🇨🇿 Farewell to the Tornado: Cab riding the Class 460 from Olomouc

The first 3kV DC 5 car electric unit class 460 'Tornado' was built in 1971, with subsequent production taking place until the last unit was built in 1978. In the later years of their life, they operated on services around the Ostrava and Olomouc region of the Czech Republic.
On 21 April 2024, a farewell charter service operated across the Czech Republic utilising one of the few remaining Class 460 electric units: 460079. Nicknamed 'Tornado', the service started in the east at Střelná and traversed west terminating in Chomutov. I joined it with my friend Bradley at Olomouc. This is the journey.
