J Gary Sorry for the bother again i always try to save money as well and do research, that's how I came across this video, Do you think it'll fix the problem on a 2011 chevy impala... i dont have the problem where its stuck on park but Service brake, service stabilitrak, and service traction control message
Evermk Catalan you can give it a try. when the symptoms of my avy started, it was just the lights. It wasn't till a few months later I had the shifting problem and flickering brake lights which caused me to change the switch and when I did it fixed all the problems. So you could give it a try. Best of luck
I've been struggling with this exact problem with my 2007 Avalanche for more than 5 years. It was happening once or twice per year, and I paid a lot to get it fixed, and then it started happening again and finally got to where it was happening 5 times per day! My mechanic charged me another $1500 to fix it, and the error came back the next day. Exasperated, I found this video, and changed out the brake switch myself. Worked like a charm. Thank you!!!!
❤this is great I'm thankful it helped and mechanics want to squabble about this video because they know its a cheap simple fix but they want to drag you
Did this fix last Friday. Cost me $16.00 and 10 minutes of time. I've been hating driving my 2008 Silverado because I didn't have any Cruise Control. Not anymore. Now that this is my daily driver(no more work truck) I'm fixing this sucker up. Thank you so much!
🤣🤣🤣 man Brothah I thank the LORD for you ✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾 I just started having this issue yesterday & it reduced the engine speed & it was operating so slow & it says to service stability track & traction control & I was freaking out man. I typed in Google & here your video popped up so I appreciate you for taking the time out to educate people for FREE 🤣🤣🤣 be blessed My Brothah ✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾
Just happen to me man my truck had been taking a long time to start up and kinda puttering with the same service sign popping up did this fix your problem ?
Thanks for making this video. The dealer wanted $90 to find out why my stability light was coming plus what it cost to fix it. You just saved me a bunch of money.
I was very concerned, because at the dealer they wanted $ 175.00 per light checked, so I decided to do a little research and I came a cross this video on youtube. so i called napa auto parts and payed $ 15.07 for the switch and to my surprise it WORKED!!! So thaks a million.
Brother you are a savior!!! I literally got a quote from my Chevy dealer for almost 300 dollars when I bought the part my self for $18 and it took me 13 minutes all together to change. THANK YOU FOR THE VIDEO!
I had the same exact problem with my 2008 Tahoe could not get it out of park. I removed switch, replaced with new and problem solved! Cost me $22.00 and saved me hundreds or even more from taking it to the dealer. Thanks for posting!
Dudw you rock! My cruise control has NEVER worked since i bought my Chevy Avalanche! My truck would not go into gear stabiltrack light and abs light came on and also my trailer brake light came on! I bought what you recommended and BOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! EVERYTHING IS FIXED !!! THANK YOU!!!!
Two days ago my 2011 Silverado started displaying error messages about 4 wheel drive, traction control, and stabilitrak every so often. I Googled and found this video. Today I went to O'Reilly's and got the part for $21.99 + tax and on my way home, my cruise control shut off and the error messages started displaying again! When I got home, I spent about 10 minutes from start to finish changing the brake light switch. No error messages since! Thank you for posting this video!!!
Hello i know this is older video but i have a 2007 chevy Tahoe 4wd with 80k miles around 68k miles i got the "Service 4wd soon", service stabiltrack," service abs" and it will not go onto 4wd and 4wd switch would not light up. I have been been to my trusted mechanic he checked everything and said just drive it! Ok but when i hit 80k i was like shit i got to fix this or im gonna sell it " (NOTE my cruise control and shifter works fine.). I was told horror stories of 900 to 1200 dollars with dealer wanting to replace transfer case!!! Well i figured i start with the easiest. Your fix cost me 22 dollars and less than 5 minutes. And WAPOWW!!!! Fixed no message and 4wd knob working!!!I cannot thank you enough!!!! You are the man.
