I have a problem with my 2016 chevrolet 3500 that ocassionally when braking the steering will shake real hard like a really warped rotor, just not all the time, smooth braking one minute shaking hard the next.
Same problem you show, but no fault codes at all. SUV runs and drives perfect. 2008 Trailblazer. Thought it was the typical LF wheel bearing or wiring, but it was checked and found to be OK. Coincidentally on the way home the RR tire TPM sensor failed. I also believe the Stabiltrak switch on the grearshift is broken. Ideas?
@@heathmealer3517 Yes I did. Had to get a mechanic over with the proper scan tools. It all came down to the the air gap in the speed sensor. Has to be .04 and mine was .125 due to a build up of crud. Used brake clean and a wire brush to get a flush seal. Then we went for a ride and he could tell all 4 sensors were reading the same speed. Problem solved. Sometimes the Stabilitrak light will come on for no reason, but if you just cut the key off and back on it goes away. Trailblazers do have some glitches. Have to get a certain TPM also or it won't read tire pressure. Nature of the beast. Still, it runs great and during the last huge snow we had it went anywhere I wanted. So to wrap up, $19 for a speed sensor harness and an hour labor and everything is good.
@@jhargrove1108That is good to know, I had just thought about going to my sensors and cleaning them with brake clean. I have a 2011 Silverado with abs, traction control, and brake lights all on and also says service stabilitrac. Drives fine but when hooked up to even the high dollar mechanic scan tools no codes will come up. Thank you
I have the same problem with my 2011 Hyundai Tucson. The abs and traction control light came on today after I washed my car. Is there any problem if if drive my car even when these lights are on?
You more than likely can still drive it, but with those warning lights on, you want have those safety features that the abs, Traction control provide, for driving in Rain, snow, ect. And also hard stopping.
Try my 2018 Colorado. No power steering ABS Stabilitrac and my parking brake is on. It is Automatic and never used it. No (Check Engine Light) Go Fig...
Thanks bro yeah it was tripping cause of that but reason my abs was on too was the tires on my Tahoe had different tire size all around lol and I put same time and the abs went away
Thank you for showing how to test it everyone else just shows replacement
all worked for me. air in all tires about 7 lbs low and brake fluid reservior low.... all good now. FIXD found no issues after maintenance. THanks
Great video! Not sure if it's my issue, but I'm checking wheel sensors today because of this video!

Wtf , a company wanted me to get a rebuilt engine smh 🤦🏼♀️
Does the truck have to be on the on position when checking or no ?
Does that cause your transmission to shift kinda late ?
Yes it does
