FYI, IHC was completely out of their brand of coil spring spacer. So that is why I was sent the 1” coil spacer that was shown in the video. After talking to IHC I found this out along with the fact that their coil pring spacer comes with instructions to stall it at the top of the spring in the spring pocket. So I had to pull some of the front end back apart to take the spring out and move it to the top. This did raise the front end some and moved it to the 4” drop up front instead of 5”. I’ll also mention that at 5” inches of drop up front, I was unable to get the camber better than -1.25 degrees which is not close enough to where you need to be.

Your video helped make a decision on how much to lower my truck (2006 Silverado) I was thinking doing the 2/4because I thought the 4/6 would be to low. But after watching your video it looks good and doesn’t seem like it will be to low.

I dropped mine 22 years ago with Western Chassis. It maintained the sway bar with shorter end links. The tires rub when you hit a bump, you can’t stop it completely, so I have learned to live with it. The flip kit required a 2° wedge to correct the pinion angle and stop the vibration. Still driving it today!

Cool, if you get some QA1 adjustable front shocks then that will help get rid of that rubbing.

@jakerisner4139 slotted rotors may need to be installed in a specific direction depending on the design of the rotor:
Slots machined in opposite direction of cooling vanes: The slots should lean towards the front of the car.
Straight internal cooling vanes: The direction of the slots is a matter of personal preference.
Curved vane rotors: The vanes at the top of the rotor should tilt rearward. If they tilt forward, the rotor is installed backwards.

    • @whiplashtv2022

Well, the reverse of how they were installed is to remove one of the upper or lower ball joints from off of the spindle and slide the shock and sping out. This is only because the Belltech Street Performance shock body is bigger than stock. If you use the stock shock, like their kit is designed for, then you can do it like normal because the hole in the bottom control arm is big enough for the stock shock.

@@jesusduarte1251 no springs needed at all with the IHC Kit. IHC kit will need those 1” isolators to make it a 4” drop in the front. I just called them yesterday and they said that they install the isolator on top of the spring in the frame spring pocket. So I may do that to raise the front end a tad. I am sitting around 4.5/7 honestly. Maybe even closer to 4.75” down in the front because the 1” isolators don’t even get tight in the spring when they are in the middle. So I say all that to say this, prepare for the front end to potentially get a little lower than 4”.

@@whiplashtv2022 oh okay and overall how does it ride? Any issues or anything? And if I were to buy the IHC kit, I could use belltech shocks instead of the ones it comes with right ?

Overall it rides well. I used Belltech Street performance shocks in the front as seen in the video because their kit doesn’t come with front shocks because front shocks aren’t a necessity. Their kit comes with rear shocks as seen in the rear end video, but you can use different shocks if you would like.