I have a yukon gmc 2007, the stabilitrack and service traction control came on when driving. I also had a low oil light coming on and lost cruise control. My brake lights were staying on as well. I changed the brake light switch myself. It solved the problem. I also disconnected the battery while changing it to reset the warning lights. It took 15 minutes and $20 for the part. Thanks for the video.
Thank you so much for posting this! I have had this problem off/on for over a year on my 2011 Chev Silverado. Today I got a $24 part and problem solved.
I came along this video and found this along with my throttle body was the culprit. I had the same issue "fixed" last year at a shop for $1100 which clearly wasn't fixed. You explained it well and I was able to fix it along with my throttle body! Thank you! I appreciate you doing this video!!!
I am writing this on my husband's profile or what have you but Mr.Gary I would sincerely like to thank you for this video! You making this video has solved four issues I have had in my 07 Tahoe. Stabilitrack, brake lights flickering, and ABS, and the column not going into gear. Thank you Thank you Thank you! Will be sharing!
My lights just came on today on my 2009 avalanche. Every once in a while my truck won’t let me shift out of park. It’s rare that it happens, but it did just do it a couple of days ago. I was going to put my truck in the shop in the morning but thought I might try to find a fix on RUclips and the very first video I watched was this one! I’m going to buy the part and hopefully fix my issue as well! I have a cross country trip planned at the end of month and didn’t want to put it on the highway with any service issues... thanks for the helpful video!
Thank you Gary, my 2011 Suburban had exactly the same problem your video started with, Prior to seeing your video I had called 2 shops, just to give you a diagnosis it cost $110, then god knows from there on. one shop told, it could be my transmission because of not shifting. anyways went to dealer bought the part for $21.40 and changed it, works like a charm. god bless you for posting the videoP.S, I'm surprise the mechanics are not petitioning to ban your video :)
Man let me tell you my cruise control hasnt worked since about 3 months after owning the same truck you have and this morning the same warning lights came on and caused me to have no gas due to engine power lowered warning as well and after watching this video i took your advice and WHAT! (like LIL JON would say) The cruise control worked and the warning went away. Gary thanks a lot for this video man love my avalanche
I'm at the dealership now about to see how much it's going to cost for them to do it. Then I looked up how to do it myself, and I'm pretty sure this guy just saved me 100s.
Wow! This is the most thorough and helpful explanation that i have come across. I have a 2011 Escalade ESV and the light only comes on when it gets HOT - 85+ degrees or more. Thank you!
This is a great tip and a cheap, quick fix if your truck uses this part. As he says, the brake switch controls a lot of things and should not be overlooked as the source of your problems if you have any of the error messages he shows. However, if you have a 2010 or later Equinox, it is a real bear to get to and change the brake switch. You will need to get a manual or find a video on RUclips to guide you, if you decide to tackle this on a vehicle that does not have an accessible brake switch. You will also need an adequate set of smaller tools that will let you get to fasteners in small spaces.
Man thanks a million for the video, had this problem for about a year because the dealer quoted a crazy price to repair. It amazing what a little research can do...again that this solved it....
Thank you so very much for this video/info. 2008 Acadia, 2 dealer trips, etc.....same symptoms, "service stability, traction control off", and pulsating brakes on start up. Saw your video, went to the local auto parts store and picked up the brake pedal position sensor, around $20, installed in under ten minutes! Works good so far.......The only thing is, my particular part looked a bit different, but provided the same function. Thanks again.
2010 z71 5.3 4x4. Thank you Gary, completed as you instructed. I saw several videos and until you mentioned the steering wheel locking up it all made sense. This was the correct fix.
This may be an old post video ,but it works and sure is a GOOOOD !!!! ONE !!!! JGTV you just help me fix my 2008 Platinum Escalade in Feb. 2023, Thanks again !!!!!
Many thanks to you!!! The traction control lamp lit up on my way to work this morning. I just happen to see your video so I checked my brake switch, must have hit it with my boots because once wiggled the service lamp immediately went out. You made my day, again thank you.
