    I'm back! I don't know how well this video will perform, but I hope at the end of the day, someone could relate to this at all. Don't worry, got some more stuff planned for this year, I'm not going anywhere!

    Joe has been my ultimate inspiration. He’s a driving force and motivates me to move forward. I’ll remember him, forever

    • @TKadz
      @TKadz 3 месяца назад

      Is joe really a good inspiration? The man who pushed all those who loved him aside, and hastily and recklessly ran towards his own death, and allowed his loved ones to see him day by day slowly but inevitably kill himself. If all you see is a inspirational and motivational person when you saw joe dead on that stool, then I’m sorry. You’ve been watching this anime with your eyes closed.

    • @frodude

      @@TKadz He might not be for you, but he is for me. Can you say for yourself that you found something that fuels you? Do you have a passion you’re willing to burn down to pure white ashes for? Probably not. And you don’t have to respect everything he did in his life to be inspired by him. His life isn’t one to mimic but as with every story, you can learn something from him and apply it to yourself.

      @@TKadz Truth be told, Joe's life and death was more tragic. He could've lived a lot longer had he decided to listen to his friends and gave up boxing. But at the same time, I don't think that type of life would've been satisfying for him and it would have just made him a shell of who he was. Joe just wasn't the type of person to give something like that up at the fear of death since the ring was like a home for him. It allowed him to meet and connect with other people like him such as Rikiishi.

    This is my first time every viewing your channel am I'm glad I clicked on this video.
    I saw this video pop into my recommendations a few times last night and finally clicked on it today after work.
    The "Just Quit Already" really resonated with me.
    I used to love my job, would go above and beyond, come in early or stay late if they asked. I used to feel that passion and love. The last 2 years has been a downward spiral of negative emotion to the point of feeling dread build up within me on my drive to work. The only time I feel at peace is when I'm away from the place. Everything I loved about the space has taken a 180 and the people I enjoyed working with have all moved on. After complaining so many times I get the question "If you hate it so much why haven't you quit" Part of me feels like it will get better but honestly? I don't know anything else and I've been here almost 1/3 of my life.
    On a positive note I'm happy I made a channel with my best friend. Not for the views or likes but for the memories we can hold and come back to. I know that passion will never die.
    Thank you for the wonderful video I can't wait to read the manga in the future.

    i remember watching this way back somewhere around 2022 from an online website. it was something i didn't know i needed during my miserable and life is meaningless phase during the pandemic. animation and soundtracks were also perfect especially the 80s adaptation. the themes & characters were also moving & compelling. despite being an old series i still think the life lessons and message still holds up than most modern disney films.

    I just wanted to tell you that this was an absolutely, absolutely, magnificent video. Well made in every way, the message behind it, the montage, the AnJ vibes, it was perfect.
    I rarely leave a comment on a video, I'm of the silent majority, but I just had to do it for this one. That's the first video I've seen of you, and it's certainly not gonna be the last. The views counter really don't reflect the quality. Keep it up at your own pace, you're a gem on this platform.

    Already half way through this retrospective, and man I feel that, I feel that a lot Cheems. I honestly think you make some amazing videos looking over your favorite mangas and anime, and your passion for content really shows through, even if that passion could seem to burn out after awhile. Personally I've gone through some rough patches with my passions too, mainly as an artist, and sometimes I think I should quit, either because I feel there's just so much I promised to get done for others and not enough time to finish, or wanting to improve as much as my fellow artists friends, it all almost becomes a pit, a pit of regret and depression that shouldn't really be there for something I have a deep passion for. But despite that, they're are times when those feelings can be overcomed, and our personal pursuit of satisfaction and rekindling of our own passion couldn't be anymore greater, no matter how long it may take. I hope you'll still be able to upload more videos in the future of as many series or franchies you love, cause who am I to say you shouldn't stop making what you enjoy? Keep on going Cheems!

    I still don't know if the story has the takeaway to find something you're willing to kill yourself for. I feel unsatisfied by that explanation

    • @crabohato4954
      @crabohato4954 5 месяцев назад +1

      Megalobox had a line which indirectly explains the whole message of AnJ; "Whether you’re a power player who wears a weighty crown, or some poor soul with barely a pebble to his name… Nobody can escape death. *But if you live your life so that when it comes, you’re satisfied, even if it’s not the end you were hoping for, you’ll have no reason to fear death.”*

    • @crabohato4954
      @crabohato4954 5 месяцев назад +2

      The message is to find out what makes you passionate in life. Live life doing stuff that makes you feel complete, things that get you in touch with your emotions and human side. If today was the last day of your life, how happy would you be? Would you have any regrets? Would you have any baggage or trauma to carry on into death? Don't find something you're willing to die for per say. If we wanna dumb the message of the show a little down, do something you'd be happy doing, even if it were the last thing you could ever do
