- The book burnings during Hitler's reign are frequently mentioned, but never WHAT they banned or WHY, it's time to delve deeper into the subject. They're never discussed in detail, only a quick mention in history books as if it was a huge evil during the National Socialist reign. But was it so bad? Let's find out the truth.
This video is NON-POLITICAL, obviously, I have an opinion like everyone does, but I did try to simply present the facts as they are here without inserting my own opinion, if it didn't come off that way, I apologize but I did try to state the fact several times. I understand why this is a sensitive topic, as if anything relating to the period.

I remember when I investigated this as well. It was "the" moment I realized it was all propaganda and begin digging. I now see a reflection of wiemar Germany in the United States right now.
The truth does not fear investigation
Now they just delete archives and edit wikipedia.

So basically they burned only rubbish books.
Just remember, their ideas are so strong and bulletproof that they have to create entire departments dedicated to burying any sort of opposing viewpoint
The decadent people of the Weimar Republic were viewed as dancing on the graves of the German soldiers that had just perished only a decade before. This period in Germany exuded the idea of post-modernism. I am very emotionally attached to this story because I see its parallels in my own life being a Marine infantryman that served in the Iraq War in 2005 with many friends being killed only to now live in Weimar 2.0 in the United States. I completely understand now why the Germans nationalists hated that government even after taking control of it.