Thank you Gary for this video it totally solved my issues with my 2007 chevy tahoe. I changed the brake light switch and my shifter doesnt get stuck on park anymore. Also my ABS light and my service stabilitrak and service traction control lights dont turn on randomly anymore. You my friend are a life saver.
+marvin pena Is your lights still off? Sometime disconnecting the battery resets stuff for a short period of time. I am still having problems with my lights coming on. Stabiltrak and engine sevice light. I also Replaced egr valve which diagnosis said needed to be replaced. Dam diagnosis machines lie.
+An Insurance Agents Career I didn't even have to unhook my battery & reset the computer all I done was changed the brake light switch & lights automatically went off & never came back on & now my cruise control works again!
Gary, I have 2007 avalanche and had the same problem. Although brake switch was not my problem, your video made me think in a different direction and it was my accelerator pedal potentiometer that was faulty. problem solved. During the process i discovered that any item that feeds into the central computer and is faulty will give same warning together with reduced power.
A while back my auto start on my 07 Yukon xl. when I started my vehicle through the ignition switch.. I then proceeded to my local auto shop, to find out that the engine codes were indeed the reason as to my issue. witch the computer said gas cap and brake light switch.. I replaced the cap, but not the switch, and had the codes cleared...6500 or so miles later my service tracking con/and service stable con indicator light came on and your video led me straight to the issue! thank you, great and informative video! I owe you $25 dollars back if we ever Cross paths! thanks again!!
Glad the video helped you to isolate the issue. As I mentioned in my video I'm not a certified mechanic just someone who did some trouble shooting and thought others would benefit from what I figured out. Once again glad it helped.
Do this first! I did this after replacing the whole throttle body and having to get a new connector because the old one got messed up while I was changing the throttle body. No matter what if you these same messages, change this switch first!
Wow! You nailed this one bruh! I 2010 tahoe had just started to do this. Then had had a 3 hour driving trip and my cruise control would not work . I could not figure this out. I came minutes away from going to a mechanic until I saw your video about this. Made a trip to AutoZone and replaced it myself! Again I thank you. 💪🏾 🙏🏽
Bro my stability light came on last night, it wouldnt allow me to drive the vehicle at all. I hope this fixes my problem, thanks for getting straight to the point and being clear and understanding.
CAUTION: Switching the break light switch is a bitch for big guys . I don't know how in the hell you filmed that and replaced it. Anyways, i contorted my upper torso and finally got to the part and switched it out and NO LUCK! The stabilitrack still displayes as needing service. But guess what, my friggin cruise control works again! After 3 years of not working and my ankle freezing up after long drives it now works. IT REALLY REALLY WORKS! Than you J Gary!
thanks for the video! I have a 2008 GMC Sierra and this 100% fixed my problem. several videos & people said that it's a wheel bearing problem, but both my front wheel assemblies have been changed & the lights never came on when either side went bad & the hub assemblies are $180.00 a pop and that's if you install them yourself! the brake light switch cost me $18.02 at O'Reillys & like you say in the video it might have taken me 5 minutes to change so saved me a lot of money & time (thanks again) Jim gross.
Well, I'll be ......danged! My son's truck has been dealing with this problem for over a year. This switch, and your tutorial, just gave us a fix to our issue. $20! Thank you sir and keep up the good work!
Thanks for helping me fix my 07 Avalanche. I bought it used and had it for a year. Watched your video and mine was doing the same as your. Although my all that would come on I could still drive with no problem. My cruise control stopped working also. But once I replaced the break switch my cruise control works and no break lights on dash come on any more. Just wanted to let you know you helped someone else out. Thanks and I saved money I paid 17.99 for part.
Patrick. I too have a 07 avalanche. I was just idling tonight and abs , service traction control, service stabilitack and traction control off came on. Did yours do the same? I turned it off for a bit and all cleared.. them 5 minutes later all came on.
Thanks! I had the ABS and Stab control lights come on and at one point I could not shift from park. I was going to make an appointment with my mechanic but found your video. $25 part at Oreilly and as you said an easy fix. Much appreciated!
