I see this as Brooke trying to "control the narrative" - even in this situation, her main focus is not Stephanie's health, but how she is going to navigate the situation in order to achieve her goals. Brooke is now Super Brooke - she is no longer just a "fauxmantic heroine" but is written as if she actually has some kind of personality di s o r der. Her lack of empathy is a trait that was always there, but it is magnified here, in a way that is quite unsettling. So far, I'd say Stephanie's version of the truth is still in place (all the camera angles of Brooke looking through the window into Stephanie's hospital room indicate that she is an "outside thre at") and the narrative has not yet fully shifted to Brooke's perspective.
I just find it interesting that when Brooke was visiting Stephanie, they had the blinds closed, and now with Eric, they are open again. Brooke calls Thomas obsessed, Brooke was the queen obsessor with the Forrester family Brooke was only using Thorne as Ridge wasn't available.
Brooke: "Thorne, I can understand the guilt that you're feeling." Somehow I doubt it. And then she tries to ease his guilt by telling him that it was Stephanie's _choice_ to "react like that".
I feel like Macy took over Steph's role.. "Brooke what are you still doing here?" "Why don't you just go home b4 you do more damage?" 😂 Sounds like Steph lines if I ever heard them😂.. In fact, Steph was telling Brooke that same thing just hours b4 when she was circling Taylor's room
That is a _great_ point! This storyline actually has Macy in the Stephanie role quite a lot! Macy confronting Brooke, Macy being the Cassandra, and ultimately Macy "dying" _in Stephanie's place_ (Macy's death being indirectly caused by an attempt to save Stephanie's life).
These seagulls know a witch when they see one. Like the ones in the Little Mermaid when they saw Ursula the sea witch pretending to be a beautiful damsel to get the Prince...

@@TriniT21I think she should have been, but not as a friend but as someone that Stephanie felt she needed one last chance to control.
