- Ashita No Joe is one of the most powerful anime ever created, and is undoubtedly the best. Ashita No Joe's main character Joe Yabuki represents an incredibly important universal desire that everyone has. Through that representation in Ashita No Joe 2, I believe that many people can come to a better understanding of themselves, through the character and journey of Joe.

Ashita no Joe is not an anime about boxing,it's an anime about a man that boxes
A very good way to put it.
Which makes it an anime about boxing.
@@AoiHeartStranger technically but not really, boxing is just a tool to unravel the man, a language that Joe uses to express his deeper feelings
@@sapoboi6544 yeah, that what makes it a show about boxing, Joe, Carlos, Rikiishi and all those other people care about this sport deeply, and it seems stupid to me to handwave its importance to this show to appeal to some stupid populistic ideas, what AnJ tells about boxing can be extrapolated on any kind of passion of yours, but that doesnt mean that AnJ is not about boxing.
@@AoiHeartStranger the difference of what op said is subtle but it exists, Hajime no Ippo is more of a boxing anime than Ashita no Joe for that same reason
I am a boxer not a professional yet but I have always been and I have always wanted to become a boxer and when I read ashita no joe I felt understood for the first time in my life I work a job I dislike just so I can have the opportunity to stay in the ring where I feel alive and I will never stop fighting although it may be silly I want to live a life of fighting because that's all I know and the idea of dying in the ring is the biggest privilege I can think of, so one day all of you reading I want you to know I will give it my all to reach the world and let you all see me as I burn into white ashes boxing saved me and boxing also trapped me I felt alive for the first time when I stepped in the gym and I want to live in it as long as I can.
Much love,
The future middleweight champion of the world
Go fuck the world up bud, be it you get to the champions belt or not, you made joe proud
@olivia892 thank you so much for the kind words this really means a lot I hope life is treating you well
faz teu nome!! que Deus te abençoe, quem sabe um dia te vemos na TV!
You'll make it far man. Your ashes will help even more future heroes make it farther. Best of luck to you man. May GOD give you his will.
Ganbare champ
Joe died happily and satisfied with a smile on his face .
Ashita no joe really and Truly a masterpiece.....!!!!
Its what he wanted, Joe was too haunted and went down on his terms. He burned bright for the world to see.
With a smile just like rikiishi 🥲
This video truly reflects on what we watched in the anime but in a 5 minute of a poetic art piece. The build up from an empty sadness to a fulfilling fire that will blaze up everything until it’s white ash. This video deserves my like and a sub
Very concisely insightful comment.
"Death less feared gives more life"
Beautiful video brotha! I came to almost the same conclusion about AnJ after reading it, and it is surely the best manga also, even the most important I would say.
I am sure it was a vitally important Manga and Anime. A lot of creators have been inspired by Joe's incredible story.
This might be the best Ashita no Joe I have seen yet! Thank you for putting this out. We really need more of these Ashita no Joe videos out there!
I agree, Ashita No Joe has so much potential for being turned into really good RUclips content.
@@WritingCorner yeah but it just sucks that it gets harder and harder to make videos on Joe because TMS will just take it down. 3 years ago, the entire first season was on RUclips and now we can’t even post the opening or soundtracks without getting copyright striked
Living past the point where you are ready to die is an unexpected feeling. Disappointment, dissatisfaction; now you have to figure out what to do with the rest of your life.
OH MY GOD IT'S BACK! This was one of my favorite ashita no joe videos to go back to, and I can finally watch it again! Thank you so much.
All I had to do was fight the entirety of the RUclips platform.
Twas a good warm up.
@@WritingCorner So glad that you did, I've been so inspired with this video
I'm rewatching this now and I can confidently say you've made the greatest Ashita no Joe video on the internet. Gave me goosebumps. This video deserves way more views.
Thank you.
I would agree, if I had seen every other Ashita no Joe video to know for sure.