Thank you so much! Couldn't shift out of park, Stabilitrack, Traction Control, and Trailer Brake messages were flashing plus ABS light was on. This fixed all the issues on my 2011 K1500. $18 at autozone.
Gary... You. Effin'. Rock. Bro. !. Seriously, Thank You! You are THE FIRST person whom I have come across after months of on again, off again research on this exact issue who has even bothered to call attention to this particular gizmo which, until just a few minutes ago, I had no idea even existed. If replacing this little doo-dad actually DOES fix the 'Service StabiliTrak' issue that I've been having on my 2012 Camaro when I try it in a week or two, I will straight up fly right back to this video's page and grovel incessantly as I kiss it's feet and offer up the soul of my as-of-yet still unborn firstborn child... ... 🤔 ...orrrr, perhaps I'll just write another post stating that it REALLY DID TOTALLY WORK, and stuff... ...and junk... ... Oh, AND I'll probably also say "Thank You!" again... ...but, like... a LOT. Like, multiple times. Y'know. Probably. AND IN ALL CAPS AT THAT!! Until then, Happy Holidays! 👍 😉 🤘
Thank you. I have a 2008 Tahoe and we have been having issues with cruse control for over a year. During the last six months, we were having issues with "traction control off,, service stabilitrac, service traction control." Just recently we had issues getting out of Park. Replacing the Brake Light Switch fixed all the problems. Thanks again.
i was having same problem.. no cruise control..service stabilitrak..ect ect. Went to Autozone and bought brakelight switch and it fixed the problem!! Thanks for the advice.
This is a great fix, and will often solve this condition. But it also may not change anything, The problem can also be in the Ignition switch, the steering position sensor ( Both reasonably cheap), and occationally the very expensive Throttle Boddy
Thanks for the video!!! I recently did the driver side motor mount and when I was done that in the truck and have the service stability track light come on I thought I broke something putting the motor mount on when I googled the problem your video came up and I thank you for it! It's solved my problem
reduced power comes on due to computer thinking the traction control or stabiltrak is faulty and hence reduces power for your safety. thanks again Gary, i was suffering with this for months and to make things worse it was intermittent. Garages here will not point you in this direction and most, even cheverolet, dealers do not know how to diagnose it. you should post on the chevy forums as its a popular subject that has no conclusion in most cases.
Thanks for this video! I am also getting a service brake system light on my 2009 Traverse. Nothing wrong with the brakes or fluid. I have a feeling this will fix everything across the board.
I’m about to try on my 2009 Sierra everything looks great with abs wires, battery, and fluid levels. I even tried cleaning my fuse box and ABS2 fuse. Here goes nothing LOL.
Thank you, sir! I’m going to go try this. I like when Stabilitrak is working-it works great in my 2010 Silverado in the dirt roads in the Green Mountains of Vermont. Lately it shuts off after 10 miles.
THANKS. Had the issue happen while coming home. Driving 20 miles at 15-18 MPH on the highway NOT GOOD. got to a local auto repair store changed out the switch and problem solved again THANKS
Nice work Gary!! Gonna give this a try, tho I have not had the issue with the shifter occasionally I get the lights and the "dingdingding" I pull into a parking lot, shut it off, lights still on, put in reverse and back up two feet and 'system normal' It does how ever drive me knuts. Thank you for sharing and happy trails...
Oh my goodness! Thank you because I own a 2014 Chevy Camaro and all of a sudden my instrument panel was coming off and on and windows were rolling up and down and the car was stallng a little bit and "Mobil stability track" with a wrench symbol lit up. I haven't driven it in about two weeks because I'm scared. Do thank you so much for this.
You are the MAN!!!! it's that simple! I was so close to taking it to the shop to diagnose it. Easy fix and no more check engine light or annoying chimes!
Awesome ! thanks so much !! my cruise went out on my 07 suburban 2500 and the code was constantly on , I'm gonna go grab me a switch .. Can't thank you enough for the video !
