  • I had timed my visit to the South West of England rather well as after an absence of 6 years, the Bristol Vintage Bus Group hosted their gathering at the Brislington Park and Ride site on 31 July 2022. Buses of varying ages from the 1930s up to the 2010s were on display with lots of opportunities for rides too.

У нас хорошо получается создавать красивые автобусы. Мы также сделали свою долю уродливых тоже 😆

The Badgerline Olympian has the Bristol script badge on it, so presumably it’s one of the Bristol Olympians, not a Leyland

I think Olympian production moved from Bristol to Leyland in 1983 so you could be right, depends where in the production A952SAE was.

@@SirAdamUK Well if the registration is anything to go by, AE is a Bristol number, along with HT, HU, HW and HY. I was still in the Bristol area in the early 80s, but I was living out in Yate, and I had a company car by then so I rarely used buses and my interest waned.

HI there, I'm not from the South West so don't have the info but if you visit bvbg.co.uk/ they might be able to advise.

    Why is there no sound?!?!

    • @SirAdamUK

There is sound. Or do you mean the music? I suspect I added music as I was in conversation when walking around.

@@SirAdamUK I don't have music. I do have sound. However, just to compensate, I can have subtitles in Cyrillic script/Russian language or not at all.