@@WritingCorner It's definately one of the best, at least what was shared publicly. But I can bet and know for sure that there are superior ones which are not in public access. I've seen every public and more unpublic. Anyway, well done, as wrote earlier. You are a rare one, who actually understood that grandiose work and tragedy.
@@TrueNeutralEvGenius Thank.
RUclips recommended this to me, and I can say, this is perfect, I love the story of this anime and how joe fights with determination until its end, this video gave me a light, I have some "incurable" diseases and at times I think that life isn't worth living, but joe always motivates me to fight to my own end, burning until only white ashes are left. thanks for your analysis.
Everyone’s got their own fights they have to carry with them, which others have a hard time seeing. It isn’t about what you’re fighting, but why you’re fighting it. In the end we are all ash, but at least some of us can burn white hot before we leave those ashes behind.
"By the time I realised I wanted to die, I had already begun to live." This quote rings deep. You, my friend, are a genius.
Awesome video man, you just summarized all the feelings this series brought to anyone who carefully watched
Thanks :)
This is easily one of the best videos on RUclips I've ever watched. And I can't exactly pinpoint the reason why, but this might be the only video on this entire platform that I come back to watch at least once a month.
The manga ending is not so clear about Joe being dead or alive. What really matters is that he did indeed keep burning his flame as long as he could, regardless of what would happen next
Convince yourself and cope harder, fool.
The light in his eyes faded. He's dead bruh
@@RandomPerson28337 in 2001 the author , found out by a doctor that a dead body can’t stay sitted the way Joe was so he said that Joe lost consciousness
@@Fabszs81 but the manga’s author confirmed he’s dead.
In 1979 the mangaka Takamori Asao/Kajiwara Ikki (penname) confirmed in his autobiography that Joe indeed died, it was always the plan for the fight to end with Joe’s death. He later died in 1987. Tetsuya Chiba (art) refuses to comment on if Joe lives or dies when asked.
This is not just some anime, its about a story of a man
I LOVE anime but Joe is different. Joe is the story for the modern times. I believe that more than anything else. I wish people would try to understand how meaningful ashita no joe is.
Come back to watch this vid once in a while. So motivating
Boxing saved my life. I started watching ashita no Joe after I stepped into a gym for the first time. For the first time I felt alive, I felt heard and relaxed when me and my sparring partners throw leather. For the first time I felt good when I get compliments for my speed and power. This anime made me realize that no matter what happens, keep fighting in fire until your white ashes. I will go pro and win big one day and it’ll be a privilege dying by the hands of someone great in the ring.
This is my favorite video in youtube, I got very sad when for a couple of months I could not find it. Im very happy is back up.
Yeah- I'll try my best to keep RUclips from taking the channel down again. 😬
this is probably the best AnJ video in the whole existence. this not only summarize AnJ but the meaning of anlot of peoplesnliges. truly the goat
Amazing analysis. I always loved this show but you helped put it into words why I am drawn to this character and his story.
Ashita no Joe é um dos melhores animes que eu já vi, poucas coisas na vida me emocionaram tanto como o final de ashita no Joe.
Ashita no Joe é realmente uma série especial.
This has become the most important video to me I’ve ever seen. It means more to me than life itself
What you said was very good I know your language is English, but when I read the subtitle in Spanish, the way Joe Yabuki spoke was magnificent
Glad you enjoyed it.
This video made me so emotional. Fucking hell man, this was enthralling.
I'm glad it had the intended impact for you :)
Truly the best anime
I watched it years ago, living the life of a impoverished student. At that time, as i clearly remember the point of the show for me was to tell a vision that, 'what the true price of freedom is?'
Also his drunk coah crying and screaming for hopeful tomorrow, made me tear up a little. Yes true man take the responsibility and open themselves to universe for what may come...
This is phenomenal man… it brought me to tears.
You earned a sub
Finished ashita no Joe recently this series is truly inspirational and no anime closes to it 😢
Great vocal delivery. It really helped get your message across.
Thank.