Gary, Man I'm glad I stumbled upon your video! The new sensor installed and worked just like you said. Almost scary easy!I've been wrestling with the Stability Track and locking shift lever problem for several weeks and of course I'm way to proud (cheap) to pay the dealer the Diagnostic fee. From what I've read, they will throw a dozen parts at my car before fixing it anyway. Thanks for saving me the $$ and loss of vehicle for probably days.
Number 1. >If you have a 2008 chevy or pontiac and have problems with stabiltrak and the engine light coming on, the problem is your EGR valve. I bought one from autozone and put it in> Engine light went off but stablitrak stll kept coming on. End result, the EGR valve needs to be a factory replacement and not one from autozone or similar. I had chevy dealer check new EGR valve from autozone and it showed bad. The problem is the resistance in any other EGR valve vs the factory one is higher and that impacts the electrical system and the stablitrak light. Once I replaced factory EGR valve, I have had no problems with Stablitrak and engine light coming on. Number 2. > If you are having the problem in this video, losing power, GM came out with a factory update on November 15, 2015 that all those vehicles need a new throttle -position sensor, that causes the malfunction ,engine light to come on and engine power reduced light to come on. If you have under 120,000 miles on your vehicle, they will fix it free.
I have a 2008 Chevy Equinox and it started with the check left tire pressure first (nothing wrong) then taking my girls to school the service traction control and service stabilitrack light came on and Im experiencing hesitated pull off when I press on the gas and light shaking....is that the the valve thing that needs replacing?
Janay Parson my 08 equinox is doing the exact same thing. Already replaced the EGR valve, but didn’t get an original manufacture EGR valve. I think I should’ve now.
Hell yeah thank you! My problem was not this. It I did do the big three wire upgrade with 1 gauge wire now my volt meter always reads 14.8 all the time steady!!!!! Great video! I just cleaned the mass airflow and the throttle body and this fixed my issue for now!!!!!
I have a 2008 Avalanche 138,000 miles, and had no issues till now. I get the service lights but have no shifting or flickering brake lights issues. Im gonna replace this part, D-1539J and see if it fixes the problem. Better than taking to a dealer and spending $$$$$$ and let them try to guess whats wrong, especially after Ive read 100s of posts from various owners with like problems. I will update after install ..
Update, 12-29-17 . I .had the codes run on my 2008 Avalanche and it said misfire # 1 cylinder . So come to find out the sparkplug was broke, so i changed it and so far, all the warning lights have went away ......
Good video and good info. Recently just had the lights pop up on my 09 Silverado. Crawled under it and wiggled the cables to my driver side wheel hub assembly and everything went back to normal after and engine restart. Typical of GM vehicles for those connection points to go out. Had the same issue with a 99 Yukon. I'll keep this fix in mind for future issues with this though. Thanks for the upload!
Gary Thank you so much. You just save me some good money. I tried exactly what you said. It worked for my Chevy Suburban. Well appreciated. You are the man. Thanks a lot
This is a sneaky one! I will have to try this, both front hubs feel tight and no growling noises. 4WD auto mode leaves the truck in 4wd but specifying 2wd unlocks the front hubs/turns off 4wd so I will have to try the brake light switch first. Thanks for the video! I left my code scanner in storage so haven't been able to scan it
Make sure after you replace the module that you go to the engine and pull the - breaker/amp/fuse ----(#9 on the fuse box) -it resets the system so that error has a chance to clear
Travis Mialback I actually was curious if that works? I replace the brake light switch and it worked temporarily, but then after my wife drove it we got the error code back. I don’t know what else to check

As soon as you said "you can fix it for 25 dollars" you stole my heart.

Do a video for it

Glad you were able to get the issues fixed!!!
Bro my stability light came on last night, it wouldnt allow me to drive the vehicle at all. I hope this fixes my problem, thanks for getting straight to the point and being clear and understanding.
