a horrible accident then I KNOW I can get through this season in my life! As someone who suffers from a serious chronic illnesses, I can completely understand and fully sympathize with what you’re experiencing and going through on a daily basis just to try to maintain a daily ‘normal life’.
I have to do daily TPN infusions just to get nutrition because my complete digestive system/tract is so severely damaged by sarcoidosis for 22 years. So I get it about all the extra steps that need to be done just to ‘maintain’…I’ve got to do that too! But you’ve got me beat, and I’ve got nothing but respect for you doing it all with one hand!
We are warriors, don’t ever forget that. I’d be happy to be your friend.
I commend your gorgeous wife for supporting you and staying strong to your marriage vows. In sickness and in health. My husband has been my strength and my rock. We’ve been married 20 years. I couldn’t do this without him.

Loren is the MOST COURAGEOUS human being that I have ever learned about. He makes every other person alive appear to be cowardly by comparison. If I had to face his challenges I would not survive for 24 hours. My medical problems are TRIVIAL next to his and I hope that God will permit me to meet him someday soon to warmly hug him and to give him a big gift.

I’m just amazed at your positive attitude. I am a mother of four, and as a mother this breaks my heart but at the same time, Loren, your family must be so thankful and blessed to have you with them, and still able to do so much. I can tell that you are young and strong and with all the advancements they are making in medicine-especially prosthetics, I would imagine you will walk again with the help of bionic legs and have the use of a bionic arm. I feel this technology is on the horizon and you will still be a young man when it becomes available. I pray that you keep getting more and more of your former mobility back as these medical advancements become available. You are an amazing young man! Your attitude and resiliency will allow you to do anything you want to do in life. So glad I stumbled upon this video.

My aunt was my hero. She was born with a rare disease called V.A.D.E.R.S. Each letter standes for something.the doctors gave my aunt 3 days to live. She surprised them all when she made it to age 37. I share he story with everyone I meet complaining about how their life is so bad. She was the type of person your best friend spends all their time with when they are staying with you for a few hours or your best friend comes over to see rather than you. I'd give almost anything for the chance to see her again. When I see people like this hands man it makes me smile and feel like i have my aunt with me, because they are the true heroes.they are the ones that look death in the face every day and say "I chose to live". I want to say thank you to this man and the many others out there from showing us what it truly means to never give up.

This young man is truly enlightened.
I suffer from Gastro paresis, type 1 diabetic, and other mental illnesses’ Bipolar with Psychotic episodes, Bipolar with mood swings, Anxiety that leads to panic attacks, Autism spectrum, self harm, and uncontrollable Tremors….and I don’t like to talk about it because it’s embarrassing.
Now I’m on a path to Enlightenment, and this young man has beat me to it….he’s a Inspiration to me.
I want to have true happiness…. And this video has helped me try harder, and love my self.

What impressed me MOST was how many times during his “mundane chores” that we ALL take for granted was the amount of times he sang or whistled. Zero complaints.... only to hear oh yeah they are working on my pain. Which is pretty bad. How many of you.... myself included..... would have been taking a few of those. Дело не в позитиве, он позитивный на камеру, в жизни это огромная душевная травма и потеря, не говоря уже о невозможности личной жизни. Но в этой жизни есть куча плюсов, как у любого тяжелого инвалида. Например, возможность посвящать больше времени другим вещам, не тем, которые предпочитают полностью здоровые люди. Карьера, секс, погоня за прибылью отходят на второй план или уходят из жизни совсем. В замен ты получаешь душевный покой, посвящение себя полностью своему хобби, домашним делам, чтению, виртуальным путешествиям. И это не меньшее удовольствие! Пишу, так как сам инвалид 1 группы и знаю о чем говорю. Поэтому и в таком казалось бы удручающем состоянии можно жить полноценной насыщенной жизнью. Просто многим трудно это понять, они привыкли к другой жизни. И это тоже нормальная ситуация. Каждому - свое!

The amount of trauma a human body can take and still keep functioning and even thrive is incredible. I'm glad this showed up on my recommended, stuff like this is always really cool to see. Makes me feel a bit better about my own disabilities, like if you can adapt with physical trauma I can adapt with mental illness.
But it's also as frail as a porcelain doll. We can survive intense trauma but we also die from a cold. It's great to see people overcome the harshest situations, however, make sure to take care of yourself if you have a "small" issue.

I'm suffering from various health problems as it comes with the territory of being almost 81 I guess but seeing you really encourages me to deal with whatever I have to deal with. So this is very inspirational😮

I think this guy is amazing! He must be very strong emotionally. He must be loved tremendously.
Your positive attitude despite your limitations is such an inspiration. We recently lost a family member that was like a son to us who lost his arms,legs and ears in a 3rd degree gasoline explosion when he was 10. He passed days before Christmas at the age of 41 and was never expected to live. He was the most positive person I ever knew and thankful for everything he had. He didnt complain about what he didn't have. He was such an inspiration. I admire your strength and appreciate your honesty and for sharing your journey.