@@WritingCorner shit. Fuck.
Amazing video,I hope you'll make one about Carlos Rivera since I think he is one of the best AnJ characters
I don't currently have any plans for Carlos, though I do hope someone does eventually make a video on him as well.
The best manga/animation ever by far. Pity that it doesn’t get the recognition it deserves, simply because it came before Japanese animation started to get noticed. Seen to be believed.
Yeah, hopefully it's raw quality and word of mouth will get it in front of more people.
It's quite a significant series in Japan, so it going strong there and being referenced in countless other Anime, along with people who like it spreading it, we might see a surge in popularity for it one day.
Joe does not want die he wants to burn his ashes
I have those same feelings. You articulated it very well.
Thank.
Hajime no Ippo shows you what it feels like
Ashita no Joe shows you what it costs
Yeah best anime. Take love from Bangladesh 🇧🇩 to make a video on this awesome anime
It do be an unmatched Anime.
And thanks for the Bangladeshi love, I'll use it to power up even further beyond.
What a great video, thank you for this intresting point.
Glad you liked it.
Best sports anime, joe and ippo.
So true! And SO RIGHT!!!
absolute banger video
Dammnn i really relate to this video

Thank you. Is many much times of practicing.
THAT IS THE WARRIOR WAY !!! 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻🥊🥊🥊💯💯💯🔥🔥🔥
🔥
Ashita no joe is the best sports manga I have read.
Casuals rave about Hajime no ippo when that trash been written by a racist troll who trolled his own fanbase with dragged and snailish chapters. How Morikawa used it as a mouthpiece to express his racial distaste towards African american fighters and bias towards mexican.
Joe experienced the trauma of having to kill the person he can call a friend in rikiishi. Ippo didn't. Ippo never suffered the pain of weight management. He never sought out the strongest. Joe did. Even if his body is telling him that something is wrong.
Joe had more significant character development from the time he went out of juvie up to his tragic fight against rikiishi compared to ippo's more than 30 year run.
Wahhh racism wahh.
not much of a boxing or sports fan in general but AnJ is indeed a masterpiece of character driven story-telling & tragedy
Yabuki Joe is the GOAT for a reason
DAMN
DANG
It would be really cool if you made English subtitles for this video. I'm not that good at English, but what did I understand from what i heard, this is a very interesting video, and I would like to analyze it in detail)
P.S. I like it beforehand)
Making subs might take some time. Instead I can drop the script here if you want to read that.

How can I go about watching this?
Most, if not all free anime streaming platforms.
Make sure to use Adblock.
I usually use GoGoanime as the go to.
This makes me wanna fight again, I don't care if the gyms are closed anymore, being dead weight like this is fucking stupid
I feel you. I really want to hit the soccer field again, or at the very least get some better weight training in.
Joe are roamer on the street originally he deny the request that try be a boxer by tanpei who former boxing coach, afterward he met a rikishi in the jail then Joe got concern the boxing with passion for a win. I don't think Joe defeated in the match with Jose mendosa who champion but he will remain in our mind forever as a legend anime 👊😄

No problem. 👌

Then I'll just be stronger then them -- then.
If you believe in competition then yes but if you choose to live free then no
Why most of the people don't know about Ashita No Joe??
Primarily, because of how old it is. It's hard to get most Anime fans interested in a series just a couple years old, let alone one from fifty years ago.
@@WritingCorner then how come I know who had seen 30-40 animes but the so called weeb Lord doesn't even heard the name
I mean, the fact they're a weeb kind of says it all.
Perhaps, good taste, maybe luck. Hopefully, either reason as to why you stumbled across it, is a sigh that more new anime fans will start being exposed to more classics.

Anybody explains me in simply terma please
What's the name of the last song
As I stated, the last song used is a mix of "Against The Man" and "Requiem Of Rikishi" both from the Ashita No Joe OST.
Who tf dislike video, why?
Some people have said they don't like the style it is in.
Besides them, the same people that dislike every video they come across.
I'm glad someone else finally understood that apogee of tragedy.
Apogee is a good word.
Conatus !
How can i watch this
Ashita No Joe can be watched on just about any Anime streaming platform. Including places like GoGoAnime. 9Anime. KissAnime. Zoro.to ---- and more.
Name of the song?
They are all apart of the Ashita No Joe sound track.
Including: Memories of Rikishi Toru - Against The Man - Requiem Of Rikishi Toru
Also, note that they won't sound quite the same in certain areas, since I did edit them for this video.