Dealers going to hate you Gary. except us. You saved us hundreds
I forgot to add that it did also fix my cruise control.
Well, I'll be ......danged! My son's truck has been dealing with this problem for over a year. This switch, and your tutorial, just gave us a fix to our issue. $20! Thank you sir and keep up the good work!
This worked
Thanks for helping me fix my 07 Avalanche. I bought it used and had it for a year. Watched your video and mine was doing the same as your. Although my all that would come on I could still drive with no problem. My cruise control stopped working also. But once I replaced the break switch my cruise control works and no break lights on dash come on any more. Just wanted to let you know you helped someone else out. Thanks and I saved money I paid 17.99 for part.
+Patrick Young Glad to hear that my video helped you out.
Patrick. I too have a 07 avalanche. I was just idling tonight and abs , service traction control, service stabilitack and traction control off came on. Did yours do the same? I turned it off for a bit and all cleared.. them 5 minutes later all came on.
Wow ! Thank YOU!!! I’m relax now and ordered the part already Original 10$ plus shipping on EBay!!! Sincerely I Truly appreciate your help.
I had no idea where to start until I seen your video. Thank you very much, I'll start here and let you know how it turns out. Thank you again sir!
YOU ARE THE MAN!!!!! my brother worked for me 21 bucks!!!!!!
What was your problem
Thanks! I had the ABS and Stab control lights come on and at one point I could not shift from park. I was going to make an appointment with my mechanic but found your video. $25 part at Oreilly and as you said an easy fix. Much appreciated!
Glad I was able to help!
Chiming in 7 years after u posted this video. Good lookin out Gary!! It sure fixed it on my 07 avalanche wit 222k miles on it.
You sir just fixed an issue I have been trying to solve for about a year.
Darrin Pearson question, we're you perhaps getting a whirring or moaning and groaning noise when steering at low speeds?
Darrin Pearson Did you find the reason for the sounds. I cant find anything on that.
Does the sound change when your turning? If your getting a low drone sound when your moving it could be the wheel bearings
Does anyone know the part number for a 2010 Silverado?
paul petarson exactly mine went dry a week before this lil part broke
Thank you! This is exactly what we needed to do to fix this problem, 2009 Chevy Silverado 1500. Can't thank you enough!
What was wrong with your truck ? What would it do
Thank you so much!
If replacing this little doo-dad actually DOES fix the 'Service StabiliTrak' issue that I've been having on my 2012 Camaro when I try it in a week or two, I will straight up fly right back to this video's page and grovel incessantly as I kiss it's feet and offer up the soul of my as-of-yet still unborn firstborn child...
... 🤔
...orrrr, perhaps I'll just write another post stating that it REALLY DID TOTALLY WORK, and stuff...
...and junk...
2008 Yukon: I had all of the issues you mentioned, prefect fix, THANK YOU Gary!
I haven't taken action yet, but I have a gut feeling this is what my 09 Silverado needs. Thanks for the video man.
Success?
Dude, your the man, Thanks, cost me $16. The dealership wanted to charge me an ARM AND ONE LEG. It work on my 2010 GMC working great...
Nupe Diggs where can I buy that and how is it called???
i was having same problem.. no cruise control..service stabilitrak..ect ect.
Fixed this very issue.....Thanks for taking the time to post this video.
Do you remember the name of the part!
You are the man!!! You saved me $500 that check wanted to charge me, to run a diagnostic and replace all the mods u see the brake pedal!!!
+Shnickers123 Glad the video helped you out and saved you $$$
I just got my 07 Chevrolet suburban. Bro you just saved me from dishing a lot of money
Glad this video helped you out!
Was your truck shaking?
@@kennyking3399 yes. And kicking on first gear.
@@shakurapocalypse1301 mines also
@@kennyking3399 if that doesn't work, check spark plug number 8. Sometimes the tip of the plug is bent and it's not sending shock.
