It actually means a lot that this was introduced by Pat, as "I'm going to be a father". Usually pregnancies are announced by the ...one who is pregnant. But it means similarly a lot to the father, and it's refreshing to see it introduced as "I have such an exciting thing to announce, I'm gonna be a dad". Because being a dad is also a big deal and should be exciting. And I feel like always announcing it as a "girl thing" makes it seem like.... Dad's don't matter. Or that men shouldn't care as much about their kids. So it was nice to hear it this way.
Speaking entirely seriously, I'm not sure what you grew up with but where I'm from the Dad gets super excited and tells everyone who will listen the whole time.

Geez Pat one shotted having a baby! That's godlike precision for a guy like him! Congratulations ❤
I love how happy pat is in the video, that's the face of genuine joy.
Remember when Woolie told in the podcast about how he proposed to Punchmom in the most impossibly scenic and romantic way imaginable, and Pat was like "Thanks for raising the bar for me jackass now Im gonna have to figure out how to 1-up that shit" , and then he spend multiple years doing just that with out of left field life changing announcements (Zangief, getting married, moving across the continent by trucker wife, and now 5 and a half months of being a dad)
it's official..Pat has join the cool dads club
Also its really cute how Ripley clearly inherited Max's height. And lil Pat 2 gets stuck with Pat's baby legs
So not only does he get a sequel, they managed it on a first try, lucky speedrun strats? Even the pregnancy was done optimally and with significant Mind Goblins!
Pat noclipped wall hacked that pregnancy.
Perform a frame perfect heat move on wife to carry on the legacy
Congrats to Pat and Paige! Hope the child will be happy and healthy.
Proof that Pat had sex at least twice. Congrats to Pat n Paige!
One of those confirmed using his hand
Bro wasn't lying about it being like dumping a can of paint
Congrats! Welcome to parenthood!
Pat you're like, GLOWING, man. Fatherhood is genuinely the best, most worthwhile thing. So happy for you!
"Frame data that baby" is such a good sentence.
Queue a montage of every "The Baby" soundbite they've ever said in their lives.
The Seed of Boivin remains as powerful as ever, I see
Amazing work, both Pat and Paige
I actually think it would be hillarious for a Pat II to be the name
Legitimately just give him pats name and middle name and it'll be pat the second which I doubt pat use heavy humor for something actually real
Now it’s time for Woolie to one up Pat by revealing that Reggie is Woolies son from the future.
Finally! I loved Pat 1 but I'm really excited to see what they do with this new one. Will they be taller? Shorter? What will their opinions on mustard be? Only time will tell. It would also be very funny if we learn absolutely nothing about them ever except that they exist, for their privacy.
Congratulations Pat!
I can't wait for the HD remaster of Pat 1 though.
woolie loves pat so much, you can see the glow on his face when it's revealed and he cares so goddamned much about pat and his family
This smirk at 1:10 is when I knew what he was talking about, and I almost shouted, BABY!?, at the top of my lungs.
I think Pat has officially won the "Who can drop the biggest life news on the podcast without warning". aka "T-Shirt Cold War Part 2" Congrats Pat.
I’ve been following you guys since the resident evil 2 Lp, and it’s wild to see how much has changed and how much you guys have grown and to see pat become a father is just wild. Congrats my dude.
This constant one-upsmanship is only going to end in tears, haven't you seen the Prestige?
SECOND FAMILY REVEAL! SECOND FAMILY REVEAL!
Been watching the best friends crew just over a decade and it’s crazy to see all of them explore new avenues in their life over the years. This is def the biggest one yet. Nice work, pat 🥹
Just friends being happy for each other and it's so wholesome
“First shot. First try” is a hilarious way to say you rawdogged your wife. Congrats Pat and Paige
Congratulations Goblin dude and mustard queen!
I remember seeing Paige's tweet about this and i was just waiting for the segment of Pat doing the bit like when he anniuncednhe proposed. Having been following him and the rest of the Zaibatsu since the oldest days, this feels extra wholesome.
i been watching since was 12 and why its weird is the old thing with pat was he couldnt sleep next to another person they had to be separate rooms .now his able to sleep like a normal married person .
@@laxor0519Yeah seconded, I don't think this is an unusual occurance at all. Maybe op just... never really thought about it before?
Congratulations, Pat & Paige! Game chat is cool and all, but I love these positive life change clips the most.
Woolie looks like Mofasa looking upon Simba from the heavens in that angle
Skipping straight to Pat 2, huh? Was kinda waiting on Pat: Chain Of Memories. Huge congrats man
Good lord. Pat and Paige combined into one person
I’ve been watching you guys for like 10 years and man this news and woolie’s reaction just warms my heart 🥹🥹🥹 Congrats again to Pat and Paige!!
Man i wish you could see the twitch chat in these clips. Obviously everyone lit up but I loved the people ROARING because they noticed Paige's constant hoodie wearing and bursting into tears on almost every stream
You can so clearly hear Pat s excitement , congratulations Pat !
What a character arc. Happy for you guys!
I like how this is the first time I've actually heard woolie say "based" in that sense
Just a real comment here.
It's just amazing seeing Pat grow and feel happy in a different way. Its just the best outcome of life in my opinion. No accidents, no resentments, no bad blood, no greed.
What I hear from this is just a tale of maturity, wisdom and love. Its raw wholesome.
I am 25 years old and I hope one day to be in this situation. Congrats again. Hopefully all goes great.
Eager for a August/September podcast.
