I have a 2008 avalanche I was driving to work and all of a sudden the traction control appeared. It was appearing once in a while like a week or two but then the stability started popping up and while heading to work I don’t know where it’s slow down on me and started making a sound on the bottom, I had to drive slow

Great video. 2007 Avalanche, no symptoms other than check engine light and code P0449. Followed steps exactly and resolved the check engine light issue (after clearing codes)

Mine almost caused a major accident, while driving at 70 mpg,,electrical issues on a GM can be dangerous

I paid over $2000 for my stabili track and it's still coming back on and nobody was able to fix it I'm in a 2007 chevy Tahoe. HEEEELLP

This happend on my '11 Tahoe. In addition to all the warnings, the thing wouldn't get out of park either! Fortunately it's a cheap fix and take like 10 minutes

I have same issue in my Gmc Acadia 2009 but one thing added problem that is while going to drive mode screen shows still on P but it goes heavy while driving and sometime during drive mode everything goes correct and come back again …… still it has same solution ?? Pls advise I am unable to get solution

This video just saved me $90 dealership was asking to replace the bulb. Watched this video for 10 minutes, drove to the store and spend another 10 minutes to put everything back together. Cost of pair of bulbs at the local auto-part store was $8. My 2015 model was slightly different but once I got an idea it was easy to figure out. Thanks!

So the black tube doesn’t connect to anything it just stays open ?

Well in my situation soon as i rotate my steering wheel the light's come on. So this is telling me steering wheel sensor! Same goes with brake pedal sensor soon as you tap it does the lights come on?

Thank you ! I just changed the left side bulb, since from the left side the black switch can't be seen it takes a little bit more wiggling.

How did this video start off about the stabilitrak issue to a brake issue?? So that sensor he replaced will fix the stabilitrak issue or not?

This just happened to me tonight I was driving home and stable lysing traction light came on with the brake light the brake light is flashing the traction control light stayed on the whole time until I got home turn the car off then turn the car back on then it went off could that be the issue with what's going on

I've been struggling with this exact problem with my 2007 Avalanche for more than 5 years. It was happening once or twice per year, and I paid a lot to get it fixed, and then it started happening again and finally got to where it was happening 5 times per day! My mechanic charged me another $1500 to fix it, and the error came back the next day. Exasperated, I found this video, and changed out the brake switch myself. Worked like a charm. Thank you!!!!