Thanks for the video!!! I recently did the driver side motor mount and when I was done that in the truck and have the service stability track light come on I thought I broke something putting the motor mount on when I googled the problem your video came up and I thank you for it! It's solved my problem
Man you just fixed all my trucks problems. Took 2 min to do. Thanks!
reduced power comes on due to computer thinking the traction control or stabiltrak is faulty and hence reduces power for your safety. thanks again Gary, i was suffering with this for months and to make things worse it was intermittent. Garages here will not point you in this direction and most, even cheverolet, dealers do not know how to diagnose it. you should post on the chevy forums as its a popular subject that has no conclusion in most cases.
Russell, do you mind my asking what type of vehicle you have? I have a 2011 Impala - do not want to give $$ away to the dealership if I don't have to!
my dude. man its so good to see you! hope you are staying blessed and life is treating you amazing
So thankful for this video! These are the exact symptoms my 2011 Suburban had and this was the fix!! Thank you!!
+Eric Padelford Glad the video was able to help you out Eric!!!
It worked for me! I ordered the part installed it and the problem is gone! Thanks so much!
Glad it worked for you!!
Yes!! Thank you!!! For $15 (from Amazon) Fixed my 2011 Avalanche AND the Cruise Control which had not worked since Sept 2018!!
Glad the video helped you out!
You are the MAN!!!! it's that simple! I was so close to taking it to the shop to diagnose it. Easy fix and no more check engine light or annoying chimes!
DeMon Daniels glad I could help

This is great! And I think you just solved my problem! I've had the stabilitrack light, BUT now my cruise control isn't working! Thanks!
Thanks a bunch for the video... It saved a trip to the dealer... 15 minute fix for the cruise control and Traction Stabilizer Bar error
Glad the video helped you out!!!
Wow I can't thank you enough! The clip is tricky to get off and back on. $25 part from O'Reilly's and no more Stabilitrac! ;-)
Thank you. Was about to take in. $28 part, also fixed my cruise control!
Awesome ! thanks so much !! my cruise went out on my 07 suburban 2500 and the code was constantly on , I'm gonna go grab me a switch .. Can't thank you enough for the video !
Glad the video helped you out
It worked! Very thankful for you taking the time to make this video.
I like it, right to the point. Not dragged out. Thank you
Thanks Gary for your help I’ve been dealing with this for months took it to a mechanic paid $700 and a month later the stupid light came back on.
Glad the video helped you out Eva.
Glad the video helped you out!
Thanks my check engine light came on also
I have a 2008 Chevy Equinox and it started with the check left tire pressure first (nothing wrong) then taking my girls to school the service traction control and service stabilitrack light came on and Im experiencing hesitated pull off when I press on the gas and light shaking....is that the the valve thing that needs replacing?
@@randyrogers1065 Did changing the shift interlock solenoid work?
Janay Parson my 08 equinox is doing the exact same thing. Already replaced the EGR valve, but didn’t get an original manufacture EGR valve. I think I should’ve now.
@@jeremyhitt6068 so you think the manufacturer part would fix it?
I ordered the part, did the repair and it worked perfect. Thanks for positing
Chris 12 Happy to hear it helped you out Chris!
I've been trying to find a fix for this for over a year - THANKS!
FOR EVERY PRAISE ON HERE ALREADY I TRIPLE THEM IN THAN YOU GARY.
Man thank you so much for video. Your video just made my day. God be with you.happy holiday.
What was the part called?
Gary Thank you so much. You just save me some good money. I tried exactly what you said. It worked for my Chevy Suburban. Well appreciated. You are the man. Thanks a lot

SIR,you just saved me from the use of several curses 😂thanks for your insight 👍🏽
+darkgray1 Glad that the video helped you out!!!
Thank you so much for making this video it just saved me a crap load of money on my 09 silverado.
Awesome! Thank you very much! I hate taking our car to the dealership to get work done!
Thanks man your video helped us get off the side of the road tonight
Awesome! Thank you so much for this! I love the easy fixes! This should solve my 2007 Suburban issue.
That's work for you
